In the 2003 romantic comedy "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days," a women’s magazine editor tasks her star columnist with an experiment to see if she can do exactly that.  The writer zeroes in on an unsuspecting guy, then tries to drive him so crazy with destructive behaviors that he bolts within a week and a half. If the plotline feels familiar, it’s because we’re currently living a similar script. President Biden seemingly has adapted that screenplay into "How to Lose a Country in 10 Months." Like the fictional writer, he zeroed in on his target – America – and is forcing so many destructive policies

To be fair (I know, I know...sorry) to pResident *, I don't believe he has a clue about what destruction he is causing. He's no more making policy decisions than I am. He's just reading a teleprompter and then heading off for his nap, knowing that if he doesn't fuss about it he'll get an ice cream cone.

They are destructive to you, like someone that has been mugged and robbed. But someone is getting all that money, and they are getting richer from your mugging.

Former Gov. Terry McAuliffe has spent nearly $100,000 advertising "fake news" websites on Facebook during the Virginia gubernatorial campaign, Fox News can reveal. The Democrat's advertisements, which have been viewed up to 3.5 million times so far, are hidden on a Facebook page with a similar name to a local news website. The ads link to third-party websites that ostensibly publish local news, but exist to promote Democratic candidates. The websites have been widely described as disinformation and "partisan propaganda."

Virginia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe's remarks about "diversity" and "inclusion" in schools, which he made in 2019, have resurfaced in the pivotal lead-up to Election Day on Nov. 2. Education has emerged as a key issue in the race, with parents raising concerns about critical race theory, COVID-19 restrictions and transgender issues at tense school board meetings in Northern Virginia. "We don't do a good job in our education system talking about diversity, inclusion, openness and so forth," McAuliffe said on C-SPAN Book TV while promoting his book "Beyond Charlottesville: Taking a Stand Against White Nationalism" in 2019.

How do they do it? How do Democrats lie so effortlessly? They claim that there is no open border when we watch nonstop video of illegal immigrants crossing the Rio Grande and being welcomed by Border Patrol agents who put them on buses and planes to settle throughout the country. They claimed (and maybe still do!) that Hunter Biden’s laptop with incriminating evidence of illegal activity not just by Hunter but also by his father, Joe Biden, is Russian disinformation! Remember when Biden stared into the camera and barked that the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan was an “extraordinary success”? Most recently, some of the worst lies have been emanating from Virginia,

In the 1946 movie, "Terror by Night," Sherlock Holmes assures Lady Margaret that, while he and Dr. Watson would be hanging around, "we'll be as unobtrusive as possible." Lady Margaret correctly responds "That would be a novelty from a policeman." That scene came to mind when Attorney General Merrick Garland testified in Congresfbs to assure members that he does not believe that parents protesting at school board meetings are domestic terrorists. The Attorney General insists there was nothing to be worried about because the FBI would simply be monitoring what these parents say or do at school meetings. Promises of such "unobtrusive" investigations or operations ignore the obvious: any

Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-The Moon) made the Democratic position clear Thursday: If you’re not with us, you’re terrorists. During his opening statement for the Attorney General Merrick Garland hearing, Nadler said there was no difference between the rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6 and parents who are angry about what is being taught in schools. “This growth in extremist ideology is echoed in an epidemic of violence and intimidation directed at our health care professionals, teachers, essential workers, school board members and election workers,” Nadler said.

Voters are worried about the classroom. The latest Fox News national survey finds 73% of registered voters are "extremely" or "very" concerned about what public schools are teaching children. The only issues more concerning to voters are inflation/higher prices (87%), political divisions within the country, and health care (76% each). Republicans (81%) and parents (80%) are among those most concerned about what is being taught. For Republicans, only inflation (89%) and migrants at the border (82%) rank higher, while the top worry among parents is also inflation (88%), they put health care in the second spot (81%).

How do you know a Democrat is scrambling to recover from a blunder? Or that a Republican threatens to win an election Democrats thought safe? Or that the guy on the left has run out of arguments? You know, because that’s when the Democrat calls his Republican opponent a racist. The vile accusation has become an all-purpose slur that left-wingers hurl at conservatives to end debate because they can’t defend their own views. Terry McAuliffe has reached this point in his race to become governor of Virginia.

Three years ago, the only people who’d ever heard of Pete Buttigieg were likely to be residents of South Bend, Ind., the town of 103,000 people where he served as mayor. South Bend is home to Notre Dame University. It has a bus station with a fleet of 60 buses, a small train station and a small regional airport. So, who better for Team Biden to nominate as secretary of the Department of Transportation, which employs more than 58,000 employees – more than half the population of South Bend – and has a budget of $87 billion?

As the natural consequences of bad public policy continue their inevitable assault on the American economy, Democrats with national ambitions are going to be increasingly reluctant to let voters pin Joe Biden's tail on their donkey. This may help explain why the president is not getting a lot of help, even from his own inner circle. We aren’t getting the plans we were promised. Instead, we're getting thin smoke and faded mirrors that aren't fooling anyone. Joe Biden may be aging and confused, but what's the excuse for Vice President Harris' failure to address the border crisis, Secretary Buttigieg's failure to contain the shipping crisis, or Secretary Blinken's

"Professor Sheng’s actions do not align with our school’s commitment to anti-racist action, diversity, equity and inclusion," Gier said last week, adding that Sheng has been reported to the Office of Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX.

I wrote previously about the offensive remarks that Barack Obama made while he was campaigning for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia. Among those remarks were ones attacking the concerns that parents have had in Virginia about what is happening in the schools and what is being taught. “We don’t have time to be wasted on these phony trumped-up culture wars, this fake outrage, the right-wing media’s pedals to juice their ratings.” He accused Republican gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin of avoiding “serious problems that affect serious people,” and suggested that outrage over the actions of school boards is unjustified. It was probably the worst day of Alec Baldwin's life when he accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie "Rust" on Oct. 21. It's a time to feel terrible about a 42-year-old woman with a husband and a young son. Then, CNN's Jake Tapper used it in one of his commentaries to denounce the entire Republican Party for making this tragedy an occasion for jokes. "There's something about our politics right now that is driving people away from our shared humanity."

Our current secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen, is busy trying to find a way to tax wealth without calling it taxing wealth. She has eyes on taxing unrealized capital gains. What this means simply is taxing people for money they have not earned or received. That's it in a nutshell. That definition should leave even those who have never had a course in accounting or finance shaken. Not only is Janet Yellen considering this, but the Democrat party is on board as well.

The reference is to the Thursday slaying of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was hit by discharge from a prop gun while working on the Baldwin film “Rust.” Baldwin, the film’s star, was handling the weapon from which the fatal shot was fired. The movie’s director was injured as well.

Joe Biden is out tonight to speak at the rally for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia. Now, one has to think that McAuliffe is feeling pretty desperate to have Biden out to stump for him. As we previously reported, McAuliffe acknowledged that Biden was not popular in Virginia and that basically they had to work their way around that fact. So he must be just grasping for anything he can having Biden in to speak at this point. I can’t imagine Biden helping him at all. Biden doesn’t have any ability to really draw anyone. He surely doesn’t give an inspiring stump speech.
