American truckers don’t like taking orders. But the Biden administration has increased pressure on them to take the vaccine—willing or unwilling. All through the pandemic, truckers endured hardships to keep America’s infrastructure running. They waited in line for hours in sight of bathrooms they weren’t allowed to use. On the road, some died alone of COVID-19. (snip) Polls by trucking publications Commercial Carrier Journal and OverDrive indicate that up to 30 percent of truckers will seriously consider quitting if forced to vaccinate. (snip) US Transport estimates that 70 percent of American freight goes by truck.

The whole economy is likely to grind to a John Galt stop on this damned 'vaccine mandate'. Huge numbers of people realize that The Shot could sicken or kill you in the short term, and do ANYTHING in the long term. Liteerally a hill to 'NOT die on' for many. Keep it up an really just shut down the economy.

Combine this article with one I read yesterday(?) about UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc, warning of vaccine shortages from supply chain disruptions due to vaccine mandates causing labor shortages, and I am seriously considering buying at least a 30 day, if not a 90 day supply of my heart meds outside of my insurance coverage even though I just got a 90 day supply Oct 14. I discussed the cost with my pharmacist when I picked I got this last supply and she thinks it is prudent.

FTA:Long hours away from home and mediocre pay don’t attract new drivers to the business, even when they have the right skills. New workers also might not compare with longtime professionals. Experienced truckers thread their trucks through a complex ballet of traffic conditions and federal regulations.. It takes a special breed to endure as a truck driver. It's astounding the government would do anything to discourage the few who can do it for a living.

#8 IMO it would be foolish and way too costly to take a flight for Thanksgiving. Now is the time to start new traditions for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Stay at home. Buy local. I'm reminded as a child we would make a quick trip from south of Houston to north of Fort Worth, aka 400 miles, for Thanksgiving. We'd repeat the trip for Christmas. In 1963 when JFK was killed my parents were just too sad to make the trip. We stayed home and had a great time with the neighborhood Thanksgiving. It began a new family tradition. Looking back on it it made for a happier Thanksgiving.

We’ll never force the vaccine on our drivers but I worry about truck stops and shippers and receivers requiring it. It used to be drivers would check into an office to load or unload but during the shutdowns most made a way to do it by phone. Bols were left in the trailer so no human contact was made. It’s all so incredibly stupid.

Despite the COVID-19 vaccines having been promoted as safe and effective by legacy media, many health care workers are refusing to take them, and those who openly speak out about their concerns get censored by Big Tech companies or kicked off their platforms. Some nurses and doctors are refusing vaccine mandates even if their refusal will cost them their jobs. The Epoch Times reached out to some of these health care professionals to see why.
