The Defence Secretary today blamed Donald Trump for the speedy collapse of Afghanistan into the hands of the Taliban. Ben Wallace told MPs that a 2020 deal struck by the Trump administration with the Islamic extremists 'couldn’t have been more helpful to the regime in achieving its victory'. He made the claim as he faced a grilling over the speedy military collapse of Afghanistan, which sparked an emergency evacuation of western forces and diplomats in the summer.(Snip)He denied that Nato soldiers had been militarily defeated but admitted: 'Our resolve was found wanting'. And he said he knew 'the game was up' in July.

Of course they did the opposite to Trumps deal so what does that tell you?

Sorry, tea bag. The deal that Xiden implemented is all on him. He choose the timeline and made the decision to proceed over the objections of field commanders. Trump clearly stated over and over that unless the Taliban met specific milestones, there would be no deal and no withdrawal. Comrade Potato Head ignored all that.
You can shove it up your bum, wanker.

When anyone comes out slamming PRESIDENT Trump, I wonder how much of the trillion dollar infrastructure money they will receive for lying. PRESIDENT Trump woukd NEVER had taken the military out of Afghanistan before Americans. Or the people who helped, including the military dogs and the equipment. Common sense tells you Wallace is lying. Just like the Capitol Hill cops. Lies

Pure deflection and narrative rewriting garbage.
Almost no one cares that the Taliban took over. It was inevitable.
What people care about was the shockingly incompetent retreat that left 83 billion dollars of high tech equipment in their hands, a fully functional top notch airbase, hundreds of Americans abandoned, thousands of our local friends and their families left behind, 13 American soldiers dead and 120k unvetted child molesting 8th century barbarians imported.
And oh yeah we didn't bother to let our Allie's know in advance we were going to drop everything and run literally in the middle of the night.
All that mess and the horrors to follow for years to come are on Biden's bloody hands, no one else's.

First of all, there's no "C" in "Defense," you wanker, just like there's no "U" in "Labor" and "Favorite." Second, our disastrous president, who so many Brits seem to like for some reason, didn't have to honor (not 'honour') Trump's deal. He's dismantled everything else Trump did, why would he be obligated to honor this one, you dork? Or should I say, "dourk?"

Failed policies are always the 'standard of performance' by the leftist idiots. And like night follows day, their failure is ALWAYS blamed on others.

Notice that Wallace is complaining about Trump right before Biden and his crew are going to show up in the UK for a climate change conference. Rightfully Wallace should be complaining about Biden implementing his “Bug Out” retreat, and surrender to the Taliban of Afghanistan without notifying the British Government or NATO that had troops in Afghanistan.
Biden caused the Afghanistan Government collapse when he decided to immediately “Bug Out” from Afghanistan against the advise of the US military leadership. If Biden wanted a different outcome, just as everything else relating to Trump policies that Biden changed or reversed, Biden had over six months to change the peace plan to end up with a different outcome. All you have to do is look at Biden’s long history of wrong foreign policy decisions, remember Biden was even against capturing or taking out Osama bin Laden, and wanted to split Iraq into three different countries, so chances are any such foreign policy decisions that Biden makes are sure to be adverse to common sense and USA national security interests.

No doubt that Ben Wallace's position papers written at the time of the Trump negotiations complaining then, about what he is complaining about now, will soon made public.
What?
Nothing like that exists?!?!?
Nevermind.

Trump had nothing to do with this Afghan failure. Trump left plans to withdraw from Afghanistan with everyone and everything when he left office. So the Afghanistan collapse is all on Biteme, Obozo, and the rest of the communist demosluts.

Gee doood, ya only had 8 months in charge of the planning, then six full months in total control of the operations...But somehow it is Trumps show?
"Knew it was over in July"? yeah...after ducking out of Bagram in the middle of the night without informing the Afghan Gov, our allies in Nato, or anyone else at all...back in JUNE? It took you a whole 'nuther month to "know"?
Trump tried to save you from it, realized what you/Uncle Joe were gonna do, tried to move up the May deadline, get everyone out in January, BEFORE the Taliban could stream by the thousands in from Pakistan, surrounding Countries and in from the hinterlands. HE "Knew" when "Fighting Season" is in Afghanistan...Pelosi got Mattis/Milly etal to stop the withdrawal, and then SHE tried to Impeach him for trying to do it.
You and Joe are like the clown trapped on the roof after a Hurricane, was warned it was coming, didn't even test fire the truck until after the highway was closed, turned away the three different boats that came by as the water rose...Now want to blame the "Weatherman" because you are stuck up there and missing your favorite CNN Soap Operas. Key difference? THAT guy only put his OWN life in danger, not the entire "Community"..

President Trump has negotiated and acted under more contracts than Ben Wallace and all his ancestors combined.
The Trump agreement imposed strict periodic obligations on the Afghan parties (including the Taliban). If the Afghans performed their interim obligations, the agreement required the USA to award the Afghans incentive "carrots"; if the Afghans did not perform those obligations, the agreement gave the Americans incentive "sticks" to goad Afghans back into compliance, or to terminate and walk away from the agreement, returning to the status quo ante.
Months ago, it was clear that the Afghans were in violation of the agreement, which would have allowed the USA & allies to terminate the agreement or to impose other "sticks" with which to beat the Afghan defaulters. Of course, Brandon, Ben Wallace, Medals Milley and Blinken were too weak to pull out their sticks and beat the Afghans for defaulting, and they were too indecisive to terminate the agreement--because they wanted out no matter the cost.
So the whole thing blew up and they blamed Trump for it. If the exit had proceeded swimmingly, you can bet they wouldn't have given Trump credit for his shrewd agreement.

Joe Biden's Pentagon was more helpful by far. Their surprise withdrawal gave the Taliban $83 billion dollars worth of US weaponry including more than 600,000 small arms including advanced optics; 30 million rounds of ammunition; more than 200 aircraft including brand-new attack helicopters; more than 75,000 vehicles; and facilities and buildings left intact.
