White House further postpones disclosure
of JFK assassination documents, citing Covid

The White House announced late Friday that it would further postpone the release of more documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, pointing to the "significant impact" of the Covid-19 pandemic. President Joe Biden issued a memo that said the national archivist recommended he "'direct two public releases of the information that has ultimately 'been determined to be appropriate for release to the public.'" The first will be an "interim release" later this year, with a second, "more comprehensive release in late 2022," the memo said. The memo said that the Covid-19 pandemic has slowed down the process of reviewing whether redactions continue to meet the "statutory standard."

Comments:

The President is the only person who can delay the release of the records of the JFK Act and the Assassination Records Review Board which closed up shop in 1998 with a lawful mandate that all records collected at the Archives be release 25 years later. President Trump delayed some records. According to the White House late Friday night "document dump" some will be released this year in December, and the others will be released in December of 2022. It is quite instructive that what is still being witheld is quite damning if it hasn't already been destroyed as the Secret Service admitted to doing in 1995. The Truth is still being suppressed. These days, Presidents are removed by media collusion and Big Tech billionaires....

The big story here is that they're blaming COVID for the delay. As for the documents, they will be so heavily redacted they will be useless.

as an outsider ie: average American citizen, I don't see any connection between the two matters. the demcommies know that if the American citizen learns that LBJ was the architect of the assassination of President Kennedy, there might be some mildly disruptive events in the country - that happened in 1963 which is 58 years ago which for many Americans that is like the beginning of time and it would only be a "No Big Deal"

I really don’t think that there is anything much we don’t know. Maybe some bureaucratic debacle that might make a Dem from the past look bad. The left has a hard time coming to grips with the simple fact that a little communist nut job killed the King of Camelot. Oswald was a loser who defected to the Soviet Union, didn’t like it and returned. He was a member of the ACLU and the Fair Play for Cuba group. I have heard people tell me that the CIA paid Oswald to assassinate JFK. As incompetent as they are are I find it difficult to believe that they would entrust a mission like that to a loose cannon like Oswald.

Corrupt politicians in Georgia are doing all they can to prevent the forensic analysis of absentee ballots in the state. Moments ago, Heather Mullins from Real America’s Voice reported that the hearing set for today to determine if ballots from the November 3rd election could be forensically inspected, as supported by the Georgia Senate vote, was cancelled and the case was to be transferred to another county: A few minutes after the above memo went out, Mullins reports that the hearing was derailed in an attempt to send the case to another county.

House Republicans on Monday night offered a detailed critique of what they called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “socialist wish list” in House Democrats’ $2.5 trillion proposal for responding to the coronavirus outbreak. “Speaker Pelosi unveiled legislation aimed at exploiting the COVID-19 public health crisis by attempting to force the inclusion of a socialist wish list of policies that have nothing to do with the public health and economic emergency,” said House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, Louisiana Republican. After poring over the 1,400-page proposal, Mr. Scalise offered his characterization of Republicans’ objections to the following items:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s new stimulus bill would mandate nationwide “ballot harvesting,” allowing party operatives to return other people’s ballots to polling places without “any limit” on the number of ballots. “Ballot harvesting” was legalized in California in 2016, and first used in the 2018 midterm elections. It allows anyone to drop off someone else’s mail-in ballot at a polling station. There is no process for vetting or verifying those delivering the ballots — no background checks or identification requirements. Democrats dropped hundreds of thousands of ballots off at polling stations in 2018, helping Democrats as they flipped seven Republican seats.

Senate Democrats are trying to use a national emergency to force taxpayers to fund some of their most controversial and radical policies. They have recommended hundreds of millions of dollars in pork barrel funding — including $35 million in funding for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. It’s on page 76 of the massive document. Click here to read for yourself. Democrats did not explain how funding a fancy theater would help stop the spread of the coronavirus. But that amount pales in comparison to the $300 million allocated for the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk’s infamous pot-smoking incident last year prompted NASA to order a mandatory review of the federal contractor’s workplace culture — but taxpayers, not the company, are bearing the cost, according to contracting records reviewed by POLITICO. The space agency agreed to pay SpaceX $5 million in May to cover the cost of the review, which includes educating its employees and ensuring they are following strict guidelines for federal contractors barring illegal drug use. The decision which had not previously been reported, struck some space industry insiders as a highly unusual expenditure

The consensus view on the right is that Hillary Clinton was a primary reason for Donald Trump’s success in 2016. But not all conservatives agree about why that was. For devotees of the Trump-as-savior narrative, Clinton — and all the allegedly nefarious forces at her beck and call — was a uniquely formidable opponent. Defeating her required a different kind of Republican, one who’d be willing to fight as dirty and as tough as the Democrats. This was a “Flight 93 election,” and Trump was the hero we needed to storm the cockpit.

O'Rourke's plan is built around three parts. One would focus on increasing voter turnout. The plan would allow same-day voter registration. Twenty states and Washington DC allow same-day registration now. Sixteen and 17 year olds would be automatically pre-registered.

The Vice President of the United States spoke yesterday at the brand-new Northeast Bronx YMCA, promoting the so-called infrastructure bill that actually would transform the economy into dependence on unreliable “green” power and the populace into unsustainable financial dependence on borrowed money from the US Treasury. The figurative rifles were fired resting on the shoulders of shady lawyers, porn stars, dismissed or disgruntled personnel, anonymous ‘insiders’ and ‘leakers’.
