Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup says it will review its brand and packaging after two other popular products announced changes to their products due to racial bias concerns. “The Mrs. Butterworth’s brand, including its syrup packaging, is intended to evoke the images of a loving grandmother,” the company said in a news release Wednesday. “We stand in solidarity with our Black and Brown communities and we can see that our packaging may be interpreted in a way that is wholly inconsistent with our values.” Conagra Brands said it has “begun a complete brand and packaging review on Mrs. Butterworth’s.”

Maybe they can model the next bottle of syrup after George Soros to keep their brand image consistent with their desire to grovel to target communities. C'mon man.

Get your souvenir Auntie Jemima and Ms. Butterworth’s bottles before they're gone. So you can secretly show the grand un-differentiated humans what life was like in the former Free Republic of America before everything was grey. But, only do that if you're sure they won't snitch you out to the thought police!

So, basically, Conagra Brands wants to reduce the loss which Quaker Foods will take by giving up the years of brand familiarity with Aunt Jemima brand syrups by giving up their years of brand familiarity with Mrs. Butterworth's brand syrups. Both will replace their established brands with an expensive generic brand.

I think they need to re-brand Betty Crocker, because it stereotypes women as homemakers. Also, Quaker Oats, because it appropriates a religion. And Chef Boy-ar-dee makes fun of Italians, Anglicizing their difficult-to-spell name.

Well there goes my favorite Mrs. Butterworth syrup. Guess I will have to make my own buttery syrup with melted sugar and butter like we did before their brand came out. No more purchasing any of their brands for me. I will start reading labels more carefully now to see just who is making products. People must unite and stand against those who are helping destroy the real history of America which used to be united if freedom of choice. The very freedom God our Father I AM THAT I AM gives everyone. Now the Marxist Communist democrats, liberals, Rino's, etc, say there is no more freedom of choice. You will do as the Communists traitors to America say or you will find yourself is Communist brainwashing re-education camps or eliminated. And as one well known communist said, It is easier to kill a million people than to brainwashing them. All communist countries have killed 100's of millions of those who refuse to be brainwashed and they love the way they live without freethinkers. As other Communists have stated, We cannot allow free thoughts in the individual mind. The thoughts that matter, and must be passively obeyed, are the thoughts of the Communist leadership, obey or die.

We had locally made syrups with just a name on the label no faces. So let Quaker Oats groveling begin. Changing a product that some portion of the population doesn't even use and insult the portion that uses it, great move stupid.

I'll remind you that it takes 40 GALLONS of sap to make ONE gallon of syrup.

The White House announced late Friday that it would further postpone the release of more documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, pointing to the "significant impact" of the Covid-19 pandemic. President Joe Biden issued a memo that said the national archivist recommended he "'direct two public releases of the information that has ultimately 'been determined to be appropriate for release to the public.'" The first will be an "interim release" later this year, with a second, "more comprehensive release in late 2022," the memo said. The memo said that the Covid-19 pandemic has slowed down the process of reviewing whether redactions continue to meet the "statutory standard."

House Republicans on Monday night offered a detailed critique of what they called House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s “socialist wish list” in House Democrats’ $2.5 trillion proposal for responding to the coronavirus outbreak. “Speaker Pelosi unveiled legislation aimed at exploiting the COVID-19 public health crisis by attempting to force the inclusion of a socialist wish list of policies that have nothing to do with the public health and economic emergency,” said House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, Louisiana Republican. After poring over the 1,400-page proposal, Mr. Scalise offered his characterization of Republicans’ objections to the following items:

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s new stimulus bill would mandate nationwide “ballot harvesting,” allowing party operatives to return other people’s ballots to polling places without “any limit” on the number of ballots. “Ballot harvesting” was legalized in California in 2016, and first used in the 2018 midterm elections. It allows anyone to drop off someone else’s mail-in ballot at a polling station. There is no process for vetting or verifying those delivering the ballots — no background checks or identification requirements. Democrats dropped hundreds of thousands of ballots off at polling stations in 2018, helping Democrats as they flipped seven Republican seats.

The consensus view on the right is that Hillary Clinton was a primary reason for Donald Trump’s success in 2016. But not all conservatives agree about why that was. For devotees of the Trump-as-savior narrative, Clinton — and all the allegedly nefarious forces at her beck and call — was a uniquely formidable opponent. Defeating her required a different kind of Republican, one who’d be willing to fight as dirty and as tough as the Democrats. This was a “Flight 93 election,” and Trump was the hero we needed to storm the cockpit.

A U.S. Navy investigation has determined that the nuclear attack submarine damaged in a collision in the South China Sea in early October struck an uncharted underwater mountain, defense officials said Monday. The Navy’s U.S. 7th Fleet commander Vice Adm. Karl Thomas is now conducting a review of the findings to determine whether any additional accountability measures will be taken, U.S. Naval Institute News reported. "The investigation determined USS Connecticut grounded on an uncharted seamount while operating in international waters in the Indo-Pacific region,” 7th Fleet spokesperson Cmdr. Hayley Sims said in a statement. Vice Adm. Thomas “will determine whether follow-on actions, including accountability, are appropriate.”

White House National Climate Advisor Gina McCarthy said Tuesday morning that President Joe Biden was 'wide awake' after he was seemingly caught snoozing during a session at the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow Monday afternoon. 'When I saw the president yesterday, he wasn't just wide awake, but he was really on fire,' she told Morning Joe's Mika Brzezinski without prompting. 'He's really excited to have the United States in action here in Glasgow.' Brzezinski didn't ask McCarthy directly about the video of Biden that went viral, where he looked to be dozing off as one speaker underscored the importance of taking action on climate change.
