Attorney Andrew Stoltmann believes actor Alec Baldwin “needs to start thinking like a potential defendant instead of just somebody who made a tragic mistake.”
“There are crimes that cover this sort of situation depending on his level of culpability.”
“I’m certainly not saying he’s going to be charged,” the Chicago-based attorney told Fox News, “but what I am saying is anytime somebody shoots another human being – even on accident, even in self-defense – the police and eventually prosecutors look very, very carefully at what happened.”
“There are literally about a hundred different issues that would need to be resolved, but there is something called negligent homicide,”

Unless Capitol PoPo on Jan 6, HP then you’ll get promoted for shooting unarmed citizens with reckless abandon…

He's a D-RAT Hollywood star... He'll get a lecture and possibly community service... Now, if he were a Conservative Hollywood star, he'd be looking at 20 years.

Exactly #2
Had this happened to say, Clint Eastwood, would Baldwin be 1st in line condemning him?

Poor Alec. He should have moved to Canada as he professed when Bush was elected. Wouldn't be in this mess today.

When did "by" accident become "on" accident? My son used to say he had done whatever "on accident." I would ask him if that was the name of the horse he was riding when he did it, and he'd just look at me. I never understood it.

Use the Chauvin charges at a minimum. After all, Baldwin actually killed someone, Chauvin didn't.

Sorry to disagree with a lawyer, but there aren't a hundred issues to look at. There are 4. He didn't check to see if the gun was loaded, he pointed it at someone, he had his finger on the trigger and most importantly, he's a stupid anti 2nd amendment puke!

Oh but Alec is an expert on firearms. Just ask him and he will tell you we need to confiscate all guns except for his security and the Capitol Police. Ignorance and arrogance can bring anybody down.

Yep, he’s a producer of the movie. Jeopardy attaches to him as an “owner” of the movie’s production and all aspects of its operation.

What I don't understand, is with all the creative special effects people in Hollywood, that a fake gun couldn't have been produced that looked just like a real gun, but wouldn't except real ammo. I'm shocked that they use real guns as props in movies. Why? I'm also shocked that anyone would load a real gun being used as a prop with live ammo. Again, why? Baldwin must have never been trained how to handle a gun. Prop gun or real gun, one never points a gun at anyone, never puts one's finger on the trigger when handling the gun until your ready to shoot, and one always handles a gun as if it were loaded. If these three things were followed, the chance of an accident happening is reduced to almost zero. While the person responsible for handling and getting these prop guns ready for the scene, the person using it during filming has a responsibility to handle it safely.

I think it will boil down to this question: If this was a rehearsal, why was he pointing a gun at people and pulling the trigger?
One of the most basic rules of gun safety is to never point the gun at anyone, unless you intend to cause bodily harm.

Trying to claim he was just a victim of a prop mistake just won't fly. He was extremely outspoken against guns and surely knows the first rule of gun safety is not to point it at anyone you don't intend to shoot. Pleading ignorance should not work.
But he's a lefty so it will.

All I know is that Baldwin’s weakness for threatening outbursts, pugnacious street theater and bullying will not serve him well during any investigation into this incident.

Multiple Cities Burned.
Then there is the Breonna Taylor case...killed while boyfriend is shooting at cops...$Millions$(Cities still burn)
Baldwin shoots/kills a young, 5'3", female/mother/immigrant, union member, holding a camera?
On a film where he is not just an actor but the Producer?
With MORE film experience than anyone else on the Location?
Yeah...Baldwin better get a whole TEAM of Lawyers...if he can find any that will take him.(He needs a Kardashian)

I don’t necessarily buy Baldwin’s crying and distressed face for the cameras. Remember he is an actor and paid to cry and make faces. This needs a full investigation including his relationship to the victim.

Alex Baldwin is an aging actor with limited talent who has made a lot of enemies with his big liberal mouth, especially when it comes to gun ownership. He’s not going to get much sympathy.

"Anti-Gun Activist Charged with Homicide by Gun." There you go, Daily Mail (UK), I wrote your headline for you. Secondary charges would be Incredible Stupidity and reckless use of a tool that many little girls in the US know how to use safely.
