A neighbor of the couple accused of selling U.S. secrets said Jonathan and Diane Toebbe "didn't talk to anybody" and called their arrest a "big shock" for the community.
Jonathan Toebbe, a Navy nuclear engineer with access to military secrets, and his wife, Diana Toebbe, were arrested in West Virginia Saturday on espionage-related charges. Toebbe was charged with trying to pass information about the design of American nuclear-powered submarines to someone he thought was a representative of a foreign government but turned out to be an undercover FBI agent.
The couple is being charged with violating the Atomic Energy Act,

The FBI?
Why should we believe anything the FBI says anymore?
Who is this couple? Why were they targeted? Did they post something about CRT or Hunter or Afghanistan?

The whole 'kept to themselves' thing is a big who cares? to me. So what? We keep to ourselves as well, as do many people. Not everyone is a damn social butterfly, or spends their days and nights bothering neighbors all the time.

This is treason!!! Period!!!
Get a rope and hang them. Today.
But, no, under our current administration, he will probably get 5 years in prison (and be out in less than 2 for "good behavior"), while his wife won't get anything.

Uhmmm...what "If" the dude was selling those Nuke Sub "Secrets" to Australia?
Trying to get some side money from the Soooooper Secret Sub Sale that the Bidens were colluding in against the French.
No matter what it was/is super sketchy and wrong, but...WHICH country he was trying to spy for really does make a difference.
Strange they can nab this dude, but Fienstein and Swalwell's multi year, imbedded, Chinese Spies were not arrested even AFTER it became public knowledge. Nor have Swalwell or Di-Fi paid any price in public power or access to secrets.

Why would they. My neighbor has a dog and he seems to like my cats. Little does he know that I despise his dam dog.PS none of the above is true but it could be.

Diana was also big into the #resist nonsense on social media. She can resist in the slammer.

What a stupid headline. Neighbors were surprised because they didn't chit chat about selling secrets to the Chinese? Man, what kind of neighbors are they. I always let my neighbors know when I'm planning on selling classified info to a foreign power. It's just the right thing to do.

Blindfolds and walls as soon as they are convicted. Ammo costs are up, but it's worth it.

I dunno.
Maybe they were traitors, but we already KNOW the FBI is a bunch of traitors that conspired against, illegally wiretapped, disobeyed direct orders of their Commander in Chief.

Daily Mail has a lot more detailed layout on this story that the Fox News story from earlier. This guy was trying to sell performance data on the newest Virginia class fast attack subs. His specialty is vibration analysis which is critical to the ability of the sub to evade detection. This is a huge deal, potentially more damaging than even the Pollard case.
It appears he tried to sell to an allied foreign government, because that government contacted us with the first packet of information he sent. FBI had no clue what was going on until they were tipped. That means this guy managed to evade every security apparatus in our government dedicated to counterespionage.
The speculation is that the government he approached is France, though I tend to discount that personally. I am convinced it was Australia or Great Britain. The timelines of the AUKUS deal fit in too well with these events.

They could be spending the rest of their lives in prison; federal prison. That's some hard time, right there, and well-deserved. Miserably rotting in a cell for decades. Justice tastes sweet.
