On Thursday during a visit to Chicago at the Clayco Construction site in Elk Grove Village, President Joe Biden had a mental breakdown while trying to promote his vaccine mandates. While this looks pretty bad, I would like to have heard the 5 seconds which came before this in order to put it in context. Listening to it, it sounds like he stumbled over his tongue and said "Ohio Pennsylvania" when he meant to say something else, realized that he had done so and that it made no sense and repeated it as "that was a silly thing to say and not at all what I meant to say" then went on with his speech. What he said after that made no sense, but it might have if I had heard what he said before the clip started.

WASHINGTON - The U.S. government announced Friday it will provide more than $20 million to nearly 700,000 asylum seeks, refugees and vulnerable migrants in Central America and Mexico. The additional funding, provided through the Department of State’s Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (PRM), will "help meet urgent humanitarian needs," and brings the total humanitarian assistance for Central America and Mexico to more than $331 million for Fiscal Year 2021, according to the state department’s spokesperson Ned Price. According to Price, the additional money will support increased access to international protection, access to mental health support, legal assistance, shelter and healthcare, including prevention and treatment of COVID-19.

Dozens of climate activists have been arrested after they clashed with police in Washington DC and forced their way into the Interior Department building in scenes that some have called reminiscent of the US Capitol riot. An Interior Department spokeswoman said a group of demonstrators rushed the lobby on Thursday, injuring multiple security officers, at least of whom was taken to a nearby hospital.
