Dozens of climate activists have been arrested after they clashed with police in Washington DC and forced their way into the Interior Department building in scenes that some have called reminiscent of the US Capitol riot.
An Interior Department spokeswoman said a group of demonstrators rushed the lobby on Thursday, injuring multiple security officers, at least of whom was taken to a nearby hospital. Police and protesters clashed outside the building, and officers used Tasers and batons against several unarmed protesters, representatives for the activist group said. The group said 55 participants were arrested.

Bet in terms of everything accountable, they were more violent, better armed, and intended harm.

Biden, Harris, and the leftist and socialist Democrats along with their media propagandists will blow this new woke riot (insurrection) off, you can bet on that.

Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd, of the Capitol Police force, most likely wasn't at the scene.
We know, officially, that Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd shot and killed unarmed Ashli Babbit inside the Capitol Building on January 06, 2021.
Was Lieutenant Michael Leroy Byrd working on Thursday, October 14, 2021?

Any of them make their way to DC by something gasoline powered? Any of them heat their shacks with NG, fuel oil or propane?

How many were shot dead, they sound like a much bigger threat than J6? I suspect these people are working for the Democrats/Soros/China gang.

They will all likely be back on the street soon, unlike the January 6 protesters.

Reminiscent! Were the doors and windows opened for these miscreants and invited by the capitol “police” to enter and just wander through the building. Was an innocent unarmed woman murdered by a “manly brave” black police Lieutenant who had a history of forgetting where his pistol was. Was anyone thrown into jail? If so will they stay in jail for months in solitary?
Is this being labeled as an insurrection and is the FBI swat team raiding their homes? Was the FBI part of this group? Is Antifa and Black Lives Matters involved and will they be prosecuted for this as well as and burning down multiple Democrat run cities?

"Fossil fuels" is a nonsensical term that has been used for decades by those from both left and right who believe in the Peak Oil theory, which supposes the earth is running out of petroleum, natural gas, and coal, which are all in reality renewable fuels (coal over a very long time). All fossils and all remains of once living things are in the earth's crust, which has neither the extreme atmospheric pressures (50,000 atmospheres) nor the approximately 1,500 C. temperatures to cook the ingredients into petroleum and its derivatives. Iron oxide and calcium carbonate (extremely abundant in the earth's mantle) are in continuous reaction, creating this earth's fuel we can use if we maintain the will to go get it.
In 2008 Peter J. Morgan wrote a essay that completely changed the way I think about energy.

Unlike the "fossil fuel" theory, the abiotic oil theory makes complete sense. And despite what the SCOTUS ruled, CO2 is not a pollutant. It's plant food. The more we CO2 we have, the more abundant food we will have. We should burn more coal!

To be a member, these people against fossil fuels have to swear on their ancestor’s ashes to not use anything made of or by fossil fuel. This includes food, transportation, clothing, medication and etc. They are, to a woman, man of something else, great and Nobel heroes who will save the planet. Or starve trying.

Facebook will scrub these people's comments and their friends to identify who of their friends were also onsite? AirBNB will permanently ban them from renting? Various banks will scrub their purchases to show they attended......with all of the aforementioned turning their results over to the FBI to vigorously track them down and arrest them. Then they'll get solitary confinement in a DC jail for 10+ months with little to no ability to see lawyers while awaiting trial under insurrection charges that'll eventually get downgraded to trespassing?! No? Of course not. They're leftists. The law protects them.

Really? The Jan 6 people did not injure anyone. The Capitol Police did and killed an innocent woman. If you can't write accurately stay home.

Re: #13 - As a former petroleum geologist and geophysicist, I respectfully but strongly disagree with almost every one of the assertions regarding the genesis of oil and gas, the claims made regarding iron-carbonate geochemistry as a source for oil and gas, as well as the assertions, disproven, regarding heat and pressure generation within the earth's crust. And "fossil fuel" is a very apt term that has nothing to do with the straw man "Peak Oil" theories. Abiotic oil, a pseudoscientific theory makes absolutely no sense, especially among those who have drilled and produced millions of barrels of oil and many millions of cubic feet of methane from the Earth's crust. Yes, we have many years of oil reserves in the U.S. but not one drop of it was generated from a continuous reaction between CaC03 and FeO2. Like Calcium Carbonate (limestone), the vast bulk of oil and gas has a tiny marine plant and marine animal life origin. The dead dinosaur origin is essentially a myth. Some abiotic hydrocarbons (isotopes with little to no energy value) have been found adjacent to the mid-Atlantic ridge, associated with hydrothermal vents but you won't be putting that in your gas tank or kitchen stove.
Drilling 10,000 to 15,000 feet below the surface became fairly common in the '70s and 80s and bottom hole pressures at such depths can exceed 6,000 pounds psi and temps can hit 500 degrees F. Drill bit deformation is a problem at depths below 15,000 feet. Producible quantities of oil and gas were typically generated in shales far deeper than 15,000 feet and at far greater temperatures and pressures.
