Rand Paul prods Xavier Becerra to apologize
to COVID-19 survivors for ‘flat-earthers’ crack

As far as Sen. Rand Paul is concerned, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra owes an apology to those who have opted against being vaccinated after recovering from COVID-19. Mr. Becerra took a swing last week at “flat-earthers” as he pushed for vaccines at a health-policy forum sponsored by the Foundation for Healthy Kentucky, saying that “because some flat-earthers, especially those in places of influence, choose to peddle fiction, we’re losing more of our loved ones.” Taking umbrage was Mr. Paul, who ripped Mr. Becerra during a Thursday hearing of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, citing an extensive Israeli study

Comments:

Who says the Republicans are completely ineffective? Here's one with another tasty zinger. Take THAT, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra! Meanwhile, the Democrats, working hand in hand with the GOP, successfully foiled President Trump for 4 years, most notably on the border and election security, and now we're on the cusp of global communism.

Hector Becerra for HHS was a huge mistake. This crude, rough racialist is terribly miscast. Even liberal California papers ran numerous editorials warning that he was wrong for this job and advising against his confirmation.

Between 65% and 80% of people have pre-existing natural immunity to this virus, shown by the inadvertent Diamond Princess cruise ship outbreak. Add in those who had the virus and got over it, and I suspect that we are already to the point of herd immunity. I drove past a local HS stadium last night and heard the announcer on the loud speaker and the crowd cheering in response, cars jammed the parking lot, stands jammed. THAT was wonderful to see and hear. Normalcy. People should choose what they want to do, but they should have the FACTS, not just the government and media propaganda about this virus and their "vaccination" which isn't really a vaccination. People need to choose for themselves. Choose to get The Shot or not, it should be your INFORMED decision, without any coercion.

Becerra should know the earth is flat. It's the science, otherwise we would all fall off. Since when does a Business major know anything about Biology. The whole point of a true vaccine is to give a person a mild case of the disease to be fought so that the body would develop T cells to fight the infection. This immunity could last a year or a lifetime. That shot they want to get into everybody has something in it that the globalists want us to carry around. Could be a nano chip. Who knows?

Sen Paul has been excellent in his diligent pursuit of valid information regarding Covid. He made Becerra look like a fool and reduced him to reciting meaningless, unsupported assertions rather than directly addressing the issues raised.

There's a lot of ignorant people in this country and not just in this HHS. Just went to an Eye doctor in Boise and the male nurse, not his business, asked me if I'd had gotten the vaccine. I said no, because I had natural immunity because I had had Covid and didn't need to. I asked him if he had had Covid and he said yes and he also had had the "jab." I said, "Why? you now have natural immunity, you don't need the shot and the vaccine doesn't stop Covid from you getting it or you giving it to others." He said how long does the immunity last? I said Israel says natural immunity is 27times stronger than a vaccine shot. Who knows how long, but we do know it's greater than the vaccine since boosters are now being given out. This nurse seemed totally clueless and hasn't been listening to the Medical experts like the ones who come on Fox News especially Laura Ingraham's program. It's a sad state of affairs when I'm educating an R.N. when they should know the medical facts of the Covid vaccine shots and it's side effects, more than me. Brother!

A memo signed by Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks on Friday said the new mandate is in line with the presidential directive issued last month requiring federal agencies to implement vaccine requirements. “Vaccinating (department) civilian employees against COVID-19 will save lives and allow for the defense of our Nation,” said Hicks. “Thank you for your focus on this critical mission.”(Snip)The memo says those who had COVID-19 infections are “not considered fully vaccinated” for the purposes of the mandate.
