United States military Central Command (CENTCOM) commander Gen. Kenneth McKenzie threw president Joe Biden under the bus on Tuesday when he said that he warned the president that Afghanistan could easily collapse and recommended the United States keep a small amount of troops in the region. Biden refused.“By July, many intelligence reports grew more pessimistic, questioning whether any Afghan security forces would muster serious resistance and whether the government could hold on in Kabul, the capital. President Biden said on July 8 that the Afghan government was unlikely to fall and that there would be no chaotic evacuations of Americans similar to the end of the Vietnam War,”

Bai-Den Zhou is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Red Chinese Army.
Hunter was the go-between.
Do not expect anything but chaos from chairman Zhou.

Throw McKenzie into the brig for insubordination

Maybe it's time for Congress to now bring Biden in for questions so we can all understand what his rationale was for over turning his top Generals.
Or did he follow an advisor, and if so, who? Bring that person in for questioning, to determine how much influence that person has over POTUS.

If this were Trump, it would be on the front page of every paper tomorrow, and the networks would be interrupting their soap operas right now for a "Special Report." This is a huge story, and should make every American disgusted. Biden is a disgrace.

We all know what happened. Joe wanted to be crowned a conquering hero on Sept 11 - the 20th anniversary of the terror attacks. Instead of solemn remembrances he thought there would be parades in his honor for getting out of Afghanistan. The facts on the ground would be ignored at all cost.

Grandpa McKenzie’s inspirational leadership of CENTCOM was so magnificent it took him a week to comment on the disaster in his own AOR. Now, he says Xiden didn’t listen to him. Go back to your nap gramps.

“I won’t share my personal recommendation to the president, but I will give you my honest opinion and my honest opinion and view shaped my recommendation. And I recommended that we maintain 2,500 troops in Afghanistan,” Milley said.
So, did he or did he not recommend leaving 2,500 troops there? What was included in his "personal recommendation" that wasn't in his recommendation? The man is full of double-speak.
As has been pointed out here by other posters, the Joint Chiefs are far removed from the day-to-day activities of the military and aren't entitled to be in the tactical decision-making process. There is no greater misnomer than "Chief of Naval Operations" - the guy has nothing to do with operations. McKenzie, on the other hand, is one of the unified commanders directly responsible for security in his part of the globe and should have been the go-to guy for any such recommendations. I never doubted that he recommended exactly what he said.

McKenzie is saying Joe lied when Joe said "No one told me Afghanistan would collapse if I didn't leave 2,500 troops there" and Milley is concurring with McKenzie - so Joe lied. Joe's going to have to address it .... which should be an interesting bit of theatre, or else the 25th Amendment stuff is looming.

Will Gen McKenzie be the next military staff to be thrown into the brink for speaking out against the Biden administration and it's Afghanistan policies and failures?
