Though the effort to relieve California Dictator Gov. Gavin Newsom of his duties a little early did not go the way recall proponents wanted it to, all hope is not lost on the electoral front for Republicans because though Newsom will remain in office at least until the 2022 gubernatorial election, there are warning signs among the results from the recall (which are still coming in) that do no bode well for Democrats in the state and nationally going into the 2022 midterms. Longtime polling analyst Dave Wasserman looked at the tea leaves among the incoming numbers for various competitive House districts in the state, and said

It was a tragic defeat. More homelessness, encampments, crime, illegal aliens, gas at $5, highest taxes in the country, highest welfare, BML gone feral, crumbling streets, median home price $800,000, no drilling, closed nuclear power plants, no new reservoirs for 40 years, no water. I live in California. There is no escape for me. I am entrapped by the Marxists and their fake ballots.

As long as the paper ballots remain unrequested but sent out to everyone using drop boxes (no proof of custody or requested) along with Dominion the left will never lose. Republicans believe just voting in person with massive turnouts they can win don't place you hopes on that one. The bellwether was California and that's what 2022 and 2024 will be it's a pipe dream to believe you can win unless the paper ballots are outlawed and Dominion machines are dumped in the ocean.

Stunning helicopter footage shot Friday shows hundreds of illegal immigrants streaming into Texas from Mexico across the Rio Grande — with no intervention form authorities on either side of the border. One day after the Federal Aviation Administration prevented Fox News from using a drone to capture images of thousands of illegal immigrants sheltering under the Texas bridge, the outlet is now able to capture aerial footage from a Texas Department of Public Safety helicopter. On Thursday, the FAA instituted a two-week flight restriction over the city of Del Rio

PARIS — French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian said Friday evening that France is immediately recalling its ambassadors to the U.S. and Australia in a backlash over a submarine deal. Le Drian said in a statement that the decision, on request from President Emmanuel Macron, “is justified by the exceptional seriousness of the announcements” made by Australia and the United States. He said the cancellation by Australia of a big contract to buy French conventional submarines in favor of nuclear-powered subs built with U.S. technology is “unacceptable behavior.”

An advisory panel to the Food and Drug Administration on Friday recommended against approving a booster shot of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine to most Americans. The scientific advisory committee voted 16-to-3 against recommending the additional shots, thwarting the Biden administration’s hopes that the FDA would approve the third shot in time to begin rolling out the extra dose for Pfizer recipients next week. The vote followed a daylong debate in which a number of the panel’s independent experts questioned whether the data justified a broad rollout of an additional shot to most Americans while the vaccines still appear to offer strong protection against severe COVID-19 disease and hospitalization.

An investigation by the US military has determined that an airstrike last month in Kabul killed up to 10 people, including an aid worker and seven children, a top Pentagon official said. General Kenneth McKenzie said no ISIS-K fighters — the supposed target of the drone strike — were killed. "I offer my profound condolences," McKenzie said. "It was a mistake and I offer my sincere apology." The military was initially operating "reasonable certainty at the time of the strike to designate the vehicle as an 'imminent threat,'"

That’s quite a cultural shift — and it will likely lead to a political shift as well, and not in favor of the current administration. Women accounted for almost half of all new gun owners in a 27-month period that includes the pandemic as well as the Democratic presidential primary run-up, according to a new study by researchers from Harvard and Northeastern. Clearly, the gun-control rhetoric of the campaign and in the Biden administration has not had its intended impact: Close to half of all new U.S. gun buyers since the beginning of 2019 have been women, a shift for a market

With all the arguments around the $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill and the bipartisan infrastructure bill, one issue that has fallen by the wayside is that of the debt ceiling. In order for Democrats to get what they want, it will have to be lifted, which means we are headed for another major shutdown battle in the coming weeks. Janet Yellen, the Treasury Secretary, recently called Sen. Mitch McConnell to lobby his support to raise the debt ceiling. But McConnell, perhaps sensing that he has nothing to gain by handing Democrats another victory, gave his response: Nah.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) will reportedly still not support Joe Biden’s $3.5 trillion reconciliation package for the time being, despite the president’s efforts to persuade him, according to Axios. On Wednesday, sources told Axios that President Joe Biden reportedly hosted Manchin for a meeting at the White House where he failed to persuade the senator into agreeing with the $3.5 trillion bill. Axios was told Biden explained to Manchin his opposition could imperil the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill that’s already passed the Senate. Biden’s analysis did little to persuade Manchin to raise his top line. Manchin held his position and appears willing to let the bipartisan bill hang in the balance
