the Grossly Incompetent Way We Left!’

During his speech at the White House on Monday, President Biden deflected from the current debacle in Afghanistan that his administration helped create by sticking to a carefully written script about how America’s involvement had to end now and not a moment later. President Trump, however, dismissed Biden’s rhetoric, noting that it failed to acknowledge his administration’s hand in botching the U.S. withdrawal from the region.“It’s not that we left Afghanistan,” Trump said in a statement. “It’s the grossly incompetent way we left!”

The minute some Pentagon do-gooder publicly thumped his chest about bringing the Afghan translators to the US the Taliban realized the jig was up. Full steam ahead.

If the media wants to rectify the situation of this illegitimate administration, they should be getting behind Trump and backing the election audits. That’s if they really care about our country.

We did not pull out with a plan to destroy military assets, a plan to protect the most vulnerable, or any plan at all. It was basically cut and run, a full scale rout. Thank you Joe.

OKAY.......
First we abandon Bagram.
Then we hatch a plan to fly in thousands of troops with no place for them to land or operate out of.
Then we commandeer a tiny pos airport that we can't even control.
Ya.....that's the ticket !!!

And the one thing you can always say about Trump is that he plans and is a pragmatist; he would change course in mid stream if things went sideways...he would have had an exit strategy (someone suggested not only doing this in Winter with heavy snow etc. while the Taliban are sheltering with our "ally" Pakistan, but taking civilians, interpreters, U.S. administrators out early on quietly and taking the military out LAST and then bombing the airbases and any armaments left.

#2...With exceptions, the Media is going into CYA mode. They know they can't cover for Biden anymore so they either come out against him or go down with him. That doesn't mean they'll back the REAL president. I'm guessing that they'll shortly be trumpeting the glories of all that is Karmella Hairball and trying to push her in a glowing light to replace Grampy Joe.

First off...trump ain't president, secondly just how does anyone think he would have done any better given the fact that the Afgan military and govt. fell apart overnight..?? You can have all the grandiose plans in the world to do something but if everything goes sideways you better know how to change course in 60 seconds. Posturing and finger pointing isn't going to get Americans out of Afghanistan safely...save that bs for later. Everybody is suddenly an "expert" on what should or should not have been done.
Given the situation as it exists now our military is gonna do the best they can given what they have to work with and I have no doubt they will get those people out safely. And if a few tally-ban meet allah...well tough.

For one thing, Trump would have launched air strikes to take out the Taliban before they had a chance to do what they did. Also, he wouldn't have left our military equipment behind to be captured by the bad guys. And, he wouldn't have abandoned Bagram Air Base. Just a few things he would have done which were not done by Xiden.

#7, I am guessing that from most of your responses, you are a Biden supporter. So given your current answer, didn't seem that way during the four years of Donald Trump's presidency. They looked in every nook and cranny to find something to criticize him about and even made crap up. So now because you think so, I should give leniency to Joe Biden. Oh, please.

And #7 you would be wrong about whom I support. I don't happen to be one of those who think trump is some genius about everything. And biden is just another pathetic has been career politician.
I believe that the current situation could have been handled differently but I don't attribute some kind of futuristic fore site to trump as to what he might have done or not done in Afghanistan. And biden had many of the same military advisors and intelligence people that trump had yet we wound up with the current situation. So second guessing either man is an exercise in futility because none of us really knows what they might or might not have done as the situation unfolded.
So for now all we can do is get all of the Americans out and everybody can play the blame game after that is accomplished.

Actually #10, you are #7. If you will notice I said "I am guessing" which means uncertainty and not a foregone conclusion. If you think I view Donald Trump as walking on water, you are sadly mistaken. I credit Jesus for that! What I tired of was the non-stop complaining about everything Donald Trump did and Joe Biden was one of them. Called him xenophobic for putting the China ban in place but now Biden can't see what is right in front of him. Look at how many Americans are left in Afghanistan - truly sad that this administration couldn't have planned differently. After all, they seemed to know everything while Trump was President of the USA. . .

I've given this more thought to the debacle in Afghanistan and have concluded that Biden's action here is not incompetence. You can read about Trump's plan to pull out and see that it was well thought out. But Biden and his cabal threw this out the window because it was Trump' plan! That's because they hate Trump so much that they go against everything he has accomplished regardless of the consequences, as we have witnessed. Thirty four executive orders reversed and immigration and now Afghanistan. That's unspeakable and it's cruel what they have done to this country just to kick Trump. Blame the MSM and the Democrats for all of this. They are up to their necks in this disaster.

LOL #11....yep I can’t keep track if I’m a 1,a 10 or what...😎. However we look at it does not nor should it give anyone any confidence in our so called leaders. Not to have prepared for this kind of situation doesn’t bode well for possible future situations that could occur in this country or overseas. I find it hard to believe that someone in the military didn’t have a plan if something like this happened. Of course they were probably ignored and called an alarmist. Our so called experts proved again that they are not.

Let me clarify my earlier comment. I agree with getting the people out who helped us. As one poster said it should have been done close hold. But some functionary had to get his “hey look at me” moment. The Pentagon is overrun with poli-sci majors with real soldiers few and far between in the leaders.

Biden could not have written that speech as he was at Camp David alone and was flying around in a helicopter. One media story said he read the speech off a teleprompter while at Fort McNair that is located across DC from the White House, if that was so, why did not Biden read his speech from the White House? Notice that for the last few days Biden is always alone with no aides nearby?
