Reality Bites Biden’s Policies

Original Article

Wretchard summarizes Biden’s challenging week and notes the challenges are going to get even bigger: Joe Biden is facing simultaneous challenges. The collapse of Afghanistan in place of a “decent interval”; The resurgence of the Covid Delta variant in place of the anticipated reopening of society; Looming inflation and economic problems in place of the anticipated boom. The unending border crisis. It’s a dramatic reversal of fortune on all fronts. Biden failed to anticipate either the events or their speed and intensity and there is little to suggest he can handle the second order crises that is coming in its wake. Reality has gotten inside Joe’s OODA loop.

Biden's policies? More like Obama's third term especially the way the Jan 6 protesters are being treated . That is pure Obama, vindictive and vengeful.

Biden has managed to accomplish what I thought was impossible. The Biden regime has managed to make the Jimmy Carter administration look competent in comparison. And we are only 7 months in. The prospect of another 41 months of this drooling buffoon is frightening. We have 15 months to go before the midterms and another 2 before the GOP can take back control of congress, assuming we have a fair election. Its going to get a whole lot worse.

Richard Fernandez is one of my favorite writers on political and military matters. He used to go by Wretchard a long time a go at his Belmont Club blog. He was outed as Richard Fernandez then took a place at PJMedia. Between him and Clarice we get a really accurate picture of how badly Biden's policies are screwing up this country. Thing is, Biden's uber-Left handlers want the Cloward-Piven strategy to succeed. They are trying to collapse America's capitalist/republic. Wretchard and Clarice are just accurate reporters of how it's all going down.

FTA: "The moral tragedy in Afghanistan as the Taliban rapidly reasserts control and we are not able to rescue those who worked with us." No Afghan "worked with us". What were US goals in Afghanistan? We propped up government and security forces for 20 years - Afghan forces, not American. These people failed themselves. They failed to work with us. And now that the outcome seems certain, they seem to believe we owe them. (Oddly, some Americans share that sentiment.) I say take up arms and go out like the "Freedom loving" Afghan men and women our soldiers fought and died to give this opportunity.

If there is a major outbreak of the supposedly vaccine-resistant "Lambda Variant" it will be entirely due to Biden firehosing and seeding criminal immigrants from the South and Central American countries in which the "variant" originated into the United States.

A Brief History of the Assault on Conservatives
as ‘Violent Extremists’

The assault on conservative Americans began several decades ago with attacks on traditional principles and values. Belief in individual liberty and responsibility, free enterprise, and the rule of law was willfully conflated with “right-wing extremism.” Pride in America, a desire to protect our borders, and opposition to illegal immigration was branded as xenophobic. Championing the constitutional right to bear arms was decried as gun-crazed zealotry. Belief in religion, natural law, and the sanctity of human life was maligned as backward and anachronistic.

Brian Kolfage, an airman who survived losing both legs and an arm in Iraq, started a fundraiser to build a wall on our Southern border. The project took off, a lot of money flowed in, and the federal government promptly went after Kolfage, accusing him of defrauding those who donated money. This post is not about Kolfage’s guilt or innocence on the charges against him. It is, instead, about allegations that the government is effectively torturing him by denying him access to a medicine that controls the nerve pain resulting from his leg amputations. We know that the government has been exceptionally vicious in its prosecution against Kolfage.

Because what they say about Hungary in their rants about Tucker is intimately bound up with what they say in those very same rants about America. Quite simply, they hate the Orbán regime, and Tucker’s defense of it, for the same reason they despise flyover Americans. To begin with, they hate them for their patriotism. Of all the reinventions Bob Dylan has undertaken in his long, shape-shifting career, none was more radical and jarring than his conversion to Christianity in the late 1970s. In terms of defying expectations, not even going electric can compare with going evangelical. This was Bob Dylan after all, a Jewish-born avatar of 1960s counterculture. He could have adopted few other identities that would have felt like such a direct repudiation of everything his fans thought he represented. What happened? How did the restless mind behind “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “Like a Rolling Stone” find Jesus Christ and later release a trio of Christian rock records?

President Joe Biden will remain hidden at his presidential retreat at Camp David through Monday, according to the White House, as the Taliban swiftly seized control of Afghanistan. The president’s daily guidance for Monday indicated Biden would remain at Camp David for at least one more day, with no public events scheduled. But a senior administration official indicated to reporters Sunday evening that Biden might address the country “in the next few days,” according to reports. It remains unclear whether Biden will speak from Camp David or return to the White House to deliver his speech, the reports noted. He was previously scheduled to remain at Camp David until Wednesday.

Fauci said, “What’s coming next is that we are going to have to continue to get people vaccinated so that right now, even in states in which you have a good relative proportion of people vaccinated, you have to get the overwhelming proportion of people vaccinated. But you also have to do mitigation. And that gets to the controversial issue of mask-wearing and the mandating of things mandating of vaccines,

What will it take for Joe Biden to admit he is disastrously wrong about Afghanistan? The US leader struck a defiant pose last week. Sounding like a slightly desperate Olympics coach, he told Afghans it was their country. If they want it, they have to fight for it. In American politics-speak, this is called tough love. Without the love. Biden has more hands-on foreign policy experience than any president since George HW Bush. That doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. Opinion polls suggest his abrupt Afghan withdrawal has majority public support. That doesn’t mean Americans will remain indifferent as the carnage and misery mount.

As the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack looms, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is crying poverty for the second year in a row. This time, it says it can’t afford to mount special exhibitions planned to mark the two-decade milestone. In 2020, the twin-beam “Tribute in Light” was canceled only to win a last-minute reprieve after soon-to-be-ex Gov. Cuomo pitched in state resources. But no such bailout appears in the offing this time. In fact, this year, the museum is shamefully restricting the reading-of-the-names ceremony exclusively to the families of 9/11 victims. No hero firefighters, cops, first responders or emergency workers,
