WASHINGTON – President Joe Biden said Wednesday his administration is taking steps to crack down on illegal activity that might be contributing to a rise in gas prices. Biden announced that the National Economic Council has asked the Federal Trade Commission to use “every available tool” to monitor the U.S. gasoline market and look for any illegal activity that might be causing gas prices to jump while the cost of a barrel of oil is going down. “That’s not what you’d expect in a competitive market,” Biden said from the White House. Blame white supremacy and white privilege. That's what they blame everything else on. Would be nice if the current administration had wised up, but we all know that's not going to happen. Seriously, what has caused the spike in gasoline prices? Its more than the closure of a pipeline. What did they do? The Biden administration knows. Congress knows. The media probably knows. Biden will probably send Harris out to claim she found that the “root cause” of the gas price increases is a criminal conspiracy between Trump and the Russians. If that happens, Pelosi will no doubt set up a new congressional committee to investigate Trump and the Russians for jacking up gas prices. It’s funny and shows the stupidity loose in the country, as here right with Trump as President before the last November election, the price of gas was about $1.50 a gallon, and now with Biden as President the price of a gallon of gas is over $3.00. Don’t be surprised if Biden does not authorize the buying a lot of gas from the Russians claiming that will bring the price of gas down for minorities and the little people who he professes to represent. I seem to remember that before the November election that the USA was energy independent with no need to buy gas from any foreign country. I guess that has changed. Maybe Hunter or other Bidens will even snag a high paying job on the board of directors of the Russian energy company that would be importing gas to the USA.

I guess the base of the Marxists is too stupid to put two and two together, so they decide to put this out. Stopping the drilling and fracking, plus ending a major pipeline project won't keep fuel prices low. Plus asking OPEC to increase oil production after your country was energy independent won't register with the woke base. The rest of us know exactly why gas prices have almost doubled since Biteme has taken office. We don't need an expensive government investigation in which the results won't show the real reasons.

Another 1,000 soldiers from the Army's 82nd Airborne have been ordered to head directly to Afghanistan's capital instead of Kuwait to assist in the evacuation of U.S. personnel and Afghans who assisted the U.S. mission, a U.S. official told ABC News. WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden authorized on Saturday an additional 1,000 U.S. troops for deployment to Afghanistan, raising to roughly 5,000 the number of U.S. troops to ensure what Biden called an “orderly and safe drawdown” of American and allied personnel. U.S. troops will also help in the evacuation of Afghans who worked with the military during the nearly two-decade war. The last-minute decision to re-insert thousands of U.S. troops into Afghanistan reflected the dire state of security as the Taliban seized control of multiple Afghan cities in a few short days. The militant and fundamentalist movement gained control of

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin reportedly said he was 'beyond disappointed' with the Afghan army's capitulation to the Taliban and added: 'You can't buy willpower, and you can't buy leadership.' The Pentagon chief is said to have made remarks during a call with other US government members Sunday, as the Afghan capital began to fall to the Taliban, its US embassy closed, and the number of American troops deployed there rose by 1,000 to 6,000. Austin and fellow intelligence officials blame the Afghan army for not opposing the Taliban in a more prominent way, FOX News reported.

No hero firefighters, cops, first responders or emergency workers,
