Everything is ultimately focused towards impoverishing, disabling and weakening America and Americans so they can be controlled through socialist oppression. Economic, social, military, foreign, environmental, educational you name it. If this does not wake us up I really don't know what will and when..

Went to the grocery yesterday. The cat food I bought last week went up $.17 a can, the roast beef I bought is up $2.00 a pound. I bought it "on sale". The sale price was the price that is was last week. A five pack of shucked corn was $4.95. Literally everything I bought had a new, higher price. I am a semi prepper and have gone into my survival mode and will be stocking up my dry goods and freezer. Then I went to fill up the car. There is no way biden has a 53% positive rating. Luckily I have already completed my Christmas shopping before all those items prices go up and up. I lived through carter but somehow this feels worse.

Democrat politicians are the gifts that kept giving and giving and giving and giving. Unfortunately, all of these gifts and giving requires a lot of taking taking taking. Those who earn get the taking part. Everyone else gets the giving. Nobody wins in the long run. The economy is ruined. It's the Democrat way.

In the middle 1970s until Reagan I remember the misery index of the Carter years. I was younger building my first house, my wife and I traveling to work using gasoline while moving our young kids to nurseries. Our expenses were high and saving impossible. In these times being older our misery index is lower because we are retired just sitting on the patio not using a tank of gasoline for two or three months. Grocery shopping is the only thing we do and do everything at home. I'm not saying it doesn't touch us but it will affect younger people moving around working and eating away from home. Raising children will cost them more and taxes will overwhelm them. Socialism spreading the misery equally that's how it works. Thank a fraud cabal if crooks and misfits heading the government. Washington is a snake pit of do nothings from both parties they don't help or work for the people.

The Biden administration, stung by missing its vaccine targets and the rising COVID-19 cases, has decided to blame Republicans. That’s not surprising. But it’s traditionally Democratic groups – minorities and the young – who aren’t getting vaccinated, and it’s leftists who are the most influential anti-vaxxers on the planet. As Politico reported recently, “the Biden administration is casting conservative opponents of its COVID-19 vaccine campaign as dangerous and extreme.”

After watching Anthony Fauci once again obfuscate, evade and outright lie before Congress about his failures as this nation’s de facto COVID-19 czar, we’re led to one inescapable conclusion: He needs to resign immediately or be fired for incompetence and dishonesty. Fauci’s appearance this week before a congressional panel should be the final straw, even for his partisan supporters in the Democratic Party. Challenged by Sen. Rand Paul, himself a medical doctor, on U.S funding of so-called gain of function research

We imagine tens of millions of Americans want to clean up after a day at work struggling to earn enough to keep up with the Biden inflation. But a quick shower under a healthy stream is another luxury the White House wants to take away from Americans. The current administration announced last week that it intends to force low-flow showerheads on the country that popularized showering, overriding an effort by the Trump administration to give consumers more options and reining in a government that believes it has no boundaries.

As TV screens showed the Dow Jones tumbling on inflation and renewed COVID fears, President Joe Biden took to the podium Monday to brag about how great the economy is doing and why he deserves all the credit. It was a remarkable act of prestidigitation for such an old man. Biden said that “it’s true that the economy was sputtering before I got here.” That’s provably false. He said that: “We’ve gone from 60,000 jobs per month to … more than 600,000 jobs per month since I took office.” That’s grossly misleading.

Everywhere you turn in the media these days, the term “woke” is invoked as a kind of new ideal for “progressive” changes sought by the left in America. But in the latest I&I/TIPP Poll, nearly a third of those responded negatively to the woke trend, including a surprisingly large number of minority and Democratic respondents. The I&I/TIPP poll was conducted by TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence online from June 30 through July 2, and includes responses from 1,424 adults, for a margin of error of +/- 2.8 points. The poll is part of a new ongoing collaboration between Issues & Insights and TIPP

Young adults today are likely unfamiliar with the term “misery index.” But they could soon learn about it the hard way, thanks to President Joe Biden’s economic incompetence. The misery index, a measure started under President Lyndon Johnson, is a simple measure combining the unemployment rate and the inflation rate. The idea being that joblessness and a fast-rising cost of living produces palpable misery in the country. The index has long been forgotten because it’s been so low for so long.

Data have been hidden, truth has been sacrificed to politics, and hypocrisy and personal interests among its “leaders” have produced a giant credibility deficit. President Joe Biden’s disreputable, drug-addled son Hunter recently decided to sell his “art,” which sparked a round of hand-wringing over the ethical implications. Hunter, you see, has no experience as an artist. And, based on the paintings we’ve seen, he has no discernible talent. But Hunter’s “artwork” will be sold at “a private and confidential opening” in Los Angeles, with the various pieces said to be priced between $75,000 and $500,000. This is Clinton Foundation-style corruption all over again, without the pretense of a charity.

Like an unwatched pot suddenly violently boiling over, Havana and other cities have erupted in defiant protests by Cubans fed up with living in their perpetually depressed tropical police state. True to form, the Castroite regime has already reflexively cracked down on the protests with brutality. If they do so, they will get precious little support at home. The poll found that 79% of the public say it’s important “for professional athletes to publicly respect the American flag on the international level,” with 60% saying it is “very important.” Just 16% of the adults surveyed think it’s not important.

A country of roughly 330 million has more than 9 million job openings, and 9.5 million unemployed. This is a disgrace, a clear indication that our American character and work ethic are slipping, a rolling tragedy that’s been authored by the Democrats. Three years ago, before Democrat Joe Biden was the president, while the Republicans still held a majority in the Senate, The Saturday Evening Post wondered if “the American work ethic (has) gotten worse.” “Have Americans lost their willingness to apply their noses to the grindstone, or to work hard for anything they get in life?” The venerable publication concluded “that’s not what statistics show.” Today’s data, however, tell a different story
