Melania Trump responds to ‘inaccurate’ report she

The office of former first lady Melania Trump clapped back at a report published this week claiming she said the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) was “not a war hero” after enduring unimaginable abuse as a prisoner during the Vietnam War. On Wednesday, Business Insider reported that Trump “shared her husband’s low opinion” of McCain’s “military record” as a Navy fighter pilot who was shot down and severely injured before he was captured by North Vietnamese forces and interned for nearly six years.

He was a Hero...for his painful period as a Prisoner, he "Jailed Well". Not due to his prowess as a Pilot. He crashed at least four planes...ask the media that loves him so to name a pilot that shot down that many enemy planes during the same period, they will not have an answer. He is the only kind of "Military Hero" the left will love, one who was a VICTIM of War, rather than a victor.

If you want top see some real disparaging of McCain's war record, just go back to what the Democrats (and some in the media) were saying about him during his Presidential run.

A response is unnecessary. It is ok to trash John McCain. He didn't mind trashing Trump, or running to the FBI to snitch on him for something Trump had not done.

What anyone thinks of John McCin is irrelevant. He is dead. He served in the military which everyone appreciates. It is what he said and did in his later years that make many people take pause about his hero status. You want him to be a hero, ok, He is a fallen hero who sold his soul to gain popularity and sell out all of his alleged values to align with Democrats for only one reason: McCain hated Donald Trump and would do anything to see him fail. He worked against the best interests of the country because of a personal vendetta. That is not what a hero does. A hero would have bit his lip and worked with someone he hated to achieve their common goals of a better country. McCain failed miserably at that so, no, he is not a hero.

Chase Kalisz got things rolling, claiming the first U.S. gold at the Olympic pool. By the time the morning was done, the powerhouse team had a whole bunch of medals. Six of them in all, quite a start Sunday for the Americans in the post-Michael Phelps era. “I’m happy to be here and kick the U.S. off,” said Kalisz, who won the 400-meter individual medley. There was room for others to shine, as well. Host Japan won a swimming gold, Tunisia claimed a surprising spot atop the medal podium, and the mighty Australian women set the first world record of the competition in the 4×100 freestyle relay.

A man showing off his new gun to patrons in a Florida bar ended up shooting himself with the weapon instead, according to reports. The unidentified knucklehead was inside O’Riley’s Uptown Tavern in Pensacola at 11 p.m. Thursday when he pulled out the gun to show it to a man and a woman at the bar, the Pensacola News Journal reported Friday. The man then made a quick motion to put the gun into an imaginary holster under his shoulder when the gun went off and a bullet struck his torso, the outlet reported. “I don’t know if he was pretending to be a badass or something,”

As an athlete, there are certain games that you never forget. Maybe it’s because of a play you made, the energy of the crowd, the stakes involved – or it could be something deeper. One of those games for me came in September of 2011, my senior year on the University of Arkansas football team. We were playing New Mexico, but that’s not why I remember it. We were commemorating the 10th anniversary of 9/11, and War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock had been transformed into a sea of red, white, and blue. America’s strongest ally has decried the ice cream giant’s move as anti-Israel and antisemitic. Florida Gov. They can’t stand other opinions. They can’t. They cannot be allowed to live. The people who hold them must be targeted and smeared. All must bow before the unholy altar of American progressivism. If you can’t convince them, destroy them, or deprogram them. That’s what The Washington Post’s Eugene Robinson and Nikole Hannah-Jones wanted yesterday. Grabien’s Tom Elliott clipped the madness. People who support Trump are mentally defective, so they must be deprogrammed. What does that mean? Sounds Stalinist in the extreme. It also reeks of Chinese Cultural Revolution underpinnings. Those who do not believe what we believe are off to the camps. It’s nothing new.
