A sixth member of the delegation of Texas Democrats in Washington, D.C. tested positive for Covid-19, a spokesperson told NBC News on Monday. Cara Santucci, the spokeswoman for the Texas House Democrats confirmed the case and said the undisclosed member is self-isolating. She initially said last week the delegation would provide daily rapid tests for its members and their staffers who are in the nation's Capitol. But in a Monday statement, she said the delegation will no longer release a daily Covid case count.

Comments:

LOL. The lying Texas two-step continues with a sixth fully vaccinated commie now down with the COVID. They will probably trot out one or two a day to keep the charade going.

Add to this that HHS Secretary Becarra extended the public health emergency today, and the lying little ginger Psucky revealed that there have been more breakout cases inside the WH of the fully 'vaccinated'. Think they are planning to give up on this anytime soon? It goes on and on like a cheap soap opera. And now, Hannity and Faux are pimping the jab, too.

Bust out the contact tracers. We might be able to quarantine every Democrat in DC to "flatten the curve".

Every time they announce another one, it further convinces me that none of them actually have the virus and this is just a stalling tactic so they don’t have to vote. But, I wonder, what does this do their narrative that the “vaccine” is 100% effective?

There are only 2 conclusions. 1) The vaccine isn't as effective as they claim, which begs the question 'Why are they so insistant that everyone be vaccinated?' or 2) There's some democrat politicians who are lieing about being vaccinated, but that being said, lieing democrat politicians isn't exactly an unexpected story.

The United States women's soccer team was just trounced by Sweden at the Olympics — and forward Megan Rapinoe is acknowledging, "We got our asses kicked." Sweden scored a stunning 3-0 victory over the United States in women's soccer at the Olympics on Wednesday, The Associated Press reports. It was an upset after the U.S. had been the favorites to win gold, the AP notes, while Sweden was ranked No. 5. The loss came after Sweden previously defeated the U.S. in the quarterfinals at the Rio de Janeiro Games in 2016. "We got our asses kicked, didn't we?" Rapinoe said after

A fresh wave of pandemic lockdowns like the ones that crippled the country last year loom on the horizon if people don’t wise up and get vaccinated against COVID-19, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell warned. “These shots need to get in everybody’s arms as rapidly as possible or we´re going to be back in a situation in the fall that we don’t yearn for — that we went through last year,” McConnell (R-Ky.) said at a news conference Tuesday, adding, “This is not complicated.” Asked about comments from Utah Gov. President Biden argued that a massive influx of government spending bill will help fend off inflation, in a speech on the state of the economy at the White House on Monday. The White House has dubbed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer plans to bring to the floor this week — and the $3.5 trillion budget resolution that Democrats plan to pass in the coming days without Republican support — the “Build Back Better” package. Biden said Monday that the two bills will help prevent, rather than exacerbate, runaway inflation.

Last week, the CEO of Black Rifle Coffee, Evan Hafer, gave a long-form interview to Jason Zengerle for the New York Times Magazine. I don’t know what he expected to achieve by the exercise, but I’m pretty certain that what he accomplished represented a significant deviation from the plan. The piece framed Black Rifle Coffee as a “Starbucks for conservatives” and promoted the piece by saying that the company was trying to distance itself from some of its customers. Note that Black Rifle Coffee retweeted this tweet and that usually means that the tweet met with the approval of the person sending it:

As summer reaches peak heat, a recent piece in Time magazine on air conditioning exemplifies the rot pervading academia and threatening the nation. Eric Dean Wilson, an instructor and graduate student at City University of New York, wrote about how air conditioning will destroy the planet. His essay demonstrates the confluence of such intellectually fashionable ideas as environmentalist extremism, critical race theory, equity, and the condemnation of capitalism and “white supremacy.” Wilson has no training in climate science or mechanical engineering. Yet he teaches “climate-themed writing and environmental justice” at the City University of New York. Wilson describes his recent book

In news that’s flying below the radar a bit, more evidence of just how corrupt and compromised the FBI has become emerged today. You may recall the much-ballyhooed plot to supposedly kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer last year. Arrests were made in October of 2020, with the claim being that the FBI had stopped the kidnapping plot as well as a plan to overthrow the government. After it came out in the weeks following the bust that one of the participants was anti-Trump and a Black Lives Matter supporter, the story quickly died down. All of this was intertwined
