California Gov. Gavin Newsom says he‘s not worried about a bill meant to combat homelessness exacerbating the problem because the state embraces everyone looking for “new beginnings.” The Democrat made the comment when asked about the possible unintended consequences of signing the $12 billion AB-140 housing bill. Officials are required to “develop a framework for the California Dream For All Program, the goals of which would … [make] homeownership more affordable.” “To the extent that people want to come here for new beginnings and all income levels, that’s part of the California dream and we have a responsibility to accommodate and enliven and inspire, and the California dream

I fully agree with the OP. It would be far cheaper to the economies of cities to charter a bunch of busses, round up all the homeless, and ship them to Cubafornia!!!

Gavin Newsom is not only welcoming homeless people from all over the country to move to California for a new beginning, but also homeless people from all over the world in the form of poor and uneducated illegal aliens. That shows that Newsom and the leftist and socialist Democrats who have been running California actually live in a dream world!

My great uncle left the farm in 1900 and went to California for a new beginning. He worked on the railroad, lost part of his leg in an accident and was in the hospital when the San Francisco earthquake hit. He lived through that, got a prosthetic leg and worked as a barber. For men like him, California was a new beginning. Now, people are beginning to come into my home state who have had enough. I don't see them voting for Governor Hair Gell if he aspires to national office.

A federal judge blocked a West Virginia law banning transgender athletes from competing in girls sports, saying the legislation likely runs afoul of the Constitution. Judge Joseph R. Goodwin, a Clinton appointee, said if West Virginia wants to treat people differently, there must be a compelling reason to do so. “I have been provided with scant evidence that this law addresses any problem at all, let alone an important problem,” the judge wrote in a 15-page opinion. West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice, a Republican, signed the Save Women’s Sports bill in April. The legislation requires the state’s public schools to allow biological females only to compete in girls sports.
