The U.S. Constitution grants plenary power to the State Legislature to oversee elections and choose or withdraw their state’s electors. Attorney David Shestokas, Hearing Officer for the Chicago Board of Elections was a member of President Trump’s legal team. He is an elections and constitutional expert with over 30 years of experience and multiple books published.

Comments:

Interesting take by an actual elections lawyer, who states that USC Article II Section I does in fact give the State legislatures power to recall a slate of electors.

I'm pleasantly surprised - this is a story about election fraud from Gateway Pundit and there is no "BOMBSHELL!" or capitalized superlatives in the headline. I actually opened it and read it. Thank you, Jordan.

The electoral college votes have already been counted. The deadline to withdraw your electors was before they voted. That said, I guess a state can withdraw their electors after the fact, but the move would be symbolic.

#4 - That's a 1948 statute, not established in the Constitution itself. Until that is actually litigated and ruled upon by SCOTUS for its constitutionality, it means little more than 99% of the other nonsense that Congress passes. The Safe Harbor date is artificial. Our founders never intended for a fraudulent election to stand.

Drip, Drip, Drip. Arizona IS definitely the Trail Blazer in proving this Stolen election. They are determined. They have great people who have given up their jobs and daily lives to pursue proving HOW it happened. They have done that in AZ. Now the Legislatures need to step up and do their jobs. This is going cause an Earthquake in D.C. Georgia is already on the way to proving fraud in their state and PA will do the same soon. Democrats are going to throw everything they have at stopping those Electors from being recalled. Never seen anything like it in my Lifetime, but I'm backing the need to do it 100%. It must be done or Stolen Elections will be the norm every time a Republican wins the Presidency. Our Supreme Court had better do their Job when the time comes to call Balls and Strikes! We need a few Republicans to dig deep on each Republican Supreme Court Judge and find out who is paying them off or what they have hiding in their closet that the Democrats know about and are using against them. We need to know what John Roberts has been hiding all these years! We need to know what our new, Trump Appointed Judges are already hiding and that's why they refused to hear the Stolen Election claims that came before them. IF they had done their job and heard the PROOF of what happened, we wouldn't be in this mess now!

Nothing will happen. Arizona will prove nothing. In an earlier article this line stood out"No, there may not be absolute, incontrovertible proof of election fraud.." and that's where it stands. Unless and until that proof is shown nothing will happen. Most people in this country are too busy living their lives and have no clue or desire to follow this kind of situation. And if you can't get or keep the average American's attention to something like this then nothing will change.

Waste of time. Article I, section 4 of the Constitution of the United States has been ruled unconstitutional by SCOTUS. Chief Social Justice Warrior Roberts has ruled that no person or body has standing to bring a case before SCOTUS on this section. It does not matter what the Section says. What matters is the throats of the Members of SCOTUS. They wish to live, so Section 4 has to go. What the Constitution says does not matter. Nothing matters but the personal safety of the Chief Justice.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) on Thursday did not rule out booting Rep. Liz Cheney (R-Wyo.) from the powerful Armed Services Committee amid a partisan brawl over who should serve on the special committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol attack. Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) tapped Cheney, who has blamed Trump for inciting the Capitol insurrection, as her sole GOP pick for the special panel. But this week, McCarthy came under intense pressure by his rank-and-file members to strip Cheney of her Armed Services assignment after the Speaker rejected two of his five picks for the panel: Reps. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Jim Banks (R-Ind.), both Trump loyalists.

Those laws were enacted in Arizona, Iowa, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Texas and Utah, the center found.

Details of the masking discussions were reported by the Washington Post. The White House is weighing these options as the “Delta variant” of the virus is spreading, even among the vaccinated. The report noted that federal health officials are considering whether they would update masking guidance, asking all Americans to wear masks indoors in public places. We’ve all seen this before, as has every leader of every country in the world. A sitting President of the United States cannot put together a coherent answer to a simple question. (snip) Asked an unchallenging question of 12-year-olds and vaccination, he drifted off in the middle of a sentence, and, as he so often does, looked down, got that Deliverance banjo player look on his face, and appeared to be listening to something in his earpiece, and then strung together a sequence of words that were not grammatically related to the rest of the sentence, but which, on their own, were coherent.
