President Biden argued that a massive influx of government spending bill will help fend off inflation, in a speech on the state of the economy at the White House on Monday.
The White House has dubbed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill that Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer plans to bring to the floor this week — and the $3.5 trillion budget resolution that Democrats plan to pass in the coming days without Republican support — the “Build Back Better” package. Biden said Monday that the two bills will help prevent, rather than exacerbate, runaway inflation.

Because massive injection of debt into an economy has never worked before and has always resulted in hyperinflation, this time it will be different.
Sounds like the implementation of socialism to me. It also fails 100% of the time, except this time it will be different because before, they weren't doing it right.

He was a moron BEFORE his brain melted down. Hard to say what that makes him now. But....he doesn't write what he reads.
Completely the opposite of what actually happens. Inflation is CAUSED by massive government deficit spending.

You'd think that a President of the United States would have a little more understanding of Econ 101. Is it possible that the hell that many of us badly want to avoid is actually where we've already been sent?

I must be getting old..... I can remember when our entire national debt was under 3 Trillion..... now it’s a yearly budget. When the “bottom comes out of the tub” as Lincoln used to say, we will take the rest of the world with us. It won’t be pretty.

Not sure what will be worse: witnessing the erosion of a dollar’s value or listening to Biden, Harris and their bootlicks in the “news” media telling us that Trump is responsible for 10% to 12% annual inflation and 10% to 12% unemployment rates as the Fed finally grasps the enormity of Biden’s madness.
Only thing missing at the moment is a ground war in the Middle East or Asia. But give Biden time.

The year that I was born, the national debt was 289,000,000 000. Today its 27,000,000,000,000. The national debt in 1961 is a rounding error in 2021. In 1961, gas was 0.20 a gallon and a million dollars was a lot of money. The US budget 1n 1961 was 80 billion. In 2009, Obama spent 1 billion to develope a web page.

Slo Joe is not strong on honesty, intellect, reason, rationality, and logic. He's a mirror image of the people that voted for him though.
Sadly, most Democrats believe the same thing. Wait until the next time they gas up their car or go grocery shopping, and they will be demanding more free money. The debt clock is at 28.5T and climbing. Its only a matter of time until the nation collapses.
Where are the Republicans in Congress? They are over in a corner wringing their collective hands.
We are so screwed.

Is is possible that Biden has sniffed so much hair that all the gel, sprays, color dyes and just plain body odor have messed up more than a few brain cells? These hair products do not ''cause'' dementia, but they sure haven't helped. In fact, Biden probably thinks the quicker he bankrupts the US, the quicker his buddies in Asia can purchase the entire North American Continent. He'll still get his 10%.
And what #26 said.
