The Milwaukee Bucks won their first NBA championship in 50 years, downing the Phoenix Suns 105-98 in Tuesday's Game 6 of the NBA Finals in Milwaukee.
Star Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with 50 points and 14 rebounds. Khris Middleton chipped in 17 points and Bobby Portis had 16. Phoenix's Chris Paul led the Suns with 26 points.
Antetokounmpo was the first player to have at least 40 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks in a Finals' game since blocks were first recorded in 1974, the NBA tweeted. He became the seventh player to have at least 50 points in the championship round.
Can someone explain how this team with a rayciss slur of a name hasn't been targeted by the cancel culture?

I find it hard to believe that not only did I not know which teams were in the championship, I didn't even know it was happening. I'll have to get out more....Oh, sorry, I'm not allowed to go out yet.

Let the ChiComs cheer. They own the NBA, an anti-American league.

I have not watched the NBA since Larry Bird played, Disney took over and put the league behind a subscription wall, and digital tv showed more than I could bear. The players are that ugly. Their antics, the behavior of the coaches, and owners, all terrible. Then, they abandoned the USA for China. I noticed the viewership is down 30-50% from 2019. I am surprised anyone would watch the woke league any longer. The sponsors are woke too, not really very cool to watch, and frankly, not liked.

This didn't budge my "Give-a-Crap-ometer" even a smidge!! I've got much better things to do than watch a bunch of overindulged, overpaid, America-hating morons chase a ball up and down a court for 48 minutes!

What is this NBA thing? Sounds about as useful as a PhD in critical race theory from a liberal arts school for $200k.

I used to have a box at an nfl football stadium and court side seats for the NBA.
I not only don’t own either, I did not watch a single game of either sport, excepting the super bowl and that’s bc I went to a party.

Pro sports is corrupt, and the NBA is the most corrupt.
100% boycott pro sports.

The NBA season started in November and it’s finishing in almost August. I guess the World Series will now be on Christmas?

And in other news of equal importance: I ran out of half-and-half and used milk in my coffee this morning.

NBA thinking: 'It's mere coincidence that the Finals stretched to 6 games for near-maximum ratings & revenue. 7 would have been too much to swallow.'

The NBA is just another CCP owned business. Every time you watch them you support global slavery to the communist state.

What all the above posters say. The NBA lost me about ten years ago as the players have forgotten how to run a pick and roll, box out, fill the lanes on the fast break, and deny the baseline. Now all they can do is throw up three point attempts and trash talk to each other to appease their Chinese masters. The NFL is close behind in my opinion. What trash!

Wow, spectacular records being set and nobody gives a good cow pie. It's not every day you can see an extra-tall boy stuff a ball into a basket.

Take a deep breath and enjoy. The NBA has taken a huge ratings hit this season. It is one of the lowest ratings seasons in decades. Every time LeBron James gives America the middle finger salute, America changes the channel. The grave train will end for the NBA and it will end up like the Kneepad media. More and more ignored by the US public. Of Course that doesn't matter to the NBA since its real market is Communist China.

The question of “do you remember where you were when the Milwaukee Bucks won their second NBA championship title game” will not be heard very often in conversations amongst friends. I was graduating from high school in Milwaukee when Alcindor and the Bucks won their first title in 1971. Wonderful subsequent effort by this organization in 2021 and thrilling to note but unfortunately the NBA is dead to me. Has been for decades now.

I haven't paid attention to the NBA since the days of Wilt Chamberlain and Bill Russell. Those were epic times between the two. Each had game.

Like #25, native Milwaukeean...used to be an Arena denizen when the team formed and there were "Buck Nights" scattered through the home schedule. Actually attended their first ever home game. I well remember the joy of winning that '71 championship.
When I left Wisconsin I still followed the team, good teams coached by Don Nelson...and then I lost contact with them. Small markets get no media play. I watched this Finals series. Tackle basketball...purely sold on "athleticism". It was entertaining. "My team" won. The players said the right things afterwards. (I found Giannis articulate and thoughtful in his answers at the post game presser.) The urge to burn and loot after tipping a few cars never entered my mind.

As long as it isn't the team LeBoob James plays on, it doesn't really matter to me which team is the NBA Champ.

I haven’t watched the NBA from start to finish since the Boston Celtic won back in 2008. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen were fun to watch. Along with Kobe Bryant on the Lakers. It harkened me back to the 80s when I first started watching. The Bird Magic shows were the thing to see. Along with the 90s Chicago Bulls with the gravity defying Michael Jordan. Now I don’t even care as the league has become a woke subsidiary of the Chicoms. To Hades with the lot of them.
