During a portion of an interview with BET set to air on Friday that was broadcast on Thursday’s “CBS This Morning,” Vice President Kamala Harris responded to a question on whether she’d compromise by agreeing to voter ID provisions to pass voting legislation by stating that we shouldn’t downplay the impact voter ID laws could have. Because to some, voter ID means, “you’re going to have to Xerox or photocopy your ID to send it in to prove that you are who you are.” And many people live where “there’s no Kinko’s, there’s no OfficeMax near them.”

It’s a crisis!! Some dim needs to get a $10 BB grant to set up a copier service that goes to people’s homes to copy their IDs. Oh, might as well just vote for them while you’re there. Yes unbelievable. I’ve seen a man/woman/other in the street video where blacks are asked if they have an ID and know how to get one.

There are plenty of other places that have copiers. Libraries have them and most communities have a library. There are small copy/printing stores in many towns too that are independent stores. I live in a small town and we have a small business owner that does copying and printing.

Hank Johnson, #15. Most US post offices and UPS stores also have copiers. Not to mention that even minorities have computers so it goes without saying that they also have printers. But I guess that if they aren’t smart enough or capable enough to get a photo ID, they probably also aren’t able to set up a printer.

Protests in Cuba against the communist regime and the decades of oppression it has produced have provided a test of will in Florida. While Republicans, both in the state and nationally, are always outspoken against the Cuban government and understand the reasons the people there are fed up, Democrats have attempted to straddle a line that can’t be straddled. Tepid denouncements that refuse to name communism as the problem and distract to other issues do not play well in a state like Florida. We saw the White House try to make the unrest about COVID vaccines, which is not only ludicrous but an obvious attempt

In a remarkable display of how committed the Democrat party is to utilizing the narrative of domestic extremism for their own benefit, Nancy Pelosi is placing satellite field offices for the DC Capitol Police in key regions around the country. When we consider the FBI has field offices all over the country, you might ask: why does the Capitol Hill police need to expand beyond Washington DC? Essentially, what Nancy Pelosi is doing is expanding the federal law enforcement mechanism of the legislative branch into specific areas where they can investigate political opposition armed with legal authority.
