Same old Trump plays Wellington

Like a washed-up singer reliving his glory days, former President Donald Trump largely stuck to his greatest hits when he kicked off his “Revenge Tour” Saturday in Wellington.(Snip)Even his reading of the cautionary tale “The Snake,” which describes a snake biting a woman who saved it from freezing to death,(Snip)He has largely used the snake as a metaphor for immigrants, one of his favorite targets, but it actually works better if one thinks of Trump as the snake.(Snip)He continued to pump venom into American democracy Saturday, insisting that he had won the 2020 presidential election in a “landslide.”

Comments:

This venomous editorial regurgitates the falsehood that President Trump “whipped his supporters into a frenzy and pointed them toward the Capitol” that resulted in leaving five people dead as well as having disrupted formal counting of the Electoral College vote. Like snakes, leftists recoil time and again with lethal force to strike their opponents.

To quote Joseph Goebbels: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

The quality of writing and the depth of thought in the editorial have me wondering if the Chronicle-Telegram poached sub-literate mean girls from a local high school to text it during their mani-pedi’s. There is a distinct whiff of Fresh Kidz and bubble gum to it. I suppose it was written to embarrass Trump and his supporters but as a Trump supporter myself it only leads to eye rolls, sighs and an “oh, HURT me.”

Same old Trump? The say it like it is a bad thing. That is a good thing! Trump remains consistent in his beliefs and policies. He continues to fight for America First and puts the needs of the American people and economy first, others second. That is what he has always preached. That is what he continues to practice. Unlike other political figures. Donald Trump does not change his beliefs and policies to fit the latest fad or in vogue activist platform of the day. He actually stands for something. The people love Trump because he isn't flexible and bends to the will of the crazy Marxist activists to be popular.

WELLINGTON — The Ohio Republican Party estimates 20,000 to 25,000 people attended the “Save America” rally Saturday. Lorain County Republican Party Chairman David Arredondo said he'd personally estimated about 20,000 people were in attendance at former President Donald Trump’s first rally since leaving office. Arredondo said state Party Chair Bob Paduchik confirmed 20,000 to 25,000 attended the event held near the Lorain County Fairgrounds. He said it was a significant number of people, given the nine day notice attendees had for the event. What other personality--former president, rock star or actor--could pull this kind of crowd together on a short notice?” Arredondo said.

With the creation of June 19th ("Juneteenth") as a federal holiday, Democrats have one more claim to be the party of civil rights and equal opportunity for African Americans, though most Republicans also voted for the holiday. That claim has been promoted for decades by a compliant media, academia and high-profile politicians, but the facts say otherwise. From Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 to the mid-20th century, members of the Democratic Party, dominant in the South due to its opposition to civil and political rights for African Americans, were on the wrong side of civil rights.

Vice President Mike Pence may be in the doghouse with conservatives but no one can say there were stories that he was a bad boss or that his office was chaotic, mismanaged, or incompetent. Things are different with Kamala Harris. According to an article in Politico, Harris’s office sounds like the real-life version of Veep, the HBO political satire that focused on the stupid, self-centered, and vicious Selina Meyer, a Vice President whose office was filled with slavish gatekeepers and self-centered staff, all of whom were incompetent. The story rings true. What's more interesting is contemplating why Democrats are going after Harris.
