A Turkish bodybuilder and fitness model who moved to the US to flex her muscles away from her conservative country was reportedly banned from boarding her American Airlines flight in Texas because her attire was deemed offensive. Deniz Saypinar, 26, a social media personality who was the first woman in Turkey to be given status by the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, recently move to Los Angeles to pursue her career and “experience freedom,” the Daily Mail reported. But the ripped influencer got stuck at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Thursday when American Airlines flight attendants took issue with her fashion sense

Civilized people dress in a civilized manner pertaining to what the occasion calls for. That was not and I believe it was done on purpose to garner attention.

If American Airlines is offended by this style, they should take closer look at some of the other styles they are flying. American Airlines offends me.

At least she has the body to wear that kind of clothes.
I've been stuck next to a 250lb lard monster effectively wearing the same thing.

Pretty trashy, but no trashier or offensive than AA flight crew wearing BLM gear.

Kind of unsanitary! Seems because she's Black she thought she could do whatever she wants. Good for AA for shutting her down. I wouldn't want to sit in her Seat after she used it for a few hours dressed like that! Eeeeeuuuu!

Just because they make it in your size, doesn't mean you should wear it! While her attire may be ok for may places, a crowded airport / jet is not necessarily the place to wear a thong disguised as shorts and a bra disguised as a shirt. America may be a free place, but sometimes you need to use discretion.

That is one fine looking woman. That said, her clothing is inappropriate for air travel.

She did look a bit too nekkid for air travel. She would have distracted every thirteen-year-old-boy on the flight. I’m with the airline.

All right, lady. You've got a big butt that you like to show off. You like to wear feminine clothes that "reveal my femininity." Yeah, we can all see that you are a girl (unless you identify as something else). Doesn't mean that all of us, and our children, have to see it all. If she was wearing denim shorts like those in the photo, it's no wonder that some guys (and girls?) would be stirred up in their most primitive impulses. Some women feel the need to show it all off and enjoy seeing men fantasizing about them. She is angry and offended that anyone found her beautiful body offensive? She is too full of herself.

#7, she's not black, she's from Turkey. That counts as white/Caucasian. The outfit is inappropriate no matter what your race, religion, etc.

I'm with #3 I've have flown often and have seen men & woman dressed inappropriately some them big some them small and they've let them on. I wonder if it's all a set up for publicity.

The headline of the original article uses the word CONSERVATIVE as if the Muslim country of Turkey compares with us deporables in the United States.
I have a photograph of 13 teen women hanging from crosses when they were crucified by the Turkey government. Is that what the New York Post is implying?

A rather obvious publicity stunt. This “style” is offensive. In Turkey, they’d probably stone her for this behavior.

A beautiful woman having her gluteus maximus exposed this much is a bit much. Saypinar should consider there are better ways in America to get attention other than sunning her buns. American airlines got it right.

I'm a live-and-let-live kind of gal, but I cannot understand people who have no sense of decorum or propriety. She would still look great in more appropriate traveling clothes ... but apparently that wouldn't give her sufficient dopamine hits.
Self-absorbed, yet utterly lacking in self-awareness. Her narcissistic supply needs constant stoking.

Another "influencer" gets the image and publicity boost she seeks. Here's the deal...from now on I'm dressing exactly like her - bare midriff and short-short shorts. I can tell you, I am not ripped, and it won't be pretty...but I've been influenced.
I have no love for AA, but unless they're installing dance poles, they were right in what they did.

She moved from Turkey to the U.S. to experience freedom, but she moved to California. Well she arrived in the U.S. just in time to see the U.S. move toward socialism, and she moved to California which is closer to Marxism. So she still hasn't experienced freedom.

What passengers wear on airplanes never ceases to appall me. Do these people spend two hours or more selecting the least becoming clothing they have? These people need to get dressed. No, your flab and tattoos are not attractive.

What's the problem? The see thru bra? The bare midrift? The bare backside?
Most likely American Airlines doesn't want bare backsides in their seats.

A ballerina would not wear her tutu on a flight. A pro football player would not wear a uniform, helmet and pads. The young woman in the story should not have expected a planeload of people to look at her nearly-bare rump because that's how she presents herself during bodybuilding contests. She should have exhibited some class and covered herself a bit while in a public setting. Of course, classy people rarely get press coverage these days and she knew that.

A beautiful woman who has the potty mouth of a 14-year-old loses at least 3 points from her overall score. That still doesn't make her ugly. I've seen many hefty girls dressed like this in places like Vegas, LA and Denver so why should the airline take exception to this one?
