America’s first black billionaire, Robert Johnson, is pushing hard for the government to pay $14 trillion in reparations—and he wants his check just like everyone else. “Reparations would require the entire country to… admit that the result of slavery has been 200 years of systemic racism,” the Black Entertainment Television (BET) founder told Vice. “And for that reason, black folks have been denied $13-15 trillion of wealth and therefore we as a country now must atone by paying black people of all stripes—the rich ones, the poor ones, and the middle—out of our pocket,” Johnson told the outlet.

Left-wing Hollywood star Rosanna Arquette has declared she will take a knee in protest of the national anthem and U.S. flag “for the rest of my life.” Her comment comes just days after athlete Gwen Berry turned her back as “The Star-Spangled Banner” played during the U.S. Olympic track and field trials.
Arquette is the latest celebrity figure to denigrate the American flag after pop star Macy Gray called for the flag to be replaced because it represents “divisiveness and hate.”

Vogue, the world's fashion bible, has placed Jill Biden on her cover as the epitome of fashion. She's a "goddess," they explain.
Which is a stretch, given that the first lady has sported getups like this loud red zebra print dress, or these huge-print patterned pantyhose worn with elfin spike heel ankle boots.
It goes to show that its whole schtick is politics, not fashion. After all, the big fashion bible for the world's stylish somehow managed to overlook the nation's truly stylish first lady, Melania Trump, a former super-model, who not only was quite beautiful, but age-appropriate and elegant in her four years as first lady.

IKEA Canada has unveiled a series of colorful couches inspired by different Pride flags, including those representing the transgender, nonbinary and asexual communities. Created to mark Pride Month, the 10 "Love Seats" were created by four LGBTQ designers and feature everything from gigantic ruffles to colorful patters and faux flowers. The Swedish retailer said in a press release that it hopes the campaign will honor "the richness and diversity of the 2SLGBTQ+ community," using an expanded acronym that encompasses those identifying as two-spirit, an Indigenous American term for those with both a male and female spirits. A Washington, D.C., church frequented by President Biden says it won't get involved in what it describes as "a political issue" over Communion.
The Holy Trinity Catholic Church in the city's Georgetown neighborhood, which Biden has attended several times since taking office, said Wednesday it will not deny the Eucharist to the president over his abortion stance or "anyone else who presents themselves."
"The great gift of the Holy Eucharist is too sacred to be made a political issue," the church’s parish council said.

Fox News liberal correspondent Marie Harf made headlines this week when she pathetically claimed she is wearing a mask on planes for the rest of her life. During a segment Tuesday afternoon on the Faulkner Focus, Harf and the panel were discussing most states lifting mask mandates. Harf, who worked for the Obama administration for many years, had quite a hissy fit over the idea of people daring to live their lives without a mask on. Two more Bay Area cities took sides in the region’s long-running crusade against gasoline-powered leaf blowers in recent weeks, with officials in Novato and Hayward moving toward banning the contraptions, increasingly derided as noise, smoke-belching nuisances.
Oakland, too, has vowed to get serious about enforcing its rules against their use.
And the entire war may swiftly come to a head if a state Assembly bill seeking to ban new leaf blower sales statewide wins approval.

America’s most iconic youth organizations–the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the USA–have been jolted by unprecedented one-year drops in membership, due partly to the pandemic, and partly to social trends that have been shrinking their ranks for decades. Membership for the BSA’s flagship Cub Scouts and Scouts BSA programs dropped from 1.97 million in 2019 to 1.12 million in 2020, a 43% plunge, according to figures provided to The Associated Press. Court records show membership has fallen further since then, to about 762,000. The Girl Scouts say their youth membership fell by nearly 30%, from about 1.4 million in 2019

A Donald Trump supporter who refuses to accept the official results of the 2020 presidential election has been banned in all 30 Major League ballparks after being ejected for unfurling 'Trump Won' banners at several games this season.
Dion Cini, 52, has been seen hanging his banners at New York's Yankee Stadium and Citi Field, Boston's Fenway Park, and Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park. In each instance he says he was ejected, but claims he was told he would be permitted to return.
However, Cini received a June 11 letter from Major League Baseball banning him for several recent violations of the fan code of conduct.

It’s shaping up to be a long, hot summer, one filled -- like Yellowstone Park -- with geysers and hot springs ready to blow at any moment. But these are political eruptions, not nature's fury. If I didn’t know that God has things under control I’d be terrified, but in the interest of keeping track of the truth let’s list the top 10 political eruptions we can expect to blow sometime soon.
10. Hunter Biden. (snip) 1. I’ve put in first place China for several reasons. (snip) It’s also becoming obvious that China was behind the pandemic
