Well, Governor Ivey, If you don't step up for Trump now, don't come asking him for his endorsement, or a Rally, in 2022 when you are up for re-election. I would bet the Governor would have some sway in changing the "Commissioner's" mind on this cancellation!

This partisan decision made by a low level state official should be reversed immediately by superior state officials. Following that, the Parks Commissioner should be fired, especially since it appears that he purposely withheld the decision so as to make it difficult to find another suitable venue.

This American thing we had was Revolutionary. God given rights to the lowliest citizen. The Federal System was designed to be a referee between the Sovereign States, and all States contributed to the National Defense from outside enemies. Why does Trump have rallies? If it's about a 2024 Campaign, fine. If we can only see politics, and self governance as finding a King to rule us, we can read about how that goes in the Old Testament of the Bible. Oddly, the Book of the Bible that addresses this is called: KINGS. Been there, done that. How did we get here? Democrats created the 17th Amendment to the Constitution to decimate State power. Yes, Democrats were cheating 100 years ago. We could work to repeal the 17th Amendment, but it seems like we would prefer a King.

Donald Trump has long claimed that investigations of him are a partisan “witch hunt.” Manhattan DA Cy Vance seems determined to make Trump’s point for him by indicting the Trump Organization along with its chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg. The 15-count indictment throws a kitchen sink of charges, including grand larceny, conspiracy, scheme to defraud, and tax fraud. But the whole thing comes down to paying perks to Weisselberg — such as his parking garage fees, tuition for family members and reimbursement of holiday gratuities — and not reporting them as taxable income, or reporting that the wrong Trump entity paid them.

McALLEN, Texas—House Republicans want to make immigration a centerpiece of the 2022 midterms. They can’t do that without fully embracing Donald Trump — a reunion that they sealed on Wednesday. Things are different with Kamala Harris. According to an article in Politico, Harris’s office sounds like the real-life version of Veep, the HBO political satire that focused on the stupid, self-centered, and vicious Selina Meyer, a Vice President whose office was filled with slavish gatekeepers and self-centered staff, all of whom were incompetent. The story rings true. What's more interesting is contemplating why Democrats are going after Harris.
