65% of Dems Like Socialism

Original Article

The Democrat defense against Bernie Sanders is in pretty poor shape. He, AOC, and the Squad have mainstreamed socialism among Democrats. Democrats openly running as socialists keep winning races. Including a mayoral election. And, in this latest poll, 65% of Dems have a positive reaction to socialism. Only 29% have a negative reaction. Among self-described "liberals", 75% like socialism. Only 23% don't. But much of that is driven by a rise in support for socialism among younger people and minorities. When you break it down by race, only 33% of white people have a positive reaction to socialism, while 61% have a negative one.

How in G-d's name did we allow this to happen?? Its failed everywhere its been tried. Even China had to adopt capitalist ideas to keep their economy growing. When I was a kid, being taught the horrors of socialism/communism was the norm. Not all that long ago, being a communist meant losing a clearance and being run out of the military. Communism was and is the enemy of the free world since 1917. More people have been slaughtered, murdered, starved and tortured for communism than any religion or political movement in history. Our schools have failed miserably. And if this is true, the impending second civil war is more imminent than I imagined. With communists, the ends always justify the means.

That leaves 35% that DO NOT!! In races that are being decided by just a percent or two...a 10% flip because Dems went too far left gives a solid Repub house, senate, and the presidency...on top of the majority of Governorship's and legislatures. Likely even some city councils and Mayors offices in "Solid Blue" cities where the total failures are already most readily apparent.Keep in mind they "May" have won the presidency, but they nearly lost the senate and lost a dozen seats in the house. Biden was losing to Bernie until they shut all the campaigns down over COVID and the media ran an all Biden/all he time show on every network...while he said and did NOTHING, just hid in the basement and let THEM Campaign for him.Bernie would have lost Yuuuge...Biden was the selected "Moderate" alternative to the Honest Socialist defeat the Dems faced.

It's probably about the same for republicans. Don't think so? Start talking about phasing out socialist security while at the same time increasing the 401k and IRA reductions in income working people can apply. By the way, SS was sold as a program to make sure elderly widows didn't kicked to the curb if they couldn't afford their rent or house payment. Now? It's factored in as a retirement plan.

Lay this fantasy at the feet of a failed school system. The USSR, Venezuela, Eastern Block, and wherever tried it has failed. The only reason China looks successful is because WE have allowed them to rob us of trade secrets, intellectual property, and exploit their populace. Sanders appeals to our liberal/progressive citizens because they were never taught the truth about Communism/Socialism and on the surface it looks pretty inviting.

Afraid that if people realize what this really is they will not be so supportive? I wonder if you ask these same folks if they support communism what number you would get. Let's try it. Shall we. During a Sunday appearance on New York City WABC 770 AM radio’s “The Cats Roundtable,” Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz reacted to the State of New York suspending Rudy Giuliani’s law license over his claims of fraud in the 2020 election. Dershowitz warned of the “danger” of allowing Giuliani to be disbarred “without a hearing.” He argued that equal justice for all is now “mortally wounded.” “I taught legal ethics for, I don’t know, 35 years at Harvard Law school. I think of myself as a leading expert on legal ethics. I’ve never ever seen a case where a lawyer was essentially disbarred … without a hearing,”
