Paramount+ is set to stream the comedy special Dragging the Classics: The Brady Bunch starting Wednesday in what is expected to be the first in a planned series that will re-visit classic sitcoms with casts of vamping drag queens, according to a report in Variety. The project is the latest drag-themed initiative from Hollywood. On Sunday, Disney+ will host a LGBTQ Pride concert starring drag queen Nina West, with performances of popular Disney songs that will reportedly be re-imagined with LGBTQ themes. The Paramount+ show is a crossover between The Brady Bunch and VH1’s RuPaul’s Drag Race, featuring drag performers alongside original cast members .

Go woke, go broke.
This one is too easy to predict.
Everyone in the Disney approval chain from original conception to final release needs to be fired and barred from ever working on video entertainment again.

They have infested every segment of our society and are aggressively corrupting everything with their obsession. The entertainment media. Academia. Government. Religion. Everything.

I looking out for (1) a TV commercial that does not have a couple (man and woman) of the same race, and (2) a recently made movie that does NOT include a gay or lesbian sex scene that has nothing whatsoever to do with the plot.

I always kind of had a hunch that the Brady Bunch WERE drag queens in their off hours.

Not sure how they could make The Brady Bunch any worse than it was.

I understand that when the Disney+ Falcon and the Winter Soldier series started slipping BLM stuff into the storyline, the ratings went down. Also, Loki is now bisexual and the ratings went down. You might think Disney would get a clue.
In Norse mythology, Loki was a trickster character who would change shapes and in one story took the shape of a mare and gave birth to Odin's 8 legged horse Sleipnir. This could be handled as pure fantasy, but if Disney+ did it, they'd stuff the storyline with SJW wokester LBTQXYZ that had nothing to do with the story at all.
I love Tom Hiddleston and I love the character of Loki in the MCU but I am giving this a pass.

As if tv shows from 50 or 60 years ago were representative of everyday American life. I thought they were ridiculous back then, and certainly didn't represent my world or my life. Shows on tv back then were not so
called reality shows. Most were produced that way because of tv standards back then, such as the twin beds for husband and wife Ricky and Lucy on "I Love Lucy". One leg had to be on the floor if two people were on the same bed at the same time. They could have produced a show with real people commenting on the same shows back then, and gotten pretty much the same reaction these malcontents will display.

Do they really think anybody in their right mind will watch that stuff. And they wonder why people are streaming their entertainment from overseas. I have not watch an American produced sitcom since the Big Bang Theory shut down. Acorn and Britbox are my source of entertainment now.

This slippery slope started with Gay Days at the Disney parks. What does being gay have to do with enjoying an amusement park?
Disney is destroying its brand with anti-traditional events and programming.

What makes them think people want to see this? Sadly, if something gets a million views its considered a success. Never watched the original Brady Bunch, and definitely will not be watching this.
Paramount+...does that mean it can only been seen over the internet? Guess its cheaper to air that way.

More politics in popular entertainment.
In the most basic terms, I don’t understand how who one sleeps with and how is important, or why.
Following that I don’t get angling a national broadcast to— what I think is a matter of fact— a demographic as small as cross-dressers, homosexuals, transsexuals, or viewers who’d be fascinated by seeing them cast.
Although regarding that last, I imagine this might be some form of politically-left virtue-signaling by the network in keeping with one of the favorite Progressive issues du jour.
Returning to the above however it is tiresome that sexual preference and racial identity even play a part in public policy, once actual “institutional,” bias, i.e., the law, has been purged of prejudice.
Sexuality- and race-neutrality rather than advocacy for certain identities over others would not be so bad, would it?
Most Americans would probably consider voting for any black, Latino, Asian, gay, lesbian or any other known quantity of candidate, or pay to see any such entertainer, as long as they were adequately qualified, or talented, beyond their personal identities.
The idea that some preference should be granted to someone for their racial or sexual identity is insane.
Legislating personal opinions isn’t possible, and you can’t railroad people into liking someone they don’t.
Must be tough for Progressives to keep it all straight.

When you are deep, deep in a hole, driving away viewers, stop digging, you idiots.
I already have cancelled nearly all regular TV for decades, save three remaining shows. It was four until NCIS: New Orleans replaced the beautiful and pleasant Zoe McLellan with the obnoxious lesbian from NYC, played by, I have no idea who, and won't look it up. Sorry, that ended it for me on that show, haven't watched it in years, no idea what's going on now, or who's on it.
NCIS LA has been steadily nearing the "off my list" level, bringing in the 105 lb Muslim girl who can beat up any man, which teaches us how nice, normal and wonderful the 7th century barbarians really are. Barf.
Several other favorite white characters have been/are being replaced by non-whites/females in NCIS and NCIS LA, as clearly white male characters are unacceptable on CBS. Nearing my "off" level for those, too. Yes, some women CAN shoot as well as men, but NO woman can fight as well as a big, strong guy, even Kensi, who is a big, strong woman. Close the gap slightly with lots of training....sure, but even on Walker: Texas Ranger at the end, the TINY little 90 lb karate/judo expert female dropping 280 lb buff guys......laughable.
Anti-white, anti-male, anti-heterosexual TV shows are turned OFF.
