At the end of January, reports that yet another COVID-19 vaccine had succeeded in its clinical trials—this one offering about 70 percent protection—were front-page news in the United States, and occasioned push alerts on millions of phones. But when the Maryland-based biotech firm Novavax announced its latest stunning trial results last week, and an efficacy rate of more than 90 percent even against coronavirus variants, the response from the same media outlets was muted in comparison.
[SNIP] If the FDA sees no urgency, the Novavax vaccine might not be available in the U.S. for months.
Uh...no. Not for all the lottery tickets, free booze and weed, or whatever incentive you offer or coercion you attempt. My body, my choice.

Atlantic would be one of the LAST places I would get advice on ANYTHING, especially something critical like health care.
No, thanks. Not getting it. I have spent a great deal of effort understanding these 'vaccines' and all of them are entirely untested on any mammals before this, and I am no guinea pig. And the CDC's own data shows that there are a dramatically higher number of deaths and other serious reactions to these vaccines than have happened with ANY of the old, normal vaccine technologies used up until this one.
Not a chance I will take it, ever.

From what I have read, this is an actual vaccine similar to the ones we got at school in the '60s, not a new experimental version of "vaccine". That said, I don't plan to get it until and unless I am allowed to know a lot more about it.
The msm and powers-that-be not trying to shove it down our throats is a point in favor of this one in my humble opinion.

I'm sure it wasn't this author's intent but the difficulties Novavax has had getting approved and making it to market are a testament to the achievements of Operation Warp Speed. You know--that program put together by Donald Trump.

Fta: The protein-subunit approach used by Novavax was first implemented for the hepatitis B vaccine, which has been used in the U.S. since 1986. The pertussis vaccine, which is required for almost all children in U.S. public schools, is also made this way. Some of those people who have been wary of getting the mRNA vaccines may find Novavax more appealing.
(Also)
Lower rates of adverse events are likely to be a bigger issue still for parents, when considering vaccination for their children.
---
You bet your buttons it does.
Known more tradition vaccine technology that has been in use for decades, fewer adverse effects. That sounds much better for kids.

The clinical trial shows that Novavax is almost as effective as Moderna and Pfizer, with low rates of mild side effects. It can be stored in domestic refrigerators. It looks like a great product, but there is now no urgency for the FDA to grant it emergency authorization, so it may linger a bit before approval in the US, It has an enormous future in Africa etc though.

I agree that the Novavax not putting the mRNA into your body is a huge improvement over the mRNA vaccines, and if I was really worried about this virus, I suppose I'd take Novavax WAY before the other ones.
However, there is substantial indication that the spike proteins, by themselves, are the cause of much of the health problems associated with these shots, and Novavax does use the spike protein.
The Novavax shot doesn't instruct your body to make large, unknown numbers of these spike proteins. Instead it injects a finite quantity of spike proteins, bound into a ball of them, as the vaccine. A finite amount of something harmful has got to be at least somewhat better than your body making unknown large quantities of the harmful thing, but the difference may be small.
Still, the spike proteins, by themselves, are harmful. I don't want them in my body.

I have had no side effects.....nor do I expect any down the road.
Take it, don’t take it....but enough of the incessant harping about bill gates is tracking you, or some other loony internet conspiracy.
