The United States' top general has called on the White House to evacuate all 18,000 interpreters who helped US troops in Afghanistan over fears the Taliban will murder them. General Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, says a plan has been drawn up to rapidly fly all 18,000 interpreters to safety—but the White House has pushed back against his call to use it. Speaking at a US Air force Academy commencement ceremony on Wednesday, Milley said: 'There are plans being developed very, very rapidly here for not just interpreters, but a lot of other people that have worked with the United States.

A decorated Army veteran appointed by Donald Trump to West Point's advisory board at the end of his presidency has suggested that Joe Biden is deliberately bringing in migrants in a bid to change the demographic balance to help Democrats. Colonel Douglas Macgregor, 68, was appointed by Trump on December 8 for a three-year term on the board, which provides independent advice to the president on morale, curriculum, discipline, and other issues at West Point.(Snip)'And again, all of this is part of the grand plan. This is what Mr. Biden and his supporters want. They want another country. They don't want the United States.'

An explosive new study claims that Chinese scientists created COVID-19 in a Wuhan lab, then tried to cover their tracks by reverse-engineering versions of the virus to make it look like it evolved naturally from bats.
The paper's authors, British Professor Angus Dalgleish and Norwegian scientist Dr. Birger Sørensen, wrote that they have had 'prima facie evidence of retro-engineering in China' for a year—but were ignored by academics and major journals. Dalgleish is a professor of oncology at St George's University, London, and is best known for his breakthrough creating the first working 'HIV vaccine', to treat diagnosed patients

New reports are raising questions about how prison guards missed the hours-long sadistic torture and beheading of a convicted killer allegedly at the hands of his cellmate. State Inspector General's Office reports on California lockups raised new questions about the heinous attack at Corcoran State Prison in March 2019. The murder of Luis Romero, 44, has prompted separate investigations and a lawsuit by the family of the victim, the Los Angeles Times reported Wednesday.(Snip) But the family's lawsuit also questions why Romero was in a cell with Osuna, a convicted killer and 'self-styled Satanist' with a history of attacking his cellmates,

The Miami-Dade Police Department is honoring the LGBTQ community with a rainbow-themed patrol vehicle. The vehicle—which is decorated with the colors of the Pride flag and the words “hope,” “love,” “equality,” “inclusion,” “kindness,” “peace,” and also the phrase “strength through unity”—will be used “to establish a more trusting relationship within our communities,” MDPD Sergeant Orlando Lopez said during the unveiling ceremony on Thursday in Doral. “What better way to assist in educating the public about Pride and in promoting engagement between law enforcement and the community we serve?,” Lopez asked, when introducing the “MDPD Pride Vehicle.”(Snip) An anti-hate symbol

Dr. Anthony Fauci once argued that conducting experiments on contagious viruses to increase their potency was worth the risk, even if the work could accidentally lead to a pandemic, it was revealed Friday. The nation’s chief medical advisor wrote in the American Society for Microbiology in October 2012 of the public health benefit to gain-of-function viral experiments—which center on manipulating viruses and making them stronger—as long as there is significant oversight.(Snip) Gain-of-function experiments are the sort of work that was being conducted at the Wuhan Institute of Virology when the COVID-19 pandemic first started in China in late 2019

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said Friday that the Biden Administration is 'looking closely' at requiring vaccine passports for travelers who want to travel in and out of the country. Mayorkas made the comment as 2.5 million Americans prepare to fly for Memorial Day Weekend, and after the White House provided repeated assurances the administration will not impose such a system. Asked if the nation could see vaccine passports either for people coming into the country or flying out, he told ABC's 'Good Morning America': 'We're taking a very close look at that.'

The suspect accused of snatching a sleeping Dallas boy who was later found dead allegedly tried to kidnap another child just months earlier—but the girl’s grandfather decided not to press charges at the time, authorities said. Sen. Rick Scott said Thursday he will block top Homeland Security nominees until President Biden makes a trip to the southern border to get a firsthand look at the situation. Mr. Scott revealed his stance at a confirmation hearing with three nominees, the picks for deputy secretary, general counsel, and undersecretary for strategy, policy and plans. He said it wasn’t anything personal toward the three nominees, but rather a statement about Mr. Biden’s approach to the border. “Until the president goes to the border, I’m going to hold the nominations,” he said. A hold throws procedural hurdles in the path of the picks,

Homeland Security is moving to cut questions about gang affiliation from the application migrants file to get green cards, in a change that one former employee says could mean dangerous criminals will have an easier time getting through the process. Rob Law, a former chief of policy and strategy at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, revealed the planned changes Thursday, saying it appears to be part of the Biden team’s attempt at erasing the get-tough approach of the previous administration.(Snip)

A government probe last year into the origins of the coronavirus found practically no evidence COVID-19 originated from nature, former State Department official David Asher told Fox News on Thursday.
"We were finding that despite the claims of our scientific community, including the National Institutes of Health and Dr. Fauci's NIAID organization, there was almost no evidence that supported a natural, zoonotic evolution or source of COVID-19," he told "America Reports."(Snip) "That was the epicenter of synthetic biology in the People's Republic of China, and they were up to some very hairy stuff with synthetic biology and so-called gain-of-function techniques," Asher said
