Interesting... a friend who was there described this same scenario to me on the day after. He messaged me this: "I stood on the lawn and watched the craziness. It would have stayed entirely peaceful except for the DC police in my opinion. They put on gas masks when the crowd was singing the national anthem and gassed the people up near the stairs and started throwing flash/bang grenades into them then people rushed up and took their masks and gas canisters and stood all around the roof and stairs. I actually helped a CNN news crew leave the scene and my buddy actually helped render 1st Aid to an old Vietnam Vet who was crying after being gassed and kept saying his friends didn't die in Vietnam and he didn't fight for a country that would do this to it's citizens. The presidents speech in no way said for anyone to storm into the capital building and it was funny how DC police were directing us where to go stand. I really hope that people do not lose their fervor or patriotism because of the presidential loss. I wish everyone including democrats would work towards installing term limits and get the rabble out of congress!"

They sure did!!! Everyone there was scratching their heads wondering if the police lost their minds. I'm done with these stupid commissions. They are ran by RINOs and democrats. I truly would love an investigation to find out who at the Capital was responsible for this. IT WAS AN INSIDE JOB. But for a commission like the 911 or the Russian probe, don't waste my tax dollars.

Polosi and the Capitol Police obviously consider us the enemy. So, does that mean we are justified in considering them our enemy? Considering how the peaceful Jan. 6 protesters who were arrested are being treated, how the FBI murdered over 80 innocent men, women, and children at Waco, how government agencies such as the IRS and ATF treat American citizens, with many other examples, I would say they are indeed the enemy of the American people.

So why are Republicans AGAINST the Jan 6 Investigation? We've heard and seen things that DO require answers, things that do lead away from the MSM and Dem narrative. No investigation means that the narrative remains and the Trump supporters remain the 'bad actors', and the Republicans will be painted as protecting them by NOT voting to investigate. Once again WE are left in the dark, blamed, and the air is filled with the stench of lies and misinformation. What are Republicans in Congress doing to tell us the truth when we see and hear things that tell a different story than the already accepted version? What will they do with THIS video?

Not a troll by any stretch and a long time poster here, but I DO ask questions. And another one would be : Why would Republican allow the kangaroos a free courtroom stage to stomp all over us? Is the only alternative to plug their ears, cover their eyes and wish it all away? Who says the rules are that Dems control the evidence and the storyline when other evidence and another side to the story exists? Who allows the kangaroos to call all the shots?

What do we do with the truth? Ignore it? Deny it? Apparently, the videos withheld from public view tell a different story than the left wants to tell. From the stolen election to the democrats Kabuki Theater on January 6th, the truth is there for anyone to see. Reasonable people will make the right decision on these matters. Now, the most important question must be asked, are our Republican leaders going to grow a backbone and demand the truth be told? I am hopeful but in no way confident. I saw parents and grandparents with their children and grand children taking an impromptu tour through the Capitol Building going through doors that are largely kept locked but were mysteriously open that day, taking selfies. What did the media and the Democrats call it? An 'insurrection'. The worst since the Civil War. I wonder if their response was planned ahead of time. All of the media were following the same script. Now we find out the Capitol police actually fired on peaceful protestors. This is the type of crap you expect from the Communists in China and Russia. Not in the USA! These people will take your freedoms. These people will take your wealth. These people will take your lives. Don't believe it? You will.

The fact few can quite grasp is that the two parties are ultimately NOT in opposition. Their goals align, the question then becomes how to bring the populus along. These days the alliance seems to have a deep profit motive associated. China and other nations spend freely for influence. So do major corporations and those on the "richest person" lists. Politics and money are inextricably intertwined. Politics decides who gets what, where and when. The question becomes one of how to dress the pigs for public consumption. If it's taxes, "soak the rich" is a common theme. The common denominator is the public's demand to "do something".

Her daughter, the quintessential CNN watcher, wanted to know why she hadn't seen anything about the rioting anywhere else. This is what we're up against.

Sorry. But I can’t use Gateway Pundit as a reliable source. Sensational headlines and usually little to. All it up. Everyday I see a headline that looks like something to repost, but then I see it’s a Gateway Pundit article and I’m not sticking my neck out publicly with this outfit.

I know a young Puerto Rican man who travelled to DC to hear Trump speak on Jan. 6th. He was totally depressed upon his return because of events that transpired that day. He saw an older woman wearing a baseball cap supporting police being thrown to the ground by DC police and being handcuffed though she had done nothing to antagonize them. This was a set up since the day Trump announced the event.

What they have done to Trump supporters deserves all of them to be locked in solitary confinement for a couple of years. The only one murders was Babbitt. The left has imprisoned Trump supporters for 5 months now, without being convicted of anything. This is not a system of justice. This is a DOJ Gestapo. The DOJ has been ran by Sessions, Barr, and now nobody knows his name, but all of them have one thing in common: incompetent, worthless, who should be stripped of their law licenses.

If you watched the impeachment trials, any Trump rally, any Kayleigh McEnany press secretary update, the Trump daily covid-19 updates, the Guiliani hearings conducted in every swing state after the election and the ensuing media coverage, you already have the answer to those questions. I did and found myself asking if the media I saw were actually there because their version of those events bore little or no resemblance to what I saw with my own eyes and heard with my own ears. Need a more recent example? Just follow the reports from those actually involved in the Arizona forensic election audit and watch the news media coverage (if you can find any.) This type of duplicity has been going on for decades. But since the advent of the internet and citizen journalists, the American people have more sources for news, political opinion and truthful information. The "kangaroos" are large and in charge. They never make a move without an objective, a thoroughly researched game plan and people in place to accomplish their goal. They stick together to lie, cheat or steal. There is nothing they will not do to get or keep power. Everything we see and hear in this country, along with most of our major institutions, is either controlled or heavily influenced by progressive/socialists who vote democrat - on both sides of the political aisle. Democrats feed the mainstream news media a narrative and that is all the American people hear. They tell you what they are told. Why? 90+% of the 'journalists' and political operatives in the news media vote democrat. When they donate, their money goes to democrat party causes. They have a vested interest in the success of the democrat party which is reflected in their reporting. Thus the endless repetition of the approved narrative by all public-facing institutions, social media, organizations and so-called influencers. Unless you seek information outside of the mainstream media, you will not know if what you hear is true or if there is different, equally valid information to be known. As many have stated above, it is hard to believe any (ultimately) multi-million dollar commission will be conducted fairly or reach any conclusion that does not fit the already defined narrative. Any republican who dares to go against that narrative will likely be ignored, censored and/or shouted down by the media. The whole truth about Jan. 6 is coming. Rev. Charles Haddon Spurgeon said that "A lie will go round the world while truth is pulling its boots on." It might be best to nix the commission while the other side of this story trickles out. (But I can't help but wonder exactly what McConnell traded to make it happen.)
