A group of gay police officers is barred from marching in next year’s annual Pride parade, the police organization’s leaders said Friday. New York City Pride has told the NYPD’s Gay Officers Action League that it is not welcome in the parade, said Det. Brian Downey, president of the police group.
NYC Pride had been expected to announce the Gay Officers Action League’s exclusion from the parade early next week. But GOAL preempted that announcement by issuing a news release on Friday night—and it referred to parts of the NYC Pride statement on its exclusion that have not been released yet.

As the body count in hostilities between Israelis and Palestinian rises, so do fears that European Jews will be targeted in a phenomenon that many in the continent call “the import of the conflict.”
That’s what happened when Hamas and Israel exchanged blows in 2014, triggering the worst wave of antisemitic violence in Europe since the Holocaust in terms of its prevalence and scope.
That summer, dozens of men, most of them from a Muslim background and some of them coming from a large pro-Palestinian rally, besieged a crowded synagogue in Paris. For long minutes, Jewish men held the crowd at bay as the attackers hurled heavy objects at them.

We’ve seen a lot of incompetence so far with the Biden regime — from how they’ve completely messed up the border to their failure to understand why they had such a bad April jobs report. We reported how Joe Biden seemed very confused about whether the extension of unemployment benefits was a factor on the bad numbers — saying first it wasn’t a factor and then a second later, saying it was a major factor. Bentonville, Ark.—Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, said Friday that it won’t require vaccinated shoppers or workers to wear a mask in its U.S. stores unless state or local laws say otherwise. Vaccinated shoppers can go maskless immediately, the company said. Vaccinated workers can stop wearing them on Tuesday. As an incentive, Walmart said it is offering workers $75 if they prove they’ve been vaccinated. Customers won’t be asked but rather held to an “honor system” regarding their vaccination status, Walmart said. Workers, however, will need to answer “yes” to a vaccination question in a daily health assessment in order to go maskless,

In his Friday dump, Biden decided to revoke a number of President Trump's executive orders including the one creating the National Garden of American Heroes. This order was a reaction to BLM's vandalism of American statues with the collaboration of local Democrat authorities.
As executive orders go, this was an odd choice to rescind considering that it called for little more than the creation of a garden of statues and the huge list of potential figures included plenty of lefty favorites like Woody Guthrie and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a whole lot of pop culture figures from a particular era from John Wayne to Jimmy Stewart.

The remarkable thing about the multiple crises facing Joe Biden is how quickly they’ve multiplied and worsened. These include, in no particular order:
the Mexican border problem;
the expanding war between Israel, Hamas, and possibly with Iran;
the gasoline supply disruption stemming from the cyberattack on the Colonial fuel pipeline;
economic trouble and warnings of impending inflation.
These sprung up in the first days of his term with an abruptness and progression that has taken pundits by surprise. The administration must have anticipated eventual problems would arise but not so soon nor from so many directions.
The New York Times writes that the fighting in Israel caught Biden on the hop.

“Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will grant clemency Thursday to gym owners in the state who were arrested for refusing to enforce a mask mandate and social distancing protocols at their gym—and will soon pardon all other Floridians who violated local Covid-19 orders,” Forbes reported.
“Former gym owner Michael Carnevale denied a plea deal in March over charges of not enforcing Broward’s mask mandate,” Local 10 noted. Now, he will get reprieve from the governor.
But not just that — all Floridians who violated such COVID guidelines are being pardoned.

The U.S. Army has joined the woke parade in its latest recruitment ad that features an animated lesbian wedding and an LGBTQ pride parade.The new ad is part of the Army's 'The Calling' recruitment campaign that tells the stories of five diverse service members. The ad comes just weeks after a CIA recruitment video featuring a recruit described who herself as an 'intersectional cisgender millennial' was widely ridiculed online. Released on May 4, the two-minute recruitment video, centers on Corporal Emma Malonelord and her upbringing as she is raised by two moms.

President Joe Biden told Americans who have their full COVID vaccine to remove their face masks and his wife Jill, visiting West Virginia, did just that.'If you're fully vaccinated, take your mask off. You've earned the right to do something that Americans are known for all around the world, greeting others with a smile,' President Biden said during remarks in the White House Rose Garden. And a maskless first lady was all smiles when she stepped off her plane in Charleston, W. Va., on Thursday, one of the first to appear in public without a face covering after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced their new guidelines.

The Israel Defence Forces managed to trick Hamas into believing a ground invasion was underway last night and then obliterated their tunnel network knowing militants would be hiding underground waiting to ambush tanks and soldiers, reports in Israel claim. There was confusion when the IDF said shortly after midnight that ground forces were 'attacking in Gaza', and later suggested that boots were on the ground. A spokesman later retracted that statement - saying that military operations were conducted along the border, but no Israeli troops had crossed it. However, the announcement was apparently a well-planned ploy to get Hamas to send its fighters into its underground tunnel system

House Republicans approved Rep. Elise Stefanik to their No. 3 leadership position Friday — officially voting her into the post after Rep. Liz Cheney was forced out this week.The 134-46 tally for Stefanik (R-NY) was nearly guaranteed before the vote took place, given that she went into the meeting with former President Donald Trump’s endorsement and without a serious challenger. Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) had launched a bid, but it failed to gain traction. Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.), who serves as vice chair of the House GOP Conference, was also reportedly interested in the role,

New charts reveals exactly how Joe Biden's inauguration triggered a surge of immigrants arriving at the southern border, despite repeated claims from administration officials that they inherited a broken system. The graphs—showing that border detentions and child arrivals dropped to their lowest level in years at the end of 2020 before rocketing as soon as Biden took office—derailed efforts by the top U.S. homeland security official to deliver a rosy message when he appeared before senators on Thursday. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was forced on the defensive after Sen. Ron Johnson produced his dramatic red chart displaying 'border apprehensions.'

Here are some facts you may not have known. (snip) Floyd died of a heart attack about two and a half minutes before the ambulance arrived. Had the ambulance arrived three minutes earlier, would Officer Chauvin have been charged with murder? Had Mr. Floyd not battled officers, even while handcuffed and on the ground, would his heart attack have happened three minutes later than it did?
Had Officer Chauvin not been distracted by the crowd who was taunting him, or by the two rookie officers who were observing, would Officer Chauvin have been more aware of how long he had been kneeling on Mr. Floyd

There is only one question we need to ask of the elites: Why should commoners behave as if the world is ending when the elites and power brokers do not?
The earth’s temperature is changing. This is an indisputable fact, both in measuring data and using common sense. Of course it’s changing. Despite what is reported by the mainstream media, most legitimate conservatives do not question the idea of the earth’s temperature going through warming and cooling periods. For those that do, they absolutely deserve the scorn and ridicule heaped on them.

The issue of whether the U.S. government is doing enough to tackle international cybercriminals moved to center stage this week after the high-profile attack on a major East Coast energy supplier. Even though Colonial Pipeline has restarted operations, there are still lingering questions about the group that executed the attack and how to prevent future assaults on critical infrastructure. In a news conference yesterday, Biden emphasized the U.S. government's belief that the cybercriminals behind the pipeline company attack are based in Russia – which has become a safe harbor for such groups – but do not work directly for the Russian government.

The Nazis had a Swiss banker and so do the Democrats.
During President Trump’s first year in office, Indivisible, which the New York Times had described as a left-wing version of the Tea Party, launched a smear campaign falsely accusing President Trump of being subject to Russian foreign financial influence.
“Is Trump colluding with Russia?" the leftist group insinuated. "Until we see Trump’s tax returns, we cannot be certain that foreign governments don’t have leverage over Trump.”
Indivisible repeated this slander a few years later when it held a “Nobody is Above the Law Day”, and demanded “full and total transparency” from Trump even while refusing to name its backers.

Apparently, the Biden administration’s policy is to allow U.S. companies that provide vital services to be extorted by foreign hackers.
An Eastern European group of hackers, known as DarkSide, shut down Colonial Pipeline’s computer network late last week, causing gas prices to spike and gas stations in several states to run dry, and the White House’s response was one of casual indifference.

The news didn’t last long in the cycle. But it deserved more attention. Americans don’t need an army of indoctrinated global warming zealots lecturing, hectoring, and harassing them over their insignificant carbon dioxide emissions. They should be aware of what their “superiors” in Washington want to unleash on them.
As reported May 5 by Fox News, “Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and other progressive lawmakers are calling for the creation of a 1.5 million-strong group of civilians

It’s about time.U.S. Representative Andrew Clyde (R-Ga.) prompted outrage this week following his remarks during a congressional hearing on the events of January 6, 2021.
Clyde, along with several Republican House members, is finally pushing back on the Democrats’ allegedly unassailable narrative about what happened that day. The roughly four-hour disturbance at the Capitol, as I’ve covered for months, is being weaponized not only against Donald Trump but also hundreds of nonviolent Americans who traveled to their nation’s capital to protest the final certification of a fraudulent presidential election. Big Tech used the so-called “attack” on the Capitol as an excuse to achieve its long-sought-after goal to deplatform the former president;

What was once old eventually becomes new, from fashion and hair length to music and economics. As they say, history may not repeat itself, but it often rhymes. Today we are seeing events that rhyme with events of a few decades ago. The rhyme is held together by the single commonality of which party is running the country.
This week has the distinct smell of Democrats in charge. We have gas lines again, more cars waiting to fill up their gas tanks (snip) The rhyme these days is something older readers may remember, the “Misery Index”. One can hearken back to the days of President Jimmy Carter

Herman Melville’s novel Moby Dick is one the finest books ever written for many reasons, but the main theme is obsession. The captain of the whale ship Pequod is obsessed with hunting down and killing the white whale, the giant mammal that cost the captain his leg. Despite his having lost the last battle with the whale, Ahab is filled with a terrible resolve that is frustrated by his megalomania, his hubris and overconfidence. (snip) Doesn’t that character description sound exactly like Liz Cheney, just-ousted from her House GOP Caucus leadership slot? She is obsessed, overconfident and hubristic to the point of insanity.

Long before Vice President Kamala Harris entered the political realm, and even before she began her career as the district attorney of San Francisco in 2004, she used to be known for something else altogether.Back in 2001, at the tender age of 36, she used to be known for getting herself some “Mon-tail,” as in legendary TV talk show host Montel Williams.Williams even admitted it last year, writing in a tweet that he and Harris “briefly dated about 20 years ago when we were both single. So what?”“I have great respect for Sen. Harris. I have to wonder if the same stories about her dating history would have been written

President Trump on Thursday released a new statement on the ‘deleted database’ and voting irregularities uncovered in the Maricopa election audit. Wednesday afternoon, it was discovered that “the entire database” for the 2020 General election in Maricopa, showing the “Results Tally and Reporting,” has been deleted! “We have recently discovered that the entire “Database” directory from the D drive of the machine “EMSPrimary” has been deleted.

According to Bush, who serves as Texas Land Commissioner, Cheney should have been less focused on former President Donald Trump and more concerned with President Joe Biden and the advancements his administration has made.
“So instead of training fire on the President, she really should have been firing on Biden and that agenda…that’s what you want out of your leadership, & unfortunately…she didn’t rise to the challenge,” Bush added.
Bush is also the nephew of former President George W. Bush, who worked alongside Cheney’s father, former Vice President Dick Cheney.

A new study found that while Americans are streaming television now more than ever, one in three of them say they are ready to drop Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime because they find their original programs to be subpar.
A survey of 2,000 Americans, conducted by OnePoll on behalf of Tubi, found that 70 percent of Americans say they’re watching more TV now than at the start of the Chinese coronavirus pandemic, according to a report by Study Finds.
The report added that one in three Americans, however, admitted to watching whatever was trending — not because the content was good, but because there was nothing else to do.

Riddle me this: Why would Republicans fall for the Democrats’ age-old ploy of pressuring them into working on “bipartisan” legislation that will only advance the Democratic agenda and damage the nation?
Indeed, what’s the point in the GOP puffing up its chest about ousting Liz Cheney from her House leadership position if they’re just going to turn around and behave like never-Trumpers by caving on President Biden’s agenda? Why would they play footsy with the most militantly leftist party in American history? That can’t possibly be good for America, nor can it be good for their political fortunes, as voters don’t want them to be spineless wimps.

Last year, a website operator for the Florida Department of Health, Rebekah Jones became the liberal media’s new Michael Avenatti when she started claiming she was fired for disobeying orders to manipulate COVID data. And since she was attacking Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, CNN Prime Time host Chris Cuomo eagerly promoted her claims as it provided a distraction from his brother, Governor Andrew Cuomo’s (D-NY) own COVID data manipulation. That was, until he dropped her once she got arrested.
Jones was back in the news Thursday after National Review's Charles C. W. Cooke published a brutal takedown of her claims, actually detailing how and why she was fired.

Child care is infrastructure, according to Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Health-care aides for seniors are infrastructure, say Democratic activists. “Anti-racism” is infrastructure, we’re told. But these things aren’t infrastructure; they’re just things Democrats want funded with taxpayer money.
You know what’s actually infrastructure? Bridges and pipelines. On that front, we’re not doing so well.
The shutdown of the Colonial Pipeline this week demonstrated that our actual infrastructure is vulnerable and that our lives can be disrupted quickly when it fails. Hackers, undeterred by the FBI and Homeland Security officials who are supposed to be protecting critical infrastructure

The CDC has finally basically admitted that if you’re vaccinated, you don’t need to be wearing a mask. Now this has seemed fairly logical for awhile to anyone who understands science. But apparently not to the Biden team, who kept wearing masks despite everyone being vaccinated. As we reported earlier today, CNN asked White House adviser Andy Slavitt why they kept doing this, seemingly sending mixed signals to the American people? Slavitt’s response? Biden is a “very important man.” Alrighty now. So because he’s so “important,’ he’ll just keep doing something that makes no sense? What kind of sense does that make?
