GOP Rep. Cassidy Declares Trump Won’t Be
Republican Nominee In 2024

Original Article

Louisiana GOP Sen. Bill Cassidy made some startling comments this week that certainly make him seem like a typical D.C. swamp politician. During an interview Thursday on Fox News Radio, Cassidy was asked by host Brian Kilmeade about Wyoming GOP Rep. Liz Cheney being ousted as chairwoman of the House Republican Conference over her opposition to Donald Trump. Cassidy, who voted in favor of impeaching Trump earlier this year, bizarrely declared that Trump would not be the 2024 Republican presidential nominee. “We absolutely feel like we need a Republican Party which is committed to conservative values that will bring it forward,” Cassidy said.

Comments:

Thus spaketh another pompous, self-important swamp monster who seems to think that HE is the sole arbiter of who will represent the GOP in the next Presidential election! Moron!!

Maybe, maybe not. My crystal ball isn't as clear as the Louisana RINO. Maybe President Trump is gonna say, screw it, I'm staying home and playing with my grandkids and enjoy my life instead of putting up with that crap again. Maybe someone else will make a better case for replacing Sleepy Creepy Crooked President Uncle Joe and hi s bagman family as well as Horizontal Harris and her fingernails-on-the-chalkboard cackel.

Yet another RINO attack. Let that list of RINOS leave the party! The PARTY is the grassroots who keep getting rope-a-doped by the Establishment RINOs who need to be removed, include Cassady. The grassroots brought in 74 million PLUS voters for Trump. The RINOS are worthless. I'm as conservative as the day is long, but it does seem lately like the conservatives he's talking about are a bunch of practiced, professional losers.Conservatives like McConnell, Barr, et al, slow-walked everything that could have helped Trump's reelection. I'd add that Pence, at crunch-time, didn't have the fire in his belly for a fight. Nikki showed her self-serving side, too. I trust none of them. I'd much rather have Trump than ANY OF THEM! It is beyond time for the definition of what it means to be republican, what it means to be GOP and what it means to be conservative. When you claim to be a conservative republican but don't toe the party line, or adhere to the constitution to which you have sworn allegiance is that what is meant by big tent? We need a party that knows what it is, does what it says and represents we the people. Is that too lofty an aim?

I actually agree with this congressman. According to the U.S. Constitution, President Trump can't serve three terms. After the investigation in Maricopa County exposes the massive fraud of the 2020 election, one way or another Trump will be rightfully returned to the White House later this year. That's the only reason he won't be the 2024 nominee.

I’m on vacation. No TV, no computer, just my phone, my iPad, my kids, and my grandchildren -- although, of course, I still skim the headlines every day. I am also seeing how eerily familiar the way people in another state are living, but it’s another blue state, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Since the trip began, I’ve been struck by the abject abandonment of common sense in favor of rote obedience to absurd rules. We are trained monkeys, following senseless pronouncements that improve nothing. Start with the airport. For some reason, my TSA Pre-check status didn’t make it onto my ticket.

Remember the old 1970s sitcom "Welcome Back, Kotter"? It aired on ABC from 1975 to 1979. The president of the United States throughout half that period was the infamous peanut-farmer-turned-worst-president-ever Jimmy Carter. Perfect timing. Because 2021 is clearly the new 1977. The new version of that sitcom is "Welcome Back, Carter. Except Add Dementia." It stars our current president, Joe "Basement" Biden, as today's hapless, pathetic, destructive Jimmy Carter. Basement Biden and Jimmy Carter are alike in so many ways it's almost surreal.

Rhode Island Democrat David Cicilline is asking colleagues to sign on to a resolution that would censure three House Republicans for trying to minimize the events surrounding the January 6 riot at the Capitol. Censure is a very serious matter. Only expulsion from Congress would be a worse punishment. If Democrats are going to censure Republicans for downplaying what happened on 1/6, what should the punishment be for hysterically overexaggerating what happened at the riot? Cicilline said the Republicans — Reps. Andrew Clyde (Ga.), Jody Hice (Ga.), and Paul Gosar (Ariz.) — claimed the riot was not an insurrection and engaged in other efforts to undermine the “damage that was done.”

Aging hippies have a penchant for recalling the 1960s as some amazing, idyllic moment in time. As Jonah Goldberg writes in Liberal Fascism, it’s “bizarre how many people remember the 1960s as a time of ‘unity’ and ‘hope’ when it was, in reality, a time of rampant domestic terrorism, campus tumult, assassinations, and riots.” Goldberg hits the nail squarely on the head when appraising why aging hippies feel that way. Their “liberal nostalgia” for the 1960s is more about a longing “for victory” than an interest in “unity.” Leftists love the 1960s for the same reason that they love the 1930s, a decade also marred by “political unrest, intense labor violence,

The social media and mainstream media outlets from which most Americans get their news are engaged in a blackout of anything Donald Trump says. This is shocking, to say the least, but Trump is doing his best to circumvent the censorship. Thankfully, it appears that he’ll also be launching his own social media platform around July 4. As I noted, I think he should do something a lot bigger than that, but this is a start. In the meantime, Trump has his slightly buggy “desk,” which he uses to communicate with America.
