Pfizer said Tuesday it expects to do $26 billion in sales this year from its two-shot COVID-19 vaccine alone. The estimate assumes that Pfizer will deliver 1.6 billion doses of its COVID-19 vaccine in 2021.(Snip)“Based on what we’ve seen, we believe that a durable demand for our COVID-19 vaccine—similar to that of the flu vaccines—is a likely outcome,” CEO Albert Bourla said on a conference call with investors.

The Democratic Party has always been a racist party. Any interested person who has studied the internal workings of this duplicitous faction is aware of its racist history, its elitist framework, its systemic arrogance, hypocrisy, and intellectual dishonesty -- and, more disturbingly, of its brightly lit scaffold of democratic pretensions. But the most disheartening effect of its propaganda is that millions are drawn to its superficial rhetoric of "social justice" in the hope of finding moral certainty in the sewers and waste pits of a despotic ideology of power. Racism is a structural injustice deeply embedded within the politics and language of the Democratic Party.

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer who was convicted last month of killing George Floyd, filed an appeal for a new trial on Tuesday. The request, filed by Chauvin’s attorney Eric Nelson, alleges that the former police officer’s ability to have a fair trial was affected by pretrial publicity. It also claims that the court abused its discretion by refusing to grant requests for a change in venue outside of Minneapolis and a new trial. The filing says that due to the court’s failure to sequester the jury or “admonish them to avoid all media,” jurors were subjected to prejudicial publicity and “jury intimidation or potential fear of retribution.”

Michael Rectenwald got himself chased out of New York University when the self-identified communist copped to tweeting against trigger warnings, safe spaces and bias reporting under the pseudonym "Deplorable NYU Prof." The professor left two years ago with a golden parachute — the result of a legal settlement with the private university that included a retirement package. He's not content anymore with just writing polemical books and fiction in retirement. Now Rectenwald is scouting for academics to join an educational startup, American Scholars, that is launching this summer.

Those who feel that “systemic racism” still exists in the U.S.A. today cannot give convincing examples of it and completely ignore the undeniable success of the South’s black civil rights movement. This struggle can be traced back to December 1955 when Rosa Parks, a black woman member of the NAACP, sat down in the “For whites only” area of a segregated public bus and refused to give up her seat. This spontaneous act sparked the growth of a massive movement within the black Christian churches to eliminate all forms of racial segregation laws in America. In time, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a black Baptist minister

President Biden and first lady Jill Biden visited former President Jimmy Carter and former first lady Rosalynn Carter at their home in Plains, Georgia, on Thursday, Biden’s 100th day in office. The Jimmy Carter Presidential Library released a photo of the visit, and presidential historian Michael Bechloss posted it on social media Monday night. The photo saw both Bidens appearing to loom large over the Carters who were pictured on sitting on two living room chairs. All four were pictured without face masks – despite Joe Biden insisting that he wears a mask while outdoors even though he has been vaccinated against COVID-19.

As jurors begin the process of cashing in on fame and fortune, one of the twelve tasked with interpreting three weeks of intricate, conflicting evidence – a process that would determine a man’s freedom or incarceration – claimed that the verdicts could have come back in about twenty minutes. The only holdup was helping a single jurist (who is praying their identity isn’t revealed) decipher one aspect of jury instructions.

Jamaal Bowman, and others who are demanding Trump be immediately convicted in the United States Senate,” reads the first demand on the BLM website.

In the run-up to the 2020 elections, we were bombarded with stories about Republicans who were not only opposed to Donald Trump’s reelection but were actively campaigning on behalf of Joe Biden. These Republicans didn’t just express disdain for Trump, they sang Biden’s praises, calling him a uniter, a reasonable centrist, an honest man, someone who’d reach across the aisle “to get things done.” Now, after Biden’s first 100 days in office, we can see how well those promises have held up. Our judgment in three words: Not. At. All.

Failed special election Democrat candidate Jana Lynne Sanchez has sounded the alarm that 2022 “could be a major setback” for Democrats if they lose their slim majority in the House of Representatives. Sanchez, after not receiving enough votes last Saturday to make the special election runoff, has a very strong message for the Democrats. Sanchez lost by fewer than 400 votes to come in third place. Republican candidates did extremely well, edging out the rest of the field. Sanchez said the Republicans received an overwhelming majority (62 percent) of the total voters. Sanchez continued to say, “all the things I thought would have motivated Democrats” to come and vote failed.

The outcome of a special election in Texas held on Saturday was covered yesterday by my RedState colleague Bonchie. The special election in Texas’ Sixth Congressional District on Saturday was not caused by a safe incumbent departing Congress to join the new administration. That dynamic exists in a handful of districts where Democrat incumbents have left to join the Biden administration, and it would be a true shocker for any of those “safe” seats to change parties in the special election. The need for a special election in Texas 6 was caused by the unexpected death of Republican Ron Wright in February

In the span of a month we’ve come full circle on election reforms — actual reforms, not the Democrats’ monstrosity that’s merely advertised as such. That unconstitutional power grab is going nowhere. Kansas’ legislature has just overridden its governor’s veto and put into law a set of election reforms similar to those that just weeks ago Joe Biden declared were “Jim Crow on steroids.” Biden would know these laws are nothing like Jim Crow, if he still had all his mental faculties, because he was around for Jim Crow. Biden happily cavorted with segregationist Democrats when it suited him. And Jim Crow was a Democrat policy.

But the negative poll number for Biden, which contradicts the media’s narrative, did not stop ABC News from writing the headline, “Country optimistic after Biden’s 1st 100 days: POLL” with the subtitle reading, “Nearly two-thirds of Americans say the country is headed in the right direction.”

As we worked our way through the trial of Derek Chauvin in the killing of George Floyd, the voir dire process nearly drew as much attention as the trial itself. Given the wall-to-wall coverage the entire saga generated in news reports across the nation, finding more than a dozen people who were sincerely unbiased and (hopefully) not all that familiar with the story was always going to be a challenge. There were also concerns from BLM supporters that there would be (presumably racist) white jurors who would hold out for a deadlocked jury. Hundreds of millions of Chinese consumers had a surprise discovery last week: Their TV sets know a lot more about them than they'd ever thought, or ever agreed to. It turns out Beijing-based Gozen Data, a leading Chinese TV viewership analytics firm, has been collecting personal data in real time using smart TVs — without users' consent. The practice was first exposed when a user on V2EX, an online forum for tech enthusiasts, noticed their Skyworth-brand smart TV had become slow and analyzed the code of back-end programs to figure out why. What they found was a program that scans the user's Wi-Fi every 10 minutes.
