Coca-Cola has pressed pause on a controversial “diversity plan” after what Fox News described as an “intense backlash,” and the company’s general counsel, Bradley Gayton, who authored the plan, has now abruptly resigned. As The Daily Wire reported back in February, “Coca-Cola debuted a new policy this year implementing a diversity quota for the outside counsel it retains, saying it will only hire law firms that commit to providing 15 percent of billed time from black attorneys, higher than the percentage of African Americans in the U.S. population.”

Haven’t had a coke since and have no plans to start again or go back to watching Fox News for that matter. Besides Pepsi is just as good (ice cold!), My golly, how stupid these woke corporations are.

Oh, #6, please don't forget that Pepsi were huge supporters of BLM and gave them millions of dollars last year. I can safely say none of those dollars came from our house once we knew that.

When are businesses going to learn to stick to what they intended in the first place? Take this advice from a customer. If you are selling a product, sell a product. If you are providing a service, provide a service. Please do not use my account for social causes or charitable causes. I am not your employee. You are not my CEO or Pastor. I read my Bible to be a better person and give cheerfully on my own. In society, these lines have been blurred for a long time and I am speaking up. It started last year in May or June 2020. Kohl's contacted me through my account information to send me a social message. Yet, the prior year I had called customer service to talk to them about a situation concerning discrimination. The manager hung up on me. Since then, I have cancelled my account with Kohl's and shop there infrequently. The stuff I purchased there recently fell apart. So, I am sticking to my belief about businesses. . .

Clearly, there is still a lot of good old American spirit out there. Regardless of what the media tells us, we are not going to be brainwashed by the woke crowd. Some will but they are the kind of people who go through life never watching the news or understanding why it is important to be informed. Those are becoming less and less because the woke monster is in everyone’s face and we don’t like it. Americans expect to be left alone to live our lives, but this group of communist yahoos believe they have the power and right to tell us how to live out lives. It is not going to happen. Thankfully, people are stepping up and taking these woke-mongers head on. It is music to my ears to hear these companies back away from the foolishness they are promoting in order to be in with the in crowd. I don’t believe they understand that the in crowd is a minority in the country. Sure, they are a loud one but in numbers they do not measure up. Remember that. We are the majority. Coke and the rest of the woke companies are killing their brand and its a beautiful thing to behold. Maybe some CEO sitting in a high rise somewhere will take note and refuse to go down the woke road. We can only hope.

I do have an additional comment. My stance on businesses apply to Hollywood and some churches as well. I think messages have become so blurred through the years that Hollywood thinks they should be telling American citizens how to think and what to do. Sorry but your business is about tv and movie entertainment. Leave it at that. As for some churches, the message has become blurred there too. We need more people opening up their Bibles and reading His word. It seems that some church Pastors feel they should be telling us how to think and act. That is a slippery slope especially if they are trying to go woke. No, that is God's job. He REALLY does want to work with us on an individual basis! Thanks to all of the posters commenting about soda. I hardly ever drink coke or pepsi anymore unless there is no choice. I like root beer or white soda. A party that tells most voters they’re “racist” and says those same ordinary people must be cleansed of their “systemic racism” and delusions of “white supremacy” shouldn’t have to wonder why people don’t like them very much. But the Democrats keep doubling down — as they did with Harris.

At the “Big Screen is Back” initiative on Wednesday, Arnold Schwarzenegger and J.J. Abrams joined fellow filmmakers and Hollywood studio executives in an effort to motivate a return to the theater-going lifestyle. As reported by The Associated Press, the event was socially distanced and held at AMC Century City 15 theater in Los Angeles. Before speaking, Schwarzenegger chanted, “We are back! We are back!” He described the importance of getting movie theaters back into commission and creating the experience of attending a movie in theaters once again. “Now it’s time to get back to the big screen,” Schwarzenegger told the audience.

President Biden promised to help Palestinians who lost their homes during 11 days of Israeli strikes on Gaza as he offered prayers Friday for a ceasefire to hold. During a press conference to mark the visit of South Korean President Moon Jae-in, he insisted he remained committed to Israeli security. But he struck a careful balance between both sides as he announced plans to help Palestinians in Gaza rebuild their lives so long as Hamas militants, who rained rockets on Israel, were not able to rebuild their armaments. 'I am prepared to put together, and am going to attempt to put together, a major package

Democrats have been flogging the image of Kamala Harris for more than six months, trying to show Americans why she should be popular, and the public isn’t buying it.The efforts and the expectations of success by Democrats say a lot about the party and their myopic view of the voters, which has cost them dearly during the last three national elections. A party that tells most voters they’re “racist” and says those same ordinary people must be cleansed of their “systemic racism” and delusions of “white supremacy” shouldn’t have to wonder why people don’t like them very much. But the Democrats keep doubling down — as they did with Harris.

Washington—President Joe Biden will host George Floyd’s family at the White House Tuesday to mark the first anniversary of his death at the hands of a white Minneapolis police officer, White House officials confirmed Friday evening. Earlier in the day, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the president would mark the anniversary of Floyd’s death, but offered no further details on his plans.(Snip) Biden's plans to host Floyd's family come, however, as talks focused on the police reform bill named after Floyd—the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act—have stalled on Capitol Hill. A critical race studies and ethnic studies professor at the University of Colorado-Boulder says Americans wondering why Black citizens commit anti-Asian hate crimes have an answer: “White supremacy.” The educational watchdog Campus Reform spotlighted the commentary of Jennifer Ho, which preceded President Biden’s newly signed legislation aimed at combatting hate crimes against Asian Americans. “Anti-Asian racism has the same source as anti-Black racism: White supremacy,” Ms. Ho wrote for The Conversation. “So when a Black person attacks an Asian person, the encounter is fueled perhaps by racism, but very specifically by White supremacy. White supremacy does not require a White person to perpetuate it.”

Hollywood actresses have been speaking up about how they really feel about performing on-screen sex and nudity. Spoiler alert: They hate it. Actress Salma Hayek recently opened up to Dax Shepard, host of the Armchair Expert Podcast, about her experience filming the iconic sex scene in her first film Desperado: “I started to sob and kept saying, ‘I don’t know that I can do it.’” She remembers holding onto the towel wrapped around her. “I would take it off for two seconds and start crying again.” And Hayek is not the only one. Dozens of actresses have gone on record detailing traumatic experiences they had while filming sex scenes.

Oregon has gone from a liberal hell hole to 1930s Germany overnight. The Oregon Health Authority is now requiring businesses and religious institutions to enforce mask mandates by forcing people to show proof of vaccination. The CDC last week updated its mask guidance and said fully vaccinated people no longer need to wear masks indoors. In order to prevent the unvaccinated from walking around unmasked, Oregon health officials are now creating a caste system by marking the unvaxxed lepers. “Businesses, employers and faith institutions now have the option to adjust their masking guidance to allow fully vaccinated individuals to no longer wear a mask in their establishments,” OHA’s website said.

Judge Roseann Ketchmark of the District Court of Western Missouri ruled against the College of the Ozarks, a Christian college which had sued President Joe Biden’s administration over its transgender discrimination policies, lawyers representing the school said Wednesday evening.

Donald Trump was one of the best American presidents in years for workers and labor. Protecting the interests of American workers and bringing jobs back to America was at the very center of his campaign and presidency. In spire of this, the nation’s largest steelworker union decided to endorse Biden in 2020 for some reason. Now the very same union is begging Biden to keep Trump’s tariff on foreign steel in place. Reuters reports: Steel industry groups urge Biden to keep tariffs in place after EU truce

The two jail employees tasked with guarding pedophile Jeffrey Epstein the night of his suicide in a Manhattan jail have admitted to falsifying records—but will skirt time behind bars under a deal with prosecutors. Tova Noel and Michael Thomas admitted that they “willfully and knowingly” lied on forms stating that they’d made the required rounds checking on inmates the night of Epstein’s August 2019 suicide. Prosecutors said the guards were sleeping and surfing the web when they should have been monitoring the maximum security federal prisoner, who had recently been on suicide watch at the Metropolitan Correctional Center.(Snip) Instead, the disgraced duo will

It seems like a crazy urban legend: In China, drivers who have injured pedestrians will sometimes then try to kill them. And yet not only is it true, but it’s also fairly common; security cameras have regularly captured drivers driving back and forth on top of victims to make sure that they are dead. The Chinese language even has an adage for the phenomenon: “It is better to hit to kill than to hit and injure.” In contrast in our country, BLM regularly blocks roads and in most situations, the drivers are the ones that took the hit.

CNN host Don Lemon slammed the Republican party on CNN Friday, saying that they are not “operating in reality” and are “obsolete.”“Well, right now, the person who is in the White House is a Democrat,” Lemon said. “The people who are in charge of Congress are Democrats. The people who are in the majority, slightly, in the Senate, are Democrats. The only party, now, that is operating in reality, is the Democratic party.” “The Republican party is obsolete,” he continued. “The Republican party is not dealing and living in reality. So, you cannot negotiate with a party that doesn’t operate on logic.”
