A juror in the trial of Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer found guilty in the 2020 death of George Floyd, failed to disclose that he attended an event attended by Floyd’s relatives last year, raising questions of impartiality, according to legal experts. (Snip)One of the 12 jurors who deliberated at the trial, Brandon Mitchell, a 31-year-old high school basketball coach (Snip) told news outlets in Minneapolis that on Aug. 28 last year, he attended a march in Washington where Floyd’s siblings were present. A photograph from the event showed Mitchell wearing a black T-shirt with a picture (Snip) emblazoned with the words “Get your knee off our necks,”

Comments:

I didn’t think he admitted it. Just thought the photo had turned up, then he had to answer for his action.

August 28, 2020: Thousands are gathered in Washington DC to commemorate the 1963 civil rights March on Washington and in protest of police violence. The families of black Americans shot or killed by police will speak at the same site where Martin Luther King Jr delivered his I Have a Dream speech. Friday's event is called the Commitment March: Get Your Knee Off Our Necks, a reference to George Floyd's death. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-53949460

The picture emerged when someone thought it was now safe to show it. So what other events did this juror attend that should have been disclosed? For that matter - how many other jurors shaded their answers making them appear to be impartial when they were really in the tank for the prosecution?

no, no we don't seem to understand all of the increments of this story. this juror is entitled to do whatever he wants because he is in the protected class of United States citizens. we have lost our direction and the politicians are responsible for the erosion of our government and our way of life. there are too many vested interests and not one scintilla of duty to country, anymore.

Mr. Mitchell, like other Democrats and "right thinking people" can perjure themselves in TV, in writing, in interviews, whatever, and absolutely nothing will ever happen to them. The dual system of justice was cemented into US Law, when Hillary Clinton shamelessly and quite publicly destroyed her hard drives and other documents belonging to taxpayers, and absolutely nothing happened to her or her staff. John Brennan, James Clapper, Susan Rice, Samantha Powers, all flamboyantly perjured themselves, and no 6am FBI raids for them. FISA court documents submitted by the DOJ were tantamount to perjury and not a single thing happened to anyone. Oh yes, I believe, some FBI xerox operator was indicted by Barr's special counsel. But I'm sure, that criminal has gotten a big job with some law firm. Speaking of Barr's so-called special counsel, is he still working in that moldy, rat infested basement looking for evidence of fraud and lying in the Russian collusion case? Anyone remember his name? Durham, Doorun, Doofus? So, Mr. Mitchell will get a big book contract and the new and improved United States Marxist system of justice will prevail.

The entire establishment hung (npi) Derek Chauvin out to dry. There was no chance that Chauvin got a fair trial. No sequestration of the jury. Lying jurors. Retry Chauvin. Move the trial out of Minneapolis. At worst Chauvin committed manslaughter, not murder.

During a portion of an interview aired on Thursday’s “NBC Nightly News,” Rep. In 2016 influential political leaders, activists, and media outlets in Los Angeles said they had a simple solution to homelessness: build more housing. Echoing an argument heard across the country, they claimed that rising rents have thrown people onto the streets and that by directly providing free “permanent supportive housing,” cities can reduce the number of people on the streets and save costs on emergency services. In response, 77 percent of Los Angeles voters approved a $1.2 billion bond for the construction of 10,000 units for the city’s homeless. That commitment made Los Angeles the most significant testing ground for the “Housing First” approach that has become the dominant policy idea

It’s hard to find a good historical parallel for what America is undergoing. Yes, it’s a revolution, but in key respects one very unlike those with which we’re historically familiar. For one thing, there’s been no sudden seizure of power. Our revolutionaries have slowly percolated their way to the top. But even more curious is the fact that while previous revolutionaries (Snip)all professed love for their countries’ common people, ours accuse them of systemic villainy. Yet if one shifts the analogical frame, this last curiosity clarifies. America’s current revolution is less like that of France or Russia and more like what the African or Asian lands under British and French

President Joe Biden's proclamation of the annual National Day of Prayer failed to include the word 'God', an omission that is drawing criticism from some religious leaders. Biden, a devout Catholic, typically ends his public remarks with the phrase 'May God bless you all, and God protect our troops' - but his proclamation for Thursday's Day of Prayer contained no such acknowledgement of a higher power. 'Prayer has nourished countless souls and powered moral movements — including essential fights against racial injustice, child labor, and infringement on the rights of disabled Americans,' the proclamation read in part.
