New scene from Disneyland's Snow White
ride is prompting backlash

Just days after Disneyland has reopened with an update to its Snow White attraction, the move is already receiving backlash. [SNIP] However, it's the "true love's kiss" grand finale between Snow White and her prince that is drawing scrutiny from the San Francisco Gate. "The new grand finale of Snow White's Enchanted Wish is the moment when the Prince finds Snow White asleep under the Evil Queen's spell and gives her "true love's kiss" to release her from the enchantment," the outlet writes. "A kiss he gives to her without her consent, while she's asleep, which cannot possibly be true love if only one person knows it's happening."

A tender kiss by a man to awaken an enchanted woman is problematic because no consent was granted. This, from a place where it's laudable for perverts to read twisted stories to preschoolers, and where someone who knowingly infects an unwitting men's room hookup with HIV is guilty of no crime. And here I thought they'd bemoan the lack of Coal Black to offset the whiteness.

The tragic irony of 'Someday My Prince Will Come' in the era of woke love. Without the 'problematic' kiss Snow White is condemned to undead stasis for eternity.

So I suppose it would be better to let her die than to wait for consent that would never come. Typical woke logic.

When Siegfried kisses a sleeping Brunhilda to wake her it's the first time either of them got into smooching. What is the woke way to awaken a sleeping beauty? Tickle her feet? I'd be much more worried about Snow White living with those seven midgets. What's up with that? At least Dopey made it to the White House.

They don't know about all the other stuff these people are objecting to because they're LITTLE KIDS! And now they object to Song of the South! Who doesn't love Zip a Dee Doo Da and Bluebirds flittering about? I'm almost 80 and I still would watch at sweet movie! So...the one-sided kiss transforms a lifelong victim of human slavery, who happens to be in a perpetual, drug-induced coma, into the topmost member of the most privileged social caste of her day, and a lifetime of luxurious living...and that's a bad thing? We might have known that Katie Dowd had a history. https://fortune.com/2015/06/01/meet-the-woman-behind-hillary-clintons-twitter-account/ I read the SF Gate article. The most sterile piece of leftist rubbish … These two biddies thought the ride was too scary for kids. The Snow White story was scary. When I saw the movie as a kid I was terrified. Part of the deal. That is when children learn the difference between fantasy and reality. Read about Julie Tremaine. She is a freelance food and travel writer who writes for numerous publications, and she absolutely LOVES Disneyland. Writes a Disneyland Newsletter and is clearly crazy about the place. Thus, I have determined that Hillary’s Katie Dowd is the Grinch who found all the things to object to. San Francisco and its media do not reflect California. Most of us view San Francisco as an alien place, not part of Real California. We haven’t been wrong yet.

If Disney changes the scene to maybe Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, or Princess Jasmine kissing Snow White would it be ok then? As long as it not a Heterosexual White Male kissing the woman to save her life, a girl kissing a girl would probably be allowed these days without question. They would probably nominate Snow White for an Oscar for Best Animated Picture if they changed the ending to a girl on girl kiss. They should also make the Seven Dwarves (need to change that terminology also) into seven gay men living together in a communal safe space to make the movie acceptable.

Like his predecessors, the museum will also make a wax figure of President Joe Biden. Hundreds of millions of Chinese consumers had a surprise discovery last week: Their TV sets know a lot more about them than they'd ever thought, or ever agreed to. It turns out Beijing-based Gozen Data, a leading Chinese TV viewership analytics firm, has been collecting personal data in real time using smart TVs — without users' consent. The practice was first exposed when a user on V2EX, an online forum for tech enthusiasts, noticed their Skyworth-brand smart TV had become slow and analyzed the code of back-end programs to figure out why. What they found was a program that scans the user's Wi-Fi every 10 minutes.

Jordan Burnette, 29, faces 42 charges over a string of attacks on Jewish places of worship.
