The Grieving kin of 16-year-old Ma' Khia Bryant who died after being struck by an Ohio cop’s gunshots on Tuesday believes the foster family system failed her and is looking to sue. The family has already started the process of consulting with an attorney and plans on moving forward to take legal action. "Someone has to be held accountable," the late teen’s cousin, Deja Torrence, said in an interview with Insider, without being specific as to who that might be. "The family just doesn't want this to be another senseless killing that goes under the rug and gets overlooked."

Ma'Khia's family (mother, father) failed her. They should be held accountable and no one else. Why were they not raising her at home and teaching her values to live by? One of the most important things is, don't get in street fights and pull a knife and try to kill someone. This is another case where the mother cares more about her child when the child is dead and how much money she can exhort. Sleezy vulture lawyers are also to blame.

Too bad the girl is dead and can't sue her worthless excuse for a mother. For every "bad seed," there are thousands who are ruined by bad or indifferent parenting. Although this case was a "good shoot," it might not have happened had Ma' Khia Bryant grown up in a family that had imparted decent values and a sense of personal responsibility.

FTA: “ Despite dropping her knife as the cop commanded her, Hazel said Ma’Khia was still shot multiple times and by the police officer.” This is the first time I have heard this! I have watched the video several times and did not see her drop the knife. She was going full bore with the knife in her hand. At no time did she even slow down. I don’t believe she dropped it. Anyone else have a different take on this?

I know someone who adopted her drug-addled sister's two children when the sister couldn't take care of them as very young children. They've been a non-stop disaster since she took them in. Burned up lots of money and yet still violent and uncontrollable. I'm guessing the drugs the sister used while pregnant damaged their brains. I'm convinced one will end up in prison after murdering someone. The other will probably end up living a marginal existence at best, and be a drug-addled street person at worst.

You can bet when this kind of thing happens, the family gathers to tell lies and sue. The whole article is poorly written. Bottom line: the video tells the tail, not "Aunt Hazel."

This 320-pound teen was trying to stab another girl to death. Have you seen what it looks like when a patient is brought to the ER, dying, with a stab wound to the center chest involving the aorta or the heart? For one thing, such a wound is not survivable, although the stabbing victim might remain conscious for several minutes, screaming, until he bleeds out, loses consciousness, and the screaming stops, along with his heartbeat. Dead. Terrible, terrible way to die. Her family neglected this young woman. She turned feral and tried to kill someone. The policeman who shot her saved the life of the girl she was trying to stab. It's a shame that these evil, out of control kids didn't get any upbringing, and it's a sin for their families to be benefiting from lawsuits. Incidentally, the idea that the cop should have tried to wing her or shoot her in the leg is plumb crazy. You shoot to stop a deadly threat as quickly as possible. That means to aim for upper center chest. A wounded suspect still might be able to continue her attack. Shoot until she isn't a threat. Then stop shooting. She absorbed four Gold Dots. Dat'll do it.

Columbus/Franklin County is a leftist enclave. And the city may pay out big bucks to the dead girl's parents, even though the money should not be paid. Cleveland paid millions to the mother of Tamir Rice, and 400,000 dollars to his 15 year old sister, even though the shooting was absolutely justified.

RIP The Oscars – these grim, woke
ravaged, fun-devoid awards were a
howlingly dull train-wreck that killed the
Hollywood dream stone dead

The howl was loud, prolonged, anguished and animated.Actress Frances McDormand's bizarre imitation of a wolf was comfortably the most surprising and interesting part of this year's Oscars. And although there was a heartfelt story behind it – she was paying tribute to a sound engineer on her movie Nomadland named Michael Wolf Snyder who took his life earlier this year – the howl perfectly encapsulated my own feelings watching the most unwatchable Academy Awards in history.Honestly, if there was an Oscar for Worst Horror Story, it would go to whoever decided it would be a good idea to hold this year's event in a train station.

The number of people who tuned in to watch the three-hour long 'wokefest' that was the Oscars has hit an all time low with just 9.85 million viewers. The television ratings for the 93rd Academy Awards on Sunday night is a 58 percent drop compared to last year's already record-low 23.64 million viewers, according to early Nielsen numbers. The huge drop in ratings for Hollywood's biggest night continues an overall multi-year downward trend for the Academy Awards, which were above 43 million as recently as 2014. It comes after the Grammys, Golden Globes and SAG Awards all experienced more than 50 percent declines

A few videos are making the rounds showing a wild brawl taking place at one of the gates in Miami International Airport. We don’t know what started the brawl, although the media are reporting that the police did eventually arrest one person for disorderly conduct. The primary victim, however, does not want to press charges, so the matter will almost certainly disappear. What makes one of the videos so compelling is the fact that it seemly represents the breakdown of law and order across American cities.

Fox News Poll: Biden approaches 100-day milestone As Joe Biden closes in on the 100-day mark of his presidency, a Fox News poll finds a 54 percent majority of voters approves of his job performance. That's lower than Barack Obama's 62 percent and George W. Bush's 63 percent approval at their respective 100-day points, but higher than the 45 percent Donald Trump received four years ago.  CORRECTION*
