Rep. Liz Cheney not ruling
out 2024 presidential run

Original Article

Orlando - House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney is not ruling out a potential presidential bid, The Post has learned. “I’m not ruling anything in or out — I’ve been here a long time,” she told The Post when asked if she would ever consider running in the future. The Wyoming Republican — who has been a frequent target of former President Donald Trump — said there are a number of contenders she sees as having potential for the 2024 nomination, adding that she believes the lawmakers who led the efforts on challenging the election on Jan. 6 should be out of the running.

Comments:

I'm sure the uniparty would support her but Republicans won't.

My first thought, OP, is unfortunately there are a lot of W TX Republicans I know who WOULD vote for her. They would say same thing we did about Dubya - better than a democrat. However, this is Cheney’s last term and we fi not have to do anything but laugh at her delusions of grandeur. The conservative MAGA Trump supporters are far larger in number than the globalist, greedy Bush Republicans.

The NeverTrumpers are circling like vultures. She reminds me of the Bushes. Socially Conservative. Fiscally Liberal. Big spender. Big government. Globalist. She isn't a fighter so the Democrats and the media would walk all over her. Neither honest or blatantly dishonest. She would lie, but it would be hard to catch her at it (just like the Bushes). Put all that together, and the answer is 'No Thanks'.

Liz Cheney self-destructed. She transformed one of the safest GOP seats in the House into a tossup. The Republicans who have announced primary election challenges to Cheney are clowns. If one of them wins, we could lose this seat to a democrat. If Cheney emerges from the primary, she is up against a tough fight in a contest with what I expect to be an extremely well funded democrat. Cheney is not conservative. She has a lifetime 78 % American Conservative Union rating.

Twenty retired French generals have called for military rule if Emmanuel Macron fails to halt the 'disintegration' of the country 'at the hands of Islamists', in an open letter published ahead of next year's presidential election. The open letter, published in Valeurs Actuelles, a right-wing news magazine, claims a military coup might be necessary to stop a 'civil war' in France. The letter has been condemned by Macron's government, who compared it to the failed coup by generals against President de Gaulle 60 years ago. However, far-right National Rally leader Marine Le Pen hailed the letter, which was signed by 80 other retired officers,

Here’s something you don’t hear every day. In North Carolina Tuesday, an official was relieved of his position. As relayed by the Greensboro News and Record, construction contractor Tony Collins was unanimously kicked off the Greensboro City Council’s Zoning Commission. The reason: The day before, he’d addressed Carrie Rosario — who has her doctorate degree — as “Carrie” and “Mrs. Rosario.” She’d repeatedly requested to be called “Dr. Rosario.”
RIP The Oscars – these grim, woke

The howl was loud, prolonged, anguished and animated.Actress Frances McDormand's bizarre imitation of a wolf was comfortably the most surprising and interesting part of this year's Oscars. And although there was a heartfelt story behind it – she was paying tribute to a sound engineer on her movie Nomadland named Michael Wolf Snyder who took his life earlier this year – the howl perfectly encapsulated my own feelings watching the most unwatchable Academy Awards in history.Honestly, if there was an Oscar for Worst Horror Story, it would go to whoever decided it would be a good idea to hold this year's event in a train station.

The number of people who tuned in to watch the three-hour long 'wokefest' that was the Oscars has hit an all time low with just 9.85 million viewers. The television ratings for the 93rd Academy Awards on Sunday night is a 58 percent drop compared to last year's already record-low 23.64 million viewers, according to early Nielsen numbers. The huge drop in ratings for Hollywood's biggest night continues an overall multi-year downward trend for the Academy Awards, which were above 43 million as recently as 2014. It comes after the Grammys, Golden Globes and SAG Awards all experienced more than 50 percent declines

A few videos are making the rounds showing a wild brawl taking place at one of the gates in Miami International Airport. We don’t know what started the brawl, although the media are reporting that the police did eventually arrest one person for disorderly conduct. The primary victim, however, does not want to press charges, so the matter will almost certainly disappear. What makes one of the videos so compelling is the fact that it seemly represents the breakdown of law and order across American cities.

Fox News Poll: Biden approaches 100-day milestone As Joe Biden closes in on the 100-day mark of his presidency, a Fox News poll finds a 54 percent majority of voters approves of his job performance. That's lower than Barack Obama's 62 percent and George W. Bush's 63 percent approval at their respective 100-day points, but higher than the 45 percent Donald Trump received four years ago.  CORRECTION*
