The number of people who tuned in to watch the three-hour long 'wokefest' that was the Oscars has hit an all time low with just 9.85 million viewers. The television ratings for the 93rd Academy Awards on Sunday night is a 58 percent drop compared to last year's already record-low 23.64 million viewers, according to early Nielsen numbers. The huge drop in ratings for Hollywood's biggest night continues an overall multi-year downward trend for the Academy Awards, which were above 43 million as recently as 2014. It comes after the Grammys, Golden Globes and SAG Awards all experienced more than 50 percent declines

The King's Speech in 2010 was the last Oscar nominated film that I saw. I didn't leave Hollywood, it left me.

I actually saw two of the nominated films, The Trial of the Chicago Seven which was okay, and The Sound of Metal, which was preachy crap.

Haha, Hollyweird is going the way of print media and no one cares! Actors are nothing but overpaid psychopaths who pretend to be other people who really did accomplish something in life, whether they were war heroes, etc. Of all the people I'd like to sit with and drink a beer, none would be actors.

Next year, instead of running the credits (you know, the people that put on the show), the network is going to run a chyron of the viewers. It'll be a shorter list.

When people are tuning you out, and not paying attention to you, your platform is smaller and smaller.
And, all of TV gave them the night without any first-run shows.

For me that 9.85 million is still too high. Hopefully we can get it down further next year.

Years ago many actors loved America. Many of them served well in WW2, and those who didn't made movies that backed America. Todays actor are worthless morons who push their liberal crap down our throats. The sooner they go broke the better.
