WASHINGTON — The Census Bureau released state population totals that determine each state's number of House seats on Monday, with just seven seats moving among 13 states — the smallest shift among the states since the current congressional apportionment model was adopted in the 1940s. Texas was the biggest winner, gaining two House seats to its total. Following the Lone Star State, Colorado, Montana, Oregon, Florida and North Carolina each gained one seat. The losses were concentrated in the industrial Midwest, with Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio each losing one seat. Democratic strongholds California and New York each lost a

If you assume for starters there are 25 million illegals and 1/2 live in California you are talking 16 seats. I have to believe its at least 12 and could be 20. NUTS.

I want to know how many illegal human beings are in that count. States want them included because they get Federal money to pay for the welfare benefits they give to them. Democrats like to say, "You can't round up 30 million illegals and send them back!" Oh yes you can! It was done once before, under Eisenhower. We are being played for chumps.

Unfortunately Texas has also "gained" a bunch of brain dead liberals from California who never figured out that leftist policy was the real reason they left, and who will continue to reflexively vote straight ticket D.

Yeah, could have been much, much worse for the Dems. Florida probably should have gotten another seat, Texas a third (although two was pretty well baked in the cake). Big question is how the Dems in Calif, NY, and Ill. will redistrict to try and weasel out as many GOP seats as they can.

Unfortunately, Pennsylvania, with a Republican legislature, will end up with the Democrat Supreme Court, gerrymandering the state.

Crematoriums in the Indian capital Delhi have been forced to build makeshift funeral pyres, as the city runs out of space to cremate its dead. Staff are working around the clock, while parks and other empty spaces are also being utilised for cremations. Families have had to wait hours before being allowed to cremate their dead due to the rise in demand. Deaths have been surging in India as a second wave of infections devastates the country. The rising number of deaths - 380 were recorded in Delhi alone on Monday - has left crematoriums in urgent need of space. At the

The vast majority of Black smokers, an estimated 85 per cent, use menthol cigarettes, and now the Food and Drug Administration is set to take action this week. The FDA faces a Thursday court deadline to respond to a 2013 citizen petition urging it to ban menthol, in the same way it has other prohibited flavoured cigarettes. There was a lot of buildup toward the CDC’s announcement relaxing the guidance on the wearing of masks outdoors. The results are now in, and they are a joke. Per the Washington Post, the CDC now says that “fully vaccinated Americans can go without masks outdoors when walking, jogging or biking outdoors, or dining with friends at outdoor restaurants.” But this isn’t the only deliverance the pezzonovante at the CDC are bestowing upon us. The CDC says that “even unvaccinated individuals may go without masks when walking, jogging or biking outdoors with household members.” But for those hoping this new

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison told CBS's "60 Minutes" in an interview aired Sunday that there was no evidence that Derek Chauvin's murder of George Floyd last May was a hate crime. Chauvin was convicted of murder and manslaughter charges on Tuesday for Floyd's death, during which the former police officer kneeled on Floyd's neck for more than nine minutes. Chauvin faces up to 40 years in prison and is currently being held in solitary confinement. When interviewer Scott Pelley asked Ellison whether the murder was a hate crime, the prosecutor replied: "I wouldn't call it that because hate crimes

MINNEAPOLIS — When protests broke out here last summer following George Floyd’s killing, Pimento Jamaican Kitchen was one of the few restaurants on its block that remained open. It became a community hub, feeding the hungry, distributing necessities like diapers and serving as a gathering spot for activists.
