An airport brawl seems like

A few videos are making the rounds showing a wild brawl taking place at one of the gates in Miami International Airport. We don’t know what started the brawl, although the media are reporting that the police did eventually arrest one person for disorderly conduct. The primary victim, however, does not want to press charges, so the matter will almost certainly disappear. What makes one of the videos so compelling is the fact that it seemly represents the breakdown of law and order across American cities.

Widburg citing "The Abolition of Man!" This is on my list of "Books One Must Read to Understand the World." CS Lewis says, to put it in modern parlance, when you delete traditional moral values you create a moral vacuum, which is filled by individuals simply acting on unguided impulse and a world that looks a lot like hell. This is what we're living through.

A microcosm of a certain segment of our society, one which commands an inordinate proportion of our attention. To call this a reflection of our society at large is wrong and the worst wrong is done to those who happen to share some visual characteristics with the mob yet live by Christian, and traditional American values.

In a situation where members of an ethnic group are fighting it out, the risks of intervening are high. First, they're more used to fighting than we are, second, the risk of all participants turning on the one who tries to intervene is high, and three, the likelihood of getting badly injured because of the first and second points is near certain. Best to retreat to safety and let the someone win or wait until people paid to break up fights show up.

Unless someone’s life is clearly in danger no one should ever intervene in a such a brawl unless they are armed or have the support of several other people. This not a random event. We see this all time and it almost always is the same story, failure of family, community leaders, political leaders and the justice system to instill and enforce non-violent behavior in young people. Until this changes, people will take whatever steps necessary to avoid any possible interaction or encounters with this type potential violence. When society breaks down, fear of violence surpasses all other emotions.

Kamala Harris hasn't been looking well lately. She gave a maskless interview to CNN's Dana Bash a week ago, and she looked much more jowly and wrinkly than she did just three months ago, when she took the oath of office. She has a bit more junk in the trunk now, and gone are the purple, maroon, and ivory suits; it's black or navy all the time now, the better to hide the extra jiggly bits. A lot of her sentences now begin with "Well, I mean," signaling the intellectual vacuity she's settled for, as though she's completely given up on trying to sound smart.

Whoa! Joe Biden thinks that that relatively mild, wholly unarmed breach of the Capitol was the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War!” How historically ignorant are his speechwriters? They seem to have forgotten about the assassination of Lincoln, WWI, Pearl Harbor and WWII, the Kennedy assassination, 9/11! Did they really think that line would resonate with anyone with a modicum of historical knowledge? While the entire speech was banal, this was the most egregious spoken line. That an American president would utter such an unspeakable lie is the measure of this man. He is a fool.

Time to end the fear. Here’s the ugly fact that must be confronted: The Democratic Party is now an extremist organ waging a fierce cold civil war to seize power and eviscerate America as founded and upend and erase its exceptional culture. The party is saturated with Marxist sensibilities, ideas, and motivations. Marxism is alien and hostile. It’s fundamentally anti-American.
