President Joe Biden kicked off his virtual Earth Day climate summit on Thursday by announcing his administration’s very ambitious plan to cut greenhouse gas emissions by more than 50 percent from 2005 levels by 2030 and enable the U.S. to reach net zero emissions by 2050. Sacrifice on the part of every American will be necessary in order to achieve these goals. It will change our diets, force us to purchase electric cars and dictate the way we heat our homes.

the intent is, to promote the most outrageous and stupid ideas to the people and then see how many will comply. that is how they are determining how well their agenda is being received by the people, whether willingly or unwillingly. then and only then will they begin to advocate and force more and more ridiculosity to the administration of the "laws" being passed and promulgated as "law", to coerce the people into following these outrageous edicts and they are edicts, they are not "laws" it's the same technique they used with the covid thing.

What is this “cutting emissions 50% from 2005” stuff? What is special about 2005? The US has cut our emissions more than any other country. Is this another example of president * trying to take credit for things others accomplished?

Forcing people to cut their red meat intake by 90% will lead to many people developing anemia. When people are running around with anemia, they feel weak and tired and nonproductive. That also drops peoples' oxygen saturation levels. Some people may end up needing blood transfusions. This is by far the stupidest and most evil administration.

If he considered red meat consumption to be detrimental to goof heart health, maybe he could declare a health emergency and then "lock down" beef production and limit consumption through an Executive Order. There, problem solved.

"They can recommend [the courses], but thank goodness, the United States government cannot control. Bush, whose 2007 push for an immigration reform bill met with furious resistance from his own party, wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post, in which he previewed a new book that he said will include "principles for reform that can restore the people’s confidence in an immigration system that serves both our values and our interests CORRECTION*

The Associated Press obtained a copy of the paper, which was first reported by Punchbowl News, a news outlet covering Capitol Hill. The AP could not independently confirm the organization’s origins or current status, but Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., said he was joining and indicated that fellow conservative Rep. The FCC in 2020 banned carriers in the United States from using an $8.3 billion federal fund to purchase equipment from China-based telecom companies Huawei and ZTE after deeming them to be national security threats. American politics is caught in a perverse paradox. The bases of both parties would like nothing more than to destroy the other party. But it is precisely this animus that prevents them from accomplishing their goal. That’s because the best strategy for partisans to wreak havoc in the other party is to pursue bipartisanship when they’re in power. When Barack Obama came into office with majorities in Congress, he opted to push his agenda on a party-line basis, starting with the 2009 stimulus package that passed the Senate with only three Republican votes and the 2010 Affordable Care Act that got no Republican support in the Senate.
