Pete Buttigieg called out by
Chris Wallace (!) on lies

I am not a big fan of Chris Wallace of Fox News, but to his credit he called BS on Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg yesterday in an eight-and-a-half-minute interview on Fox News Sunday, even while letting the biggest lie pass with no comment. Wallace let slide the most egregious misrepresentation, that less than 10% of the multi-trillion dollar so-called “infrastructure” bill for which Buttigieg has become a point man is dedicated to genuine infrastructure – roads, bridges, airports and the power grid. That was not of interest to Wallace. There are limits to his willingness to challenge progressives. In fact, Wallace has adopted a new expression, “hard infrastructure"

Wallace called him out for counting the estimated 16 million is expected job growth without the infrastructure scam then adding to it the 2.7 that Pot Hole Pete thinks would be added beyond that. Ok fair point Chrissy but you missed the biggest point. When the government takes more of our money to do things we have less money to do things. The political ruling class pretend that they can take an action without the consequences of the inevitable equal and opposite reaction. Many of those 16 million jobs and other current jobs will be lost as our government attempts to do the same thing they have been trying since WWII while once again expecting a different result. Tax percentage increases will result in lower total taxes collected as the economy contracts and jobs are lost.

We saw this movie with Obozo/Biden version I. The third sequel will accomplish the same thing, nothing. No highway improvements, no 'shovel ready' jobs, and stolen taxpayer money funneled to swamp politicians and their masters. Why not call it the National midnight basketball initiative? After all, that wonderous Clinton era program was so effective at reducing crime.

The verbal gymnastics that Buttigieg uses to describe things gives a totally different picture of the plan than what it really is. Still Buttigieg says with a straight face 19 million jobs 2.7 million jobs, its just a matter of semantics. No, it is the matter of the 16.3 million jobs difference that you and everyone else lied about. The number of jobs and the 96% of the "infrastructure" bill that has nothing to do with infrastructure. No matter what Chris Wallace said, Buttigieg just gave the same canned talking points about how the people want this, it is good for America, and that Wallace was arguing over semantics.

Tucker’s magnificent statement about

The words “epic” or “magnificent” are becoming cliched because they’re constantly used as clickbait headlines for things that are anything but “epic” or “magnificent.” That’s a shame because both words apply with their original force to Tucker Carlson’s opening monologue on Monday night. He brought both logic and passion to explaining that the Democrat party’s open borders policy is deliberately intended to import people who will vote for Democrats. In hindsight, what he said is completely obvious but too few people think about illegal immigration in the terms Tucker did. More must if we are to preserve our liberty-oriented, merit-based, constitutional republic.

On Sunday, a Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, police officer, while trying to taser Daunte Wright, who was violently resisting arrest, shot him instead. Within hours, the Minneapolis suburb, which is almost 30% black was threatening the police, rioting, and looting. That’s barely a headline nowadays. What was more interesting and, to born-and-raised American citizens, more disturbing, was the fact that, when Brooklyn Center’s city manager insisted that the police officer still gets the benefit of due process, the City Council promptly fired him.

As far back as 1996, Mikhail Gorbachev laid bare the agenda driving climate alarmism: “The threat of environmental crisis will be the international disaster key to unlock the New World Order.” He was underscoring the importance of advancing Marxist objectives by creating an emergency to convince people they must surrender freedom to be safe. That idea has been parlayed over the decades into a global campaign of the Left to control vibrant economies, end individual freedom and national sovereignties, and impoverish the world. In America, it is being served up as the Green New Deal (GND).

The National Guard has been called out to control rioting in the wake of a police shooting in the northern Minneapolis lower-middle-class suburb of Brooklyn Center (whose Caucasian population is 44.5% according to Census Bureau estimates). Rioters behaved with a hair trigger response, with at least one shot fired into the police station, and looting reported locally and many miles distant (snip) The jurors in the trial of former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin are not being sequestered and so are almost certainly aware of the riots, making it very difficult for them to deliver any not guilty verdict

Poll of the week: A new Reuters/Ipsos poll finds that 55% of Republicans falsely believe Joe Biden's victory in the 2020 presidential election was the result of illegal voting or rigging. Additionally, 60% of Republicans incorrectly agree that the election was stolen from Republican Donald Trump. These polls are the latest to indicate that Republicans mistakenly think that the 2020 election wasn't legitimate, when it clearly was. What's the point: Republicans have been pushing legislation at the state level to make voting at least somewhat more difficult than it was for the 2020 election. This has come in the wake of polls showing many Republicans doubt the election result. It is unclear
