Sean “Diddy” Combs on Thursday accused General Motors and corporate America of “exploiting” Black culture and “manipulating” Black people into accepting incremental progress instead of radical change. “The same feet these companies use to stand with us in solidarity are the same feet they use to stand on our necks,” the record executive and former rapper wrote on his website Revolt. “No longer can Corporate America manipulate our community into believing that incremental progress is acceptable action. Corporations like General Motors have exploited our culture, undermined our power, and excluded Black entrepreneurs from participating in the value created by Black consumers.”

An 8-month-old baby died Friday after his 3-year-old brother accidentally fired a gun he found in their Houston apartment. As a senator, he defended the Hyde Amendment, which protects pro-life taxpayers from footing the bill for something they consider to be murder. Senator Biden also voted for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) in 1993. Even as late as 2003, Biden voted for a bill to prohibit partial-birth and late-term abortion. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is determined to root out “extremism” from the ranks of the military. He has just concluded a 60-day series of “listening sessions” dealing with the question of how he should go about the task of cleansing the armed forces of bad thoughts and is now ready to begin implementing programs and policies to that end.
But Austin has a huge problem. He has to be able to define “extremism” in such a way as to safeguard our constitutional liberties while rooting out the skinheads, the Klan members, the gangbangers, and violent revolutionaries that make up a small but significant fraction of the armed forces.
