Pete Buttigieg told Christians Sunday that getting vaccinated against coronavirus is 'part of God's plan' as a new poll shows 30% of white evangelicals will definitely refuse to get inoculated. 'You have been outspoken on issues of your personal faith. Otherwise, I normally wouldn't bring this up,' CNN's Jake Tapper posed to Buttigieg. 'Why do you think it is that so many of your fellow white evangelical Christians are reluctant to be vaccinated? And what's your message to them?' 'You know, sometimes, I have heard people, people I care about, saying, if I'm faithful, God's going to take care of me,' the Transportation secretary said...

Not to nitpick, but the premise of question itself is false. Any journalist worth his salt would know that Buttigieg is not an evangelical Christian. Doesn’t claim to be one. Doesn't want to be one. Doesn’t even seem to like them.

The ecocrazies have told us for decades that 'humans are wrecking the planet'. And they started by fighting against pollution.....in 1968 they started with modifications to autos to 'make them cleaner', and Nixon created the EPA to 'clean up the air and water'. And the air and water are very clean today, far, far nicer than when I was a teen, no doubt about it. I support that. But then they decided that cutting trees was bad, and they started doing ecoterrorism against logging. And they now hate your 'carbon spewing cars' because they imagine that carbon dioxide is a "pollutant". What if they had absolutely no morals, no ethics and finally "hit upon the REAL solution" to the problems of pollution of planet earth. WHat if they figured out how to solve all the mining, road building, home building, car driving, airline flying, oil drilling, and urban sprawl "problems" that they keep going on about? What if they decided that the real problem is people? What if they decided to solve the real problem by reducing the number of people. Start with lots of abortions. They have "prevented" about 60 million people from being born so far. What if that wasn't enough? What if they decided that instead of 7.5 billion people, Planet Earth "should have" more like 500 million people? How do you do accomplish this? Well, maybe a nuclear war....Oh, wait, that would 'harm the ecology'. What is something that would "get rid of" a lot of people? But how to protect "the right people"? What if they have found a solution to their "people problem"?

Actually, godless as he is, he may have a point. I always think of the old joke about the drowning man who refuses help from two boats and a helicopter, every time saying no thanks, God will save me. When he drowns and dies and confronts God he says, why didn't you save me? God says, who do you think sent two boats and a helicopter? I feel the same way about people like Jehovah's Witnesses who refuse blood transfusions or any Christians who refuse medical care for children especially saying they will pray over them instead and they always die or evangelicals who see some ulterior motive in vaccinations. God may allow sickness but He provides some humans, i.e. doctors, with the intelligence to cure or alleviate it.

FTA: “...maybe a vaccine is part of God’s plan...” ~~~ Scripture teaches that everything God created was very good, perfect (Genesis 1:31). Scripture teaches that the shedding of innocent blood is among the seven things that are an abomination to the Lord (Proverbs 6:16-17). Scripture also reveals God’s teachings about aborted, premature or stillborn babies as the result of violence to a pregnant woman (Genesis 9:6, Exodus 21:22-25). The so-called COVID-19 vaccine, described as an experimental mRNA treatment, affects a person’s DNA. Some “vaccines” use aborted human fetus cells. While Scripture teaches about compassion and the need for healing, God may not appreciate tampering with His created order of perfection, including the human body, by changing our God-given DNA or using violently aborted human fetus cells. Assuming this particular “vaccine” may be part of God’s plan doesn’t seem very likely.

What they don't get, is that our hesitancy is based on the lack of trust for those pushing the vaccine. "Depopulation of the earth" Bill Gates; and "making a fortune after financing the Wuhan lab" Faucci. And the more they coerce, the more firm our resolve.
