How Will the Pentagon Define 'Extremism'?

Original Article

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is determined to root out “extremism” from the ranks of the military. He has just concluded a 60-day series of “listening sessions” dealing with the question of how he should go about the task of cleansing the armed forces of bad thoughts and is now ready to begin implementing programs and policies to that end. But Austin has a huge problem. He has to be able to define “extremism” in such a way as to safeguard our constitutional liberties while rooting out the skinheads, the Klan members, the gangbangers, and violent revolutionaries that make up a small but significant fraction of the armed forces. What is “extremism”?

Here's an idea. Purge the military of actual bad actors, not people who have thoughts inimical to progressive dogma.

The answer is pretty obvious, an "extremist" in the new Army is anyone who will oppose using troops to enforce the will of the Democratic Party.

They'll define it as, "conservative", "anti-warmist", "patriotic", "family oriented", "loyal", "self-motivated", "religious", "intelligent"... They'll keep the goons, the mooks and those who cower before their threats. They'll do what the left says, without question. They think modern military technology will make up the difference - especially if they can call in UN troops if things go sideline for them.

A Defense Department official stated that it was "unacceptable" for soldiers to equate the 500 BLM riots last year with the January 6 riot at the Capitol because the former were for "social justice." The Secretary of Defense let that statement stand without contradiction. Obviously "extremism" is any thought inconsistent with leftwing orthodoxy in general and Black Lives Matter sloganeering in particular.

What is Mr. Austin's, or any other Government official's, authority to inquire into the personal beliefs of any American citizen, soldier or not? What is Mr. Austin's authority, or any other Government official's authority to prescribe a political orthodoxy or to punish thoughts which deviate from it held by any American citizen, soldier or not? There is as yet no such thing as a "thought crime" in the United States, Lloyd Austin notwithstanding.

Just more actions that will guarantee in the future the greatest military in the history of the world can be beaten by ragtag bands of losers and evil ideologies that don't give a hoot about "equity." But that isn't the primary objective here: it is to ensure that the dems, leftists and evil woke people - when they finally achieve permanent control of our government - will have their instrument with which to crush any rebellion arising from the real patriots in this country. My WWII veteran dad is rolling over in his grave.

Right now. Right this minute at the service academies, there is critical race theory training, called by a different name but it is exactly the same thing Trump banned. At Navy, they're called Diversity Teams. Every mid must be on one of those teams and white mids are "encouraged" to confess their white sins to their team. Anyone who has not been deemed an "anti-racist" is kicked out. You MUST profess and demonstrate that you are an anti-racist to graduate. So, things are MUCH worse than you think. What Austin says is pure Marxism lying and what you are not allowed to witness is the Pol-pot like indoctrination. This is but one of dozens of things being done to make the United States of Dominion the most Marxist country in history, and they're moving at afterburner speed and success. Mask up now you new Dominioners, be patriotic. It' science!

I was surprised to read (in The Los Angeles Times) that the Biden administration's "role model for America" is... California! He wants to "Make America California." That's is a terrible idea. Californians now rush to move out of California. Some hopeful folks still move there, but so many more leave that California now loses more than 10,000 citizens every month. In fact, the state will soon lose a congressional seat. Why do Californians leave? "Exorbitant tax rates, high crime rates, the failing public school systems, the exorbitant cost of living," says reporter Kristen Tate in my new video. So many Californians move away that there's now even a shortage of U-Hauls.

President Joe “Buy a Shotgun” Biden announced plans to “go it alone” on eroding gun rights on Thursday by announcing several executive orders. Biden issued diktats to regulate plastic gun “braces” for handicapped users, criminalize AR pistols, get tough on guns you can’t sell, and begin to federalize “red flag laws” that, by definition, deny citizens their right to due process. Biden announced that rights, like that pesky Second Amendment, are not “absolute,” as PJ Media colleague Tyler O’Neill reported. Rather, they’re malleable or entirely replaceable by his lights. Biden is doing this at the behest of the anti-Second Amendment groups as a political payback, even as America has

One of the shortcomings of maps showing the potential area of naval confrontation between China on the one hand and the US, Japan and Australia on the other is they commonly depict the surface of the sea. But underneath the waves lies an unseen world of communications cables through which the information economy flows and to which conflict will naturally come. "People think that data is in the cloud, but it’s not,” said Jayne Stowell, who oversees construction of Google’s undersea cable projects. “It’s in the ocean.”…Content providers like Microsoft, Google, Facebook and Amazon now own or lease more than half of the undersea bandwidth.

Joe Biden may have been something like a moderate, once. As a senator, he defended the Hyde Amendment, which protects pro-life taxpayers from footing the bill for something they consider to be murder. Senator Biden also voted for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) in 1993. Even as late as 2003, Biden voted for a bill to prohibit partial-birth and late-term abortion. Biden did indeed work with Republicans to pass legislation. In 1987, Biden condemned Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s scheme to pack the Supreme Court to support the New Deal. Alas, that Joe Biden is nowhere to be found in the White House.
