Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin is determined to root out “extremism” from the ranks of the military. He has just concluded a 60-day series of “listening sessions” dealing with the question of how he should go about the task of cleansing the armed forces of bad thoughts and is now ready to begin implementing programs and policies to that end. But Austin has a huge problem. He has to be able to define “extremism” in such a way as to safeguard our constitutional liberties while rooting out the skinheads, the Klan members, the gangbangers, and violent revolutionaries that make up a small but significant fraction of the armed forces. What is “extremism”?

Hideki Matsuyama held off the field at the Masters on Sunday as he secured his first green jacket.
Matsuyama became the first Japanese man to ever win the Masters as he finished the tournament at 10-under. Matsuyama shot an 1-over 73 on Sunday, closing the weekend one stroke ahead of second-place finisher Will Zalatoris.Matsuyama, 29, won at Augusta National in his 10th Masters appearance. He previously finished fifth at the Masters in 2015, and he entered the weekend with five career PGA Tour wins. Matsuyama had not won a tournament since 2017 before Sunday's victory.

I was surprised to read (in The Los Angeles Times) that the Biden administration's "role model for America" is... California! He wants to "Make America California."
That's is a terrible idea.
Californians now rush to move out of California.
Some hopeful folks still move there, but so many more leave that California now loses more than 10,000 citizens every month. In fact, the state will soon lose a congressional seat.
Why do Californians leave? "Exorbitant tax rates, high crime rates, the failing public school systems, the exorbitant cost of living," says reporter Kristen Tate in my new video.
So many Californians move away that there's now even a shortage of U-Hauls.
President Joe “Buy a Shotgun” Biden announced plans to “go it alone” on eroding gun rights on Thursday by announcing several executive orders. Biden issued diktats to regulate plastic gun “braces” for handicapped users, criminalize AR pistols, get tough on guns you can’t sell, and begin to federalize “red flag laws” that, by definition, deny citizens their right to due process.

More and more frequently we so-called advanced moderns believe things to be true that an illiterate farmer in 1800 would have known to be false. As a senator, he defended the Hyde Amendment, which protects pro-life taxpayers from footing the bill for something they consider to be murder. Senator Biden also voted for the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) in 1993. Even as late as 2003, Biden voted for a bill to prohibit partial-birth and late-term abortion. Biden did indeed work with Republicans to pass legislation. In 1987, Biden condemned Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s scheme to pack the Supreme Court to support the New Deal.
