More than 100 corporate leaders joined in a Zoom call on Saturday to discuss ways they could counter new voting regulations that some see as a move to reduce electoral participation. Their call was convened in response to new rules in Georgia, signed into law by the governor on March 31, which critics say brings back Jim Crow-era restrictions. Executives who have said they would sign on include ones from: Pepsi, PayPal, Starbucks, AMC Entertainment, Merck, Hess and T. Rowe Price, according to The Wall Street Journal.(Snip) Mellody Hobson, chairwoman of Starbucks' board, said on the call that political unrest is bad for business,

I stopped drinking Pepsi when they kowtowed to the racist thugs of BLM and gave them lots of money.
And I stopped drinking Coke because I am too white to drink it (at least according to the racists at Coke).
I sure hope the folks at Dr. Pepper don't get political!!!

Corporations who favor voter fraud over ‘political unrest’ should absolutely be boycotted into eternity. They are far overstepping their bounds. The majority of voters approve of voter ID. What does or does not impact their profits related to State voter laws is irrelevant to the process. Please vote with your wallets.

Being required to show an ID to verify that you are eligible to vote is not a Jim Crow-era restriction. To say that it is is just ridiculous. No one is asking for a literacy test (which many Americans could not pass, anyway) or a poll tax. Just an ID, if you please. Who doesn't have an ID these days? How do they function without one? What is maddening is that all those yammering away about Jim Crow and racism seem to be demoncrats, who invented the Jim Crow laws, enforced segregation, loved slavery and still seem to. Republicans, Christians and conservatives never had anything to do with such things. The Republican Party was formed to do away with slavery. Why are they even talking about us?

What these corporate cowards are really saying is that it is better to accept fake manipulated elections than to give groups like Antifa and BLM any excuse to burn down their businesses. The CEOs don't really care that Democrat machine politics is destroying minority communities through economic and judicial malfeasance. That's just an acceptable cost for maintaining peace. It is the racism of low expectations.

These businesses don’t care what Americans think. The customer base they aspire to acquiring is in China. They want that business! Why do you think China had a huge hand in the voter fraud perpetrated in the 2020 election? They wanted a party that would do their bidding. President Trump was a thorn in their side and more importantly he humiliated them on the world’s stage. China dangled their markets in front of them and promised a victory over Trump and right then an alliance was made in hell. American corporations are not Patriots. They are opportunists and real opportunities lie in Chinese markets. Don’t look for Patriots in most of the board rooms of American companies. Their loyalty lies with the almighty dollar or should I say yuan.

Most of the corporate world has been taken over by the anti-American left. They aren't afraid of the left, they are allies. The corporate world is not run by capitalists. Its run by looters.
Political unrest is bad for business? They are the ones causing it by changing the rule of law into a leftist tyranny. They are the ones creating political unrest and the bad business climate.
Want to make a statement? Just cut back on your spending. Save your money. These people hate it when you don't waste your money on them. The stark reality is we don't need them or their products and services.

If you think there are free markets or that the United States economy is free market capitalism, you are completely wrong. It is an oligarchy, period. When the Fed, a "private" currency producer sets interest rates that are NOT based on any kind of price discovery per government direction, and that government pays its debts with more printed currency. Free markets are an impossibility. Inflation WILL happen and in many cases is already happening with products NOT listed on the CPI (can you say beef and other food prices?). Companies that have zero or little profit, yet their stocks are through the roof is another proof that there is NO free markets because price discovery is rendered impossible by the government. And stop calling the US dollar money. It is NOT money. It is currency backed by nothing but a fantasy that the world believes in until they stop believing in it. It is NOT a store of value when, as a hegemony, its purchasing power gets smaller and smaller. Gold and silver is money even though both metals values are illegally manipulated (London has been fined many times for gold and silver price manipulation only to be fined micro-pennies for their crimes, keeping enormous profits. NO ONE goes to jail for committing the crimes, by design). Add giant corporations into the mix and free markets DO NOT exist, especially here.

The list of attendees on that phone call needs to be made public. If Big Business wants to play in the political arena, it's going to have to be made crystal clear to them that taking a stand with the left will cost them business -- a LOT of business -- from the right. And their shareholders need to be made equally aware. The head of Home Depot doesn't answer to you, but he does to the shareholders. And fund managers do not like their bottom lines being messed with; it makes them lose money.

Big Business working hand in hand with a thoroughly corrupt federal government? "That's the free market at work," say the Republicans. Political unrest is not Marxists burning cities or stealing elections, but rather people who want at least the illusion that their votes count. Maybe they should demand arrest of dissidents, as in the good old Soviet days? Surveillance cameras at participating stores will identify enemies of the state and call the authorities, maybe even detailing them on their own.
