Why I’m still in pandemic mode,
four weeks after my second vaccine dose

Original Article

It’s been four weeks since I received my second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, but very little has changed for me. I’m still living in pandemic mode. (Snip) Let’s just hope people are willing to get the vaccines once they are more accessible. If they don’t, we’re doomed. There’s a chance that the normal we once knew no longer exists. That doesn’t mean we won’t regain most of the freedoms we lost over the past year. It just means we’ll have to be extra careful far longer than we’d like.

'Dahleen' can stay in lockdown mode for the rest of her life and no one will care. The rest of us have moved on from this farce and yes, we want ALL of our freedoms back. Dr. Fauci's herd of sheep should start their own colony and Fauci could be King.

Read a little history. We have gone through many much worse pandemics without long term effects. Many times without mitigation. Woodstock was held in the middle of one without mass hysteria.

I live in Fort Worth, TX, and my life is so different than this. It boggles my mind. Don't misunderstand, there are a few people like this here, as well, but not the majority. I find it fascinating how differently people "feel" in other parts of the country. I am Lutheran, and we resumed in person services, and have been using the common cup, for almost 1 year now. I know, from discussion groups, there are churches in other states who are still not even having in person services, and using the common cup seems to be viewed by them as a suicide wish. I really can't fathom their mindsets....

Whenever I read about the MSM losing all crebility, all I have to do is go for a bike ride. I see people walking alone on a sidewalk in bright sunshine and wind, wearing a mask (or two) even with no one else anywhere in sight. This is a level of irrational created and perpetuated by the MSM and leftists. They don't want it to end! That's how this differs from prior pandemics.

I've gotten both my vaccines and I am not scared in the least. Come to think of it, I never was. My very large family got together over Easter and of all of us, only two had the covid and they had it very, very lightly. The rest of us...we are all right and ready to go. I have not and will not get vaccinated and I am not afraid in the least. The chances of my dying from cancer are about 40 times greater than dying from COVID-19 if I was to be infected. For all I know... I have been and do not even know it. Both my kids work at a grocery store and they are working more hours now then they were 14 months ago. Give Trump credit for cutting through a lot of red tape at the FDA for the vaccinations... but I still do not trust Big Pharma with anything.

Dahleen, live at home and cower, to the point where you can't spew your stupidity anymore. Mask wearing is Faketude as they are great vectors for putting virii and bacteria on your skin, get dirty in a few minutes, and don't block bacteria or viruses. Today I got on a huge freight elevator with mask in hand as I was going to the grocery store where I'd have to wear it. The grown man who was already on it told me I had to have my mask on BEFORE I entered. I walked on and started to put it on, strictly as a courtesy. He RAN out of the elevator like a scared rabbit, yelling at me. Told him 'oh, eff off'. Wish it were more!
